Quaint and spacious three-bedroom Pierino apartment in wonderful Santa Croce is sure to delight. It combines a great location, ample space, and modern amenities. Enjoy this home away from home in Florence.

Explore all the sites of Florence from this super convenient location. The area abounds with character, the block itself is a little oasis set in the bustling city. There are several charming restaurants on the block, antique store and nearby are many terrific restaurants, cafes and bars.

Pierino is a beautiful apartment located at the heart of one of Florence's artisan neighborhoods, near to restaurants, cafes, and the independent boutiques that make the city truly special. Across the street is a medieval tower home that has been in use since the 1200’s.

Enjoy the original architectural features of rustic exposed brick walls and fascinating niches that harken back to centuries ago. Beamed ceilings, stone lined arches and the warmth of wood floors add to the charm.

No stay would be complete without sampling some delicious gelato of which there are two renowned gelaterie within a 2-minute walk: Vivoli in one direction and Vestri in the other direction. You will also be a short walk to the Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio (Sant’Ambrogio market) a smaller and “more local” market than San Lorenzo, surrounded by local purveyors. Just out your door is a wonderful fruit and vegetable stand that has been in that same location for 200 years.

Piazza Santa Croce is nearby, where you can visit the famous Santa Croce basilica and enjoy the comings and goings of people making the most of the large, traffic-free piazza. Piazza Santa Croce not only hosts the daily life of Florentines, but also entertainment from buskers and larger events such as exhibits, concerts and the annual Calcio Storico, celebrated, amazing historical-style soccer matches. The famous sites of Florence are all walking distance.

Fantastic apartment, truly one of a kind. Exquisite design. Close to everything but at the same time quiet at night. Excellent restaurants in the same street as the apartment. We loved it!

Very nice apartment

by Florent B

Very nice apartment, well placed in the city! We really appreciated the quality of the beds and bathrooms! Well insulated street apartment with double glazing and insulating doors. No noise in the room despite restaurants and bars on the street. It should be noted that the tap water has a strong bleach smell (not due to the city). Consider buying bottled water
