Experience the best of Rome in a most magical location. The comfortable and well maintained Pasquino apartment is an easy stroll to Piazza Navona, outdoor cafes, trendy boutiques.

Enjoy

One of the most sought-after neighborhoods of central Rome. You can't get more central than this. The glorious Piazza Navona is half a minute walk away. Just below is the famous Pasquino statue where, for centuries, Romans have posted political lampoons. This is one of the few remaining "Talking Statues of Rome" which history is an interesting digression.

Exterior

The building was built in the 1800s as a family`s private palazzo, it was renovated in the last century to form three apartments, one per floor. The Pasquino apartment is on the top floor for maximum light.

Interior

Relax in the beautifully decorated living room with plenty of comfortable seating and original hand-painted beamed ceilings high above. The living room and bedroom 1 overlook the piazza. The windows throughout the apartment are double-glazed; this is a popular area so you may hear some noise from pedestrians at night if you leave windows open, typical for such a sought-after, central location in Rome. But, close the high insulating windows and quiet reigns. Bedroom 2 is cozy like a ship cabin with ample storage. The apartment boasts are remarkable amount of closet space and a very large eat-in kitchen, unusual for Roman apartments.

Things To Note

Neighborhood: Navona-Campo Fiori

Size: 1000 square feet, 93 m2

Sound: With windows open, expect some pedestrian noise below, normal for such a prime location. Or close the high insulating windows.

Utilities/Taxes: Baseline electricity included. Overage paid locally. Guests seldom exceed if they are mindful.

Favorite stay in Italy!

by Shannon B

This apartment was our favorite stay in Italy! It is even more lovely than the photos can convey, with high ceilings, painted with beautiful designs, thoughtful decor, comfortable seating, and generous amenities. The bath towels were thick and soft, the rooms were all professionally decorated, and they even left us a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator! The location was absolutely perfect - close to great restaurants, and walking distance to the Vatican and many other local attractions. Fantastic host, communicating clearly, meeting us on check in, and giving lots of local recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent location

by Jackie

Excellent location which was perfect to access all the sights easily. We walked to all the attractions and were even able to pop back during the day to change clothes when our son had a nose bleed. Lovely restaurants and a few shops nearby and a well stocked supermarket 3minutes away. Our host was fantastic and very helpful when we checked in. There was some noise late into the night from the restaurants below but we knew this before we went and it wasn’t a problem. Overall a great find and if we go back to Rome, we would book again.

All we could need for our time in Rome

by Joseph T

My wife and I stayed in Rome for 4 nights. This was our first time visiting the Eternal City so we brought along our 12 year old daughter and my Mom for the experience. The apartment and location were perfect for a first time visit. Piazza Navona was quite close, and only a few more minutes from The Pantheon, The Trevi Fountain and Trastevere. The apartment was quiet, cozy and had all we could need for our time in Rome. The team at Italy Perfect was responsive and set us up for success. Would recommend anyone with a small family to stay here while in Rome.

Trip of a Life

by Jean Berghoff

We and two grandson cousins, 13 and 15 years of age, had such a marvelous August 2023 week based in the stylish, well-appointed Pasquino apartment and charming, exquisitely located Piazza di Pasquino neighborhood that one boy titled his Instagram to friends "Trip of a Life." Rather than repeat all of the superb comments expressed in reviews, with which we concur, the following are some local favorites: Entoteca Cul de Sac and Pasquino, right below our windows in the piazza, for casual, street-side dining, and down adjacent Via del Governo Vecchio, Cantina e Cucina for great pizza, Supermercato Carrefour Express, and two wonderful gelato spots. Just behind Campo di Fiori is delightful Il Fornaio bakery on Via Dei Baullari for morning pastries and Michelin noted Luciano Cucina Italiana in Piazza del Teatro di Pompeo for outstanding food and welcome. Walking is the best way to all major monuments, but taxis are always available early morning on at the stand nearby on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, good transport even to the ancient port city Ostia Antica, an exceptional out-of-city excursion, with return by train from Ostia an easy trip. A special neighborhood moment was watching from the Cul de Sac terrace a single-person political statement at the famous Pasquino talking statue. With thanks to Pat for this our third Italy Perfect rental to again set a perfect stage for happy, memorable travel adventure with grandchildren.

I highly recommend staying here.

by Michele M

This apartment in the heart of the Piazza Navona area is wonderful. Clean, peaceful and comfortable beds and beautifully decorated. It was very clean and made my family of five feel right at home. They have all the amenities that you can think of. Clean towels, shampoo and conditioner, blow dryer, outlet converters, tea kettle, a coffee machine and even an espresso pod machine. The kitchen was also fully stocked with plates, bowls, silverware which allowed us to have breakfast in. The washer and dryer was so helpful to have to do some quick washes. The air conditioning work wonderfully which is not always the case in Europe. This apartment is just footsteps from some nice restaurants, gelato establishments, and not far from the Pantheon, Fountain of Trevi, and some beautiful churches. Rome is a walking city just like NYC. It’s the best way to take in the culture and discover the city. I highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous stay

by Gene V

We had a fabulous stay. This apartment is situated in the heart of Rome which made incredibly easy to walk to all the sites and restaurants. The host greeted us late at night and made us feel extremely welcome. They left water for us in the refrigerator and made sure the AC was on when we checked in. It was extremely warm outside and that AC was amazing. The apartment was a dream, spacious, clean, and stylish. We had a five star stay, probably one of the best rentals we ever had.

We had a wonderful vacation. Our 2 boys in there early 20’s enjoyed their first visit to Rome. There are delicious restaurants and the #1 rated gelato steps from your door. We were able to walk to our Vatican and Colosseum tours. They set up an airport transfer for us since our departure was at 5am. The apartment looks just like to online photos. We would stay at the apartment if we get back to Rome.

The apartment was in a great location, half a block from piazza Navona. There are great little streets surrounding with wonderful little stores, Restaurants and bars and supermarkets as well. On the third floor, with an elevator, it was easy to get to the apartment either on the elevator or up the stairs. Very spacious and well appointed apartment. Living room comfortable and chic the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could have needed. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There ended up only being two of us but it gave us a great opportunity for spreading out. Very clear apartment instruction book so you knew how to operate everything including the washer/dryer, dishwasher and etc.

Rome Perfect Indeed!

by Jane Reynolds Weigel

My husband and I were fortunate to spend two weeks in this comfortable and easy living apartment. The location is convenient to almost everything in Central Rome and every day we discovered more delightful shops, restaurants and piazzas in the extended neighborhood. You can walk everywhere and a conveniently located taxi stand is a block away if one needs to go farther afield. After a few days, we felt like we were a part of the scene out the door. The exuberant night time noises outside on Piazza Pasquino were noticeable, (even in November!) but keeping the windows closed helps. That said, the apartment is very comfortable so we slept well overall. The check-in with greeter was flawless and very helpful. (Do remember to bring converter plugs.) Communication with Italy Perfect staffers was also VERY helpful and the info kits supplied by the company are truly invaluable traveller guides. An excellent experience, from start to finish!

Pasquino Perfect

by Joseph & Carol

This was our 15th year of extended stays in Europe and we have used numerous apartment rental companies over that time. We can truthfully say that Vacation Perfect is without a doubt the very best. This past two-month long stay in Paris and Italy in the Marsannay and Pasquino apartments was nothing short of perfect. Along with a side trip to Tuscany in another of Vacation Perfect’s apartments our extended stay was a delight. These were the 3rd, 4th and 5th apartments we’ve rented from VP over the years and they have all been spotlessly clean, well equipped, stylishly decorated, individually unique, centrally located, easily accessible and problem free. Lisa and Pat, along with the rest of the VP team are knowledgeable, instantly helpful and totally dedicated to their clients. The Pasquino apartment is everything we’ve just described. Centrally located in the heart of the Roma action. Yet, the apartment has been recently redesigned to allow you to partake in the nightlife down on the piazza below from your windows or shut it out when sleep beckons. Rome, unlike any other city in Europe is itself a museum and the everywhere you turn is another historical gem. During our month long stay we took a side trip to Tuscany for a few days and stayed at another VP villa. Again, we weren’t disappointed. The Borgo Vespa is a beautiful, rustic elegance in the Tuscan countryside. It was a last-minute decision and Pat and her team made it happen without a hitch. We have already booked another apartment with VP for the Fall of 2022 and are anxiously looking forward to our stay. There’s an obvious reason the company is called Vacation “Perfect.”

You Can't Beat the Italy Perfect Team

by C. Kitamura

The only thing I wish had done differently is that I we had scheduled a longer stay. This was a great location. I want to echo what other reviewers have said about the Italy Perfect team. This is our second trip using the Italy Perfect and I can not say enough positive things about working with them. They are friendly and personable ... you feel like you're deal with a family member who wants you to have the perfect experience. They provided all kinds of recommendations for hosts and private guides. I also want to mention that having Matteo and Marco help with transportation from the airport and to the train station was indispensable to our getting our bearings and feeling confident that we were in the right location. Parking was a challenge, but they took care of everything and we never felt disoriented or stressed, as is sometimes the case when you\'ve flown for 15 hours and arrive exhausted. The location and accommodations were also just what we needed for our group of 5 which included a grandmother and two teenagers on their first European trip. The host who greeted us was helpful with recommendations about where to eat and general orientation to the neighborhood. It is an excellent location with Piazza Novonne right around the corner, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and so much more only minutes away ... everything was so walk-able, and beautiful, and safe. The bedding was very good, and the bathrooms and kitchen were updated and extremely nice. And, since the weather was hot, it was nice to have rooms that had screens on the windows, something that is somewhat rare in my experience in Rome. We will definitely consider this apartment and location again. Thanks to Pat and the whole team at IP ... they rock!

by Cynthia Conger

We loved the apartment - very spacious and beautiful bathrooms! It was in a great location with many restaurants nearby. The kitchen was lovely with new appliances, including a dishwasher! Our only problem was with the antique door lock. It took several tries every time we had to unlock the door. But other than that, I would definitely stay there again.

Pasquino Review

by Dave
When at the last minute our family vacation to Portugal fell apart we had to pivot quickly and opted for a trip to Rome. In reading the reviews and descriptions of various AirBnBs we settled on this apartment overlooking Piazza de Pasquino. Our driving reason was the mentions regarding the friendliness of the ItalyPerfect staff. They did not disappoint. Within 15 minutes of booking we were on the phone with Pat and she walked us through everything and put us at ease. That alone was enough for us to know we had made the right decision in booking. The apartment itself matched the photos exactly. Charming, lots of space, all the amenities. My family loved the apartment. I know there are some comments in the reviews on street noise. While my wife Michelle and I both love our quiet rural home where you can hear a pin drop in the states we both agreed you can't trade where this apartment is for the times in the evening where performers in the Piazza could be heard entertaining people dining below. Why do we have this feeling? You are steps from Piazza Navona. There are a dozen great restaurants that are less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment. We absolutely loved the restaurant across the street and went there multiple times (their Sicilian fried eggplant was simply amazing). One day we walked to the Vatican, Spanish steps and the Pantheon. There is also a street market that has fresh fruits and vegetables every morning less than 5 minute walk away. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. You will not regret the experience the location provides. My wife and twin 12 year old daughters also wholeheartedly agree!

The flat was in a perfect location for our stay in Rome. Walking distance to all the major sites, including the Colosseum (20-25 mins) and Vatican City. The area directly outside the doors has many incredible restaurants and some of the best gelato shops we found. The flat itself was incredibly well kept, beds were comfortable, incredibly clean and had that perfect Italian feeling we were looking for. With the windows open you can hear the hustle and bustle of the activity below, but when closed, it made it almost totally silent. Windows are modern and work very well. We’re just back from a 2-week Italy trip, having spent 4 nights in Rome in Centro Storico. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious for our family of five (although they set the 3rd bed up in the ‘master’ bedroom - which we moved to the living room so everyone had their own space at bedtime. ). The library bedroom is very cute and worked well for our two oldest kids. The apartment describes the 3rd bed as a trundle - so I was expecting a pull-out bed under one of the others, but it is a separate bed they set up, which was probably better for us. The location was really great - we walked everywhere - though I’m not sure I would say everything was a 20-minute walk away. Usually a bit longer, but with so much to see along the path, that wasn’t an issue for us. The restaurants nearby were also very good - several wonderful spots just down the road from us - Mimi E Coco was our absolute favoriate (excellent food) and the pizza place a bit down from there was excellent, as well. Really a wonderful stay in the apartment. We didn’t use the kitchen much (at all) but it seemed well stocked. Everything was clean, comfortable, nice decor. We’d definitely stay here again.

We were 4 people and had a lovely 4 night stay at this apartment. Cannot beat the location! We experienced unexpected rains in May, and we could rush back to the apartment, wait for rains to settle down and head out again, since it was so centrally located! Great restaurant options right down the street. Although centrally located, we did not find it too noisy. Since we were arriving late at night after a long flight, Lisa arranged an airport transfer from the airport and it went very smoothly. There is a small elevator, so luggage was not a problem. Kitchen had a Nespresso machine which we particularly enjoyed! Our greeter was also very friendly and accommodating! Thanks for a great first time experience in Rome!

This place suited our needs (2 parents and 2 young children) perfectly. It was spacious and was in a terrific location (just off Piazza di Pasquino). We could walk to almost all the attractions, and it was near a bus line for those that were farther away. The amenities were great, including an elevator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. (There is also A/C, but we didn’t need to use it.) The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was large enough for us to cook for four most nights. The windows also have screens (a rarity in Italy), which is great. We had an issue with the heat that we emailed about and was promptly revolved the next morning. The professional management service was terrific. The only caution I would give is that part of the apartment, including the master bedroom, faces the piazza and can be loud. I would not plan to open the windows into the piazza at night as such.

Our stay in Rome was wonderful. The Pasquino apartment had everything we could have wanted. My husband loved figuring out the espresso pot and we enjoyed the Nespresso machine too. The apartment is spacious with beautiful original ceilings from the 1800s. The bathrooms were beautiful, I would love to have them at home. The windows, when open let you hear all the wonderful street sounds, so you feel like part of the neighborhood but when closed a very quiet atmosphere. The piazza and neighborhood had wonderful restaurants and hidden gems of shops. Italy Perfect’s map of the area and the supermarket down the street was so helpful. When you go to Carrefour supermarket be sure to keep going to the back, we bought a beautiful assortment of cheese and meats to take home for a wonderful antipasto platter.I knew from previous visits that this was going to be the best location and it was.The Campo di Fiori was so close for their open air market with great vegetables and spices. Beautiful Piazza Navona around the corner and the Pantheon less than 5 minutes. We were able to walk everywhere, I would recommend this apartment to any of my friends, and will probably go back again. [Thank you for your great review! We had a lovely stay in Rome! The location was perfect, right by the incredible Piazza Navona. We especially loved the outdoor market just a short walk from the apartment. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed waking up to prepare a nice breakfast every morning before starting a day walking the city streets and seeing the sights. The streets around the apartment were filled with little wine bars and shops to stop into and we discovered a nearby restaurant, Etabli, which is a coffee shop by day and a bar/restaurant by night. Would definitely recommend to friends! [We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the nearby shops! The Italy Perfect Team]

We stayed in the Pasquino apartment for the Christmas and New Year's break. The apartment was a perfect size for our family of three (married couple and our 17 year old daughter). It was very comfortable with updated bathrooms and a modern, nicely equipped kitchen. We fixed breakfast everyday and cooked some really nice dinners in the kitchen. We like the layout of the apartment as it separated the living area from the sleeping areas very effectively. The location is unbeatable with all of the major sites within walking distance. Piazza Navona is probably about 100 yards from the doorstep. Via del Governo Vecchio, right below the apartment, is a very atmospheric street that has some nice restaurants and shops along it, including a pretty good grocery store with an embedded fish market. Working with Pat at Italy Perfect was great. She was very knowledgeable, responsive, and the convenience of pre-paying in U.S. dollars was a nice perk. We used one of her recommended car services for airport transfers and the drivers were prompt and had vehicles with plenty of room for the three of us and our large checked bags. We also used a recommended guide, Carolina Vincenti, for a private tour of the Vatican Museums. Carolina was a lovely lady and an absolute wealth of knowledge. It was a splurge that was worth every Euro. Last but not least, we had a delicious Christmas dinner at Casa Bleve and enjoyed the pizzas at Emma so much we went twice. In the end, staying in the Pasquino apartment really helped to make our Rome trip memorable. [Thank you so much for your great review! My husband and I and our two teenage children enjoyed five nights at Pasquino at the end of our two week holiday in Italy. The apartment is in an excellent location and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go whilst in Rome. We loved being in the buzz of this neighbourhood and able to walk downstairs to have a coffee, glass of wine or a meal. Whilst the area has a lot of tourists, it did not feel like we were in a touristy area, which was great. We had a lot of great food in the local area and did a fantastic walking food tour via Eating Europe. The apartment itself is very well equipped and being in an old building, has lots of old school Italian charm, which we loved. Staying here felt like a more genuine Roman experience than being in a hotel. My only note about this apartment is that the showers are a bit temperamental. Being in such an old building the hot water took a long time to arrive and it took us quite some time to figure out how to get the temperature right in the showers. It would have been helpful to have some advice on this from our greeter. Overall I would highly recommend a stay here. We would definitely stay again.[Thank you so much for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed staying at the Pasquino and found the location to be excellent. We will remind the greeter to explain how to set the temperature for the shower. The Italy Perfect Team]

My family of 4 enjoyed the Pasquino apartment for 5 days in July 2018. We were met by a very friendly Nancy, who had to meet us later as we arrived later than expected from the car rental across town. She showed us the apartment, which is very spacious, upscale, and comfortable. Even the framed art on the walls was stylish and high quality. Brand new baths are gleaming with gorgeous tile and fixtures, though the shower in the master bath is quite narrow and water pressure is very low. The living and dining rooms have plenty of seating. The apartment building itself is nothing special, and the elevator fits two people (the norm for these old buildings of course). The apartment's location in Rome is its best asset: you can walk from here to anywhere within 20 minutes, even Trastevere, which you should absolutely visit - we had our best meals there. Apartment is directly in the center of Rome, in a safe, beautiful, and lively neighborhood. We walked to Piazza Navona each evening since it is a block away. Great pasaggiatta each evening!Tips for future guests: the apartment is on the 3rd floor , facing a VERY busy street with bars, restaurants, shops, etc. On the weekend there was thumping music until late (2-3am?) and we had trouble staying asleep, despite double-glazed windows and using white noise machines (the windows are double-glazed and the front bedroom is actually soundproofed, but it is a loud, lively street). I would definitely stay here again and recommend enthusiastically if it did not include Friday/Saturday evening stay, unless you don't mind street noise. Everything about my experience with Italy Perfect was exceptional. The booking and check-in processes were very smooth and well-organized. The apartment is located in Piazza di Pasquino, which is a adjacent to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. It is very nearby major thoroughfares of downtown Rome, but tucked quietly into a very quaint neighborhood of small shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was very spacious, with more than enough room for my family of 5. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the mattresses were all extremely comfortable. I would not hesitate to book this unit again. [Thank you James! The Italy Perfect Team]

What a terrific property! Pasquino is first of all located perfectly. It's a 20 minute walk to either the Vatican or the Coliseum. About 10 minutes to the Pantheon. Never needed cabs or public transportation. It's tucked away in a small piazza with loads of shops and restaurants. Noise was never a factor even on a Saturday night. This was our first trip to Rome and we were intrigued to find it a culture not of main boulevards but of alleys all creating a maze of restaurants and shops to explore and enjoy. Recommend Virginiae restaurant close by. The apartment itself is very spacious and well appointed. Very nice kitchen where we cooked breakfast each morning. Good small grocery very near. Matteo, our greeter, communicated promptly and was waiting for us when we arrived from the train station. This was our 2nd experience renting from Italy Perfect as we also rented an apartment from them in Florence. They are perfect to rent from - terrific, professional and complete communication from reservation to check-in. Very helpful for first time travelers to Italy. We will definitely rent from Italy Perfect and its sister companies again.[Thank you so much, we are happy you enjoyed your stay! The Italy Perfect Team]

We loved our time in Rome! It's a magical city! The Pasquino is in a perfect location, it is so easy to walk to all of the amazing sites in Rome. The apartment was very nice, spacious and perfect for a family of 4. We loved having a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. There are plenty of good restaurants and Gelateria's close by. Walking from the Spanish Steps, by the Trevi Fountain, by the Pantheon and ending up at Piazza Navona in the evening, is a perfect way to end your day. We would certainly recommend the Italy Perfect to our friends. The other thing we loved was our tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius - we booked a tour with Viator which was fun and very well organized.. It was my kids favorite part of our trip (that and Gelato, of course).

We are hoping to make it back to Rome, and if we ever do we would definitely consider staying here again.[We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Our stay in this apartment was fantastic. Family of 4. Plenty of space to relax when we needed to. Top floor. The location turned out to be fantastic. Somewhat centrally located but just outside the tourist-y core enough to not have to deal with extensive crowds and noise. Felt like we were within a 20 minute walk of everything. The street the apartment is on has numerous restaurants and gelaterias. Also a grocery store that had enough of the basics for us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We spent a week in the apartment. Though we are only a couple we appreciated the generous roominess that the 2/2 provided, though there is more than enough room for a family. Our greeter was lovely and provided invaluable information not only about the apartment, but also of the surrounding area as needed. (We also took advantage of booking a driver through Italy Perfect to meet us at FCO; he was on time, very pleasant, and also quite informative). The property is ideally located and that was one of the reasons we chose it; this was our 2nd time staying in this neighborhood. Both Campo Fiori and Piazza Navonna are less than 5 minutes away. The rest of central Rome is within walking distance, and public transportation was a short block away. Within the area are numerous restaurants, plenty of shopping, and some of the best pizza and gelato in Rome. The apartment itself came with a washer (and clear English instructions), plenty of linens and towels, and the kitchen is equipped with the basic necessities. The only issues we had with the apartment we fairly minor. The street can be noisy late into the night, so leaving a window open is difficult, but closed, the windows pretty much eliminated the street noise. We prefer soft pillows and, to us, the ones provided felt like rocks. Lastly, there weren’t any English speaking TV stations, especially since the satellite, or whatever connection was provided, wasn’t working. (Not that we’re home enough to watch, but it would have been nice to catch up with the news). If you are looking to book a holiday in Rome in an apartment with very generous room and an ideal location, we highly recommend this apartment.[Thank you so much, we are pleased you enjoyed the roominess of the apartment as well as the location. We have personally confirmed that there are a few English language channels available, but using the two remotes is confusing. We will ask the greeter to do a better job of explaining their operation. We will also ask that they make soft pillows available. The Italy Perfect Team]

This just might be the most perfect apartment in Rome! The location can't be beat. It's literally 1 block to Piazza Navona, and an easy walk to almost anything you want to see in the city. This was the first time I've stayed in this neighborhood and I was thrilled to discover that the apartment is in the same building as Enoteca Cul de Sac, one of our favorite places to eat and drink in Rome. I was traveling alone, but it would be a such a great apartment for a family vacation, with plenty of space for everyone. (including 2 bathrooms which is such a gift when traveling with others) Details I loved: The apartment is stunning- with lovely furnishings, art + unique architecture. The ceilings are gorgeous! The kitchen was very well equipped and I appreciated the Nespresso maker and espresso pods that the owner supplied. The master bedroom was extremely comfortable and quiet, and both of the bathrooms were newly updated and gorgeous! I appreciated the extras that were included like toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags etc. Many apartment rentals do not include these things, and it's so nice to not have to worry about them when you are traveling with Italy Perfect. Service: The team at Italy Perfect is wonderful to work with. Every detail is thought of and covered and I was so impressed with their organization and professionalism. The driver that Italy Perfect arranged for me was on time and waiting for me at the airport when I arrived. The owner of the apartment met me at the apartment to show me around and give me the keys. It was a delight to meet him! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Italy Perfect to all my friends and family. What a roomy and enjoyable apartment in the center of Rome! While I appreciate the honesty of the disclaimers concerning the noise and older bathrooms, they were not distractions at all. The windows are very well insulated allowing our exhausted party to go to bed despite the street activity going on into the wee hours of the night. Also, having air conditioners in the bedrooms made for a pleasant sleeping temperatures. Everything was spacious, allowing us to stretch out and even do some yoga in living room. The kitchen was easy to navigate, and while we just used it for breakfast and snacks, it was clean and modern with all the dishes and utensils we needed. The best part is the location. It was so easy to get to major sights, or just to walk the streets. Plenty of great places to eat nearby or grab a gelato from. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment!

The Pasquino apartment fit the bill exactly for us! The layout was comfortable, there was ample closet space, and the newly refurbished kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Having the elevator was a huge bonus as we returned every evening. Everything we could have wanted had been provided, right down to the numerous current travel books of not only Rome, but general ones of Italy and some of the other major cities. And the Italy Perfect notebook with all the helpful information was much appreciated. We'd been told that the Pasquino was right next to Piazza Navona, yet we were still pleasantly surprised at just how close it actually was. We were out daily seeing the sights and easily walked everywhere we wanted to go--never once needed to use public transportation. And, usually, cut through Piazza Navona on our way out or back--so nice to watch all that was going on each day. Finally, all the documents that were provided in advance made our planning for this trip so much easier. The thorough restaurant guide came in handy every single day. We would definitely book with Italy Perfect again and are already recommending Pat and Lisa to our friends. My husband and I stayed at the Pasquino apartment for four days in early April. It is lovely; nicely appointed, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen (although our cooking amounted to making coffee and opening wine...) The location could not be better, close to the Piazza and very near excellent public transportation that allowed us to move around Rome with local people (try the RomaBus app). We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar at the Hotel Raphael, an easy 5-7 minute walk, where we watched the sun set over the city on our final evening, a beautiful way to end our trip. Italy Perfect made the mundane details easy - recommendations for drivers to and from the airport were especially appreciated. As others have said, the location of this apartment is great. You can walk to most everything you want to do and there is a cab stand a block away for everything else. It is spacious by central city standards. The heat and hot water were very reliable, the linens are of good quality and the kitchen is adequately equipped. The dishwasher and washer/dryer worked great and were much appreciated. The furniture is adequate but showing some age/usage. As a result, the couches in the living room weren’t particularly comfortable. We had a problem with the wifi when we first arrived but it was resolved after one call. I must also say that Italy Perfect was PERFECT in helping us make plans for staying in Rome. They gave us a package of info re car drivers, tour operators, restaurants, and much, much more. We wanted to go to Pompeii on a day trip via the high speed train. Lisa gave me the name of a driver in Naples who was great and he hooked us up with a guide for Pompeii and then recommended a seafood restaurant in Naples that was great. All cheaper and more convenient than through tour companies. One caution, the street noise at night can be annoying. On Friday and Saturday night, it was party time till 2 a.m. and even on Wed and Thurs, folks stay out late. We live in Manhattan so I am used to street noise but here, because the streets are so narrow, the noise from the restaurants below really resonate in the apartment. The windows ARE very well insulated so if you close the windows, it really cuts out most of the noise but on nice evenings, I would prefer to leave the windows open. [Thank you Liz! Pasquino is a great place. It is in the heart of Rome just steps from Piazza Navona. The accommodations are spacious and well maintained. It is modern, bright and tastefully decorated. It overlooks the neighborhood restaurants and local church across the street. The street outside the window is lined with shops, eateries and grocery stores. If you are concerned about noise the windows are sound proof but open the windows and hear the sounds of people laughing and meeting with friends. IT is a neighborhood so the sounds diminish around 10 p You are a 20 min walk to the Vatican Piazza Venezia , in which several thoroughfares intersect, including the Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Via del Corso. Campo di Fiori is about 2 blocks away and there are many shops in the neighborhood worth checking out. If you want to be in the heart of Rome there is no better location. Our greeter was very nice and helpful getting us oriented with the map and local sites and necessaries, like the grocery store a few blocks away.We also had contact with the owner during our stay due to a couple of unexpected situations and all was set right quickly and efficiently and so did not negatively impact any of our plans. We loved walking around locally and apartment Pasquino had easy access to other places a little further afield because of a nearby taxi stand. We ate at many great restaurants in Rome--some small local places right by the apartment, and some further away that were still close enough to walk to. We enjoyed meals at a couple of the places the apartment overlooks with hearty food and little fanfare, and had memorable meals at the Hostaria Constanza and at Sapore di Mare to name two. --all so fresh, fresh, fresh and delicious.Rome is such an extraordinary place with so much history and many sites literally around every corner. We used Context tours and had excellent and knowledgeable guides for private tours (for our family of four it was more economical to have a private tour than pay individually for their regular small group tour.) Since it was during the crowded tourist time, the tour allowed us to pass the long lines at Colosseum and Vatican and get on with the tour. We customized our tours and they did this with no problem. It was a good decision for us and we covered a lot of ground. The tours were half day and we still had plenty of time to wander and explore on our own too. It is fun to roam about the Piazza Navona and Campo di fiori on the weekend nights when everyone is out enjoying themselves and the buskers are busy performing and everyone eating gelato. So, we recommend it all!!--Apartment Pasquino, Context Tours and the amazing city of Rome. We hope to return soon!

This apartment was a wonderful home base to explore Rome for five days. The apartment was large and comfortably accommodated our family of four. Situated near Piazza Navona in the historic center of Rome, we could walk everywhere to all the main sites.Il Fornaio (bakery), Frigidarium (gelato) and Baffetto (pizzeria), all very good and close by. The outdoor market at Campo de Fiori was fun to explore in the morning, before most tourists awoke. We would highly recommend Carolina of Your Rome Experience for a private tour of the Vatican Museum. An art historian, she focused on the main highlights of the Vatican collection and provided invaluable insight on the art. We would highly recommend this apartment and Italy Perfect. Pat and Lisa handled every detail, and were wonderful to work with!

We arrived at the apartment on Sat, arranged for early check in and from the moment we arrived everything was amazing. The apartment was located blocks from Piazza Navona as well as where you can pick up local taxis. Right outside the apartment was a restaurant called MiMi e Coco which we ate at twice, the food was amazing! Beautiful apartment, made you feel like you actually lived in rome! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at an apartment close to tourist spots...we literally walked almost everywhere.

We thuroughly enjoyed our trip to Rome. In particular we were very happy with the location of our Pasquino Apartment. The location was perfect! Great restaurants just downstairs fron the apartment and a fantastic gelato place with five minutes walk. We were two block from Piazzo Navona and 1 block from a taxi stand. The apartment was roomy and beds were good. While there we had some minor issues with low water pressure, but not really any inconvenience. The larger bathroom shower can be a bit tricky to enter and exit if you have any mobility issues and the other bathroom shower was a bit small for our son, 6'2". Other than that, very happy with apartment. I can't emphasize enough how great the location was, about half way between Vatican and the Colloseo. Great stay. [Thank you for telling us about your great stay. Apologies that you experienced the low water pressure that can be a city wide problem in Rome. The Italy Perfect Team]

Bedding worked perfect. Our family of six really enjoyed our time in Rome at the Pasquino apartment. With our four children now between the ages of 12 and 20, walking one direction to the ancient Forum, or walking the other direction to the Vatican City was quite easy. Also, the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona are practically next door.Another pleasant surprise was the close proximity to the Argentine ruins -- the location where Julius Caesar was assassinated. (On a side note: the Argentine ruins are now also a sanctuary for the city's stray cats. My kids _loved_ the cat sanctuary!) The street next to the apartment held many, many pleasant restaurants and pubs. Everything is very tourist-oriented in this area, so if you crave a less touristed environment, you might want to consider a different neighborhood. However, I recommend the Pizzeria Baffetto (very close to the apartment) to anyone. Also, close by is a Carrefour Express for groceries, and several pharmacies.Prices are more reasonable at the nearby restaurants that are not located on the Piazza Navona. I felt those restaurants were not as enjoyable and overpriced. The street does remain noisy until very late at night, so be aware if you are light sleepers. There is a Congolese church right across the street, and we loved hearing their music practices and worship. We attended the Christmas service there. (My French is not good, so I missed a lot of the sermon's details!) The apartment itself was more spacious than I was expecting for Rome, but it is still quite compact by American standards. Everything was in very good condition, and they gave us enough Nespresso capsules to get through our entire week, which is tough to do for an entire family of heavy coffee drinkers! The only actual location problem is the distance to the nearest Metro stop (the Coliseum), but like I mentioned with good walkers in the group, this is not a big deal. There is a taxi stand very close to the apartment, and I found most taxi rides to be very reasonable -- less than 10 Euro for almost every ride we took. Our biggest side trip from the downtown area was going to the Pyramide Metro stop (where there is an actual pyramid built during the time of Marc Antony) where we caught the train to Ostia Antica which is the ancient port for Rome, about a one-hour trip. The ruins at Ostia are better than Pompeii in my opinion, because they are more compact (Ostia is still a full day's exploration! It's big!), and you can get up close to almost everything. Crowds are also much smaller than Pompeii. TL; DR -- I would certainly recommend Italy Perfect and the Pasquino apartment for exploring the history of Rome [Thanks so much, David. Thank you for your recommendations. Agree on Ostia Antica! So right, that location couldn't be more central for tourism. The subway in Rome is very limited, so you can use buses, or, as you found out, taxis are convenient and reasonably priced. Please come again! The ItalyPerfect Team]

The Pasquino Apartment was the perfect "home" for our family of 4 during our stay in Rome. We could not have asked for a better location with a lively piazza as our back yard and all the wonderful sites of the Eternal City within comfortable walking distance. The apartment itself was spacious and very clean and offered all of the amenities of home, though some of the rooms, including the bathrooms, could benefit from some updating. There is something very special about visiting a city, exploring and enjoying all it has to offer, then feeling so at "home" at the end of each amazing day. We would definitely recommend the Pasquino Apartment and Italy Perfect to our friends. Lisa graciously answered all our questions before our trip. Our greeter was helpful and friendly. We were given a choice to stay at Pasquino since the common halls and outside of the building were being restored or go to another residence in the Veneto area at the expense of Italy Perfect. We chose to stay at Pasquino during the restoration because we enjoy this centralized area of Rome is close to most of the monuments and museums we can easily walk to. There are many good resturants, bakeries, gelato shops, and Campo dei Fiori where one can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables & meats. The apartment is very accommodating: two bedrooms, two baths, wonderful eat-in kitchen & dining room. There were a number of English speaking channels on the TV and some of the Italian channels were interesting as well. The owner and host was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you Joe for all your help. We heartily recommend Pasquino. [We are so pleased you opted to stay at Pasquino during the recent exterior facade restoration work. The Pasquino Property was everything advertised and then some. My family of 5 felt completely comfortable, like a home away from home. We could leave the apartment and walk anywhere in Rome. Piazza Novona being in our backyard. Even better all financial transactions we're completed in U.S. Dollars and well ahead of our arrival. This is unlike some rentals that want a wad of local currency in hand when you arrive. Lisa answered all of our questions before we arrived, and our greeter answered all local questions. Stephano Car was a great service, grabbed our bags and took us right from the airport to our apartment, and was waiting outside the door when we left for home. I highly recommend Italy Perfect to anyone.

The Pasquino apartment, near Piazza Navona, is a beautifully furnished apartment with plenty of space that is very well kept. But its main advantage is its spectacular location, such that all of the major sites in Rome are within walking distance, while the apartment itself is very quiet. Given that much of the interesting activity in Rome happens fairly late in the evening by our standards, it was nice to go straight from being at the heart of activity to bed in only a few minutes. Baffetto Pizzeria, nearby, is excellent for very reasonable quality pizza (better than some of the other local tourist traps) but always has a queue - suggest turning up at opening time. The gelateria opposite it (Frigidarium) was the best we found in Rome, but it appears that others have found it too as it also often has queues. I strolled each morning to Il Fornaio (the bakery just on the other side of the main road) to pick up pastries for breakfast, and by the third visit they were recognising me and treating me as a regular, which is always nice. The presence of a nespresso machine in the apartment was greatly appreciated. Finally, there was some necessary building maintenance done during the period we stayed, but Italy Perfect kept in touch with us about what was going on and worked hard to make sure we weren't put out by this. Overall, strong recommend.

The Pasquino apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean, roomy, and conveniently located. As a family with two teenagers, we appreciated the two bathrooms, two bedrooms and all the room in the apartment. No complaints on the wifi speed from the teenagers. Our greeter was very helpful in showing us the apartment, appliances and neighborhood. The location could not be beat. We were right around the corner from Piazza Navona, a mile away from the Vatican and a little over a mile to the Colosseum. We walked everywhere! Plenty of restaurants and gelato shops right outside the door. The grocery store is very close and so is Campo de' Fiore. It was so nice to have some staples in the apartment. Taxi stand was close by for our longer trip to the catacombs. We miss hearing the nightly accordion music from the restaurants below. We felt safe in neighborhood. Enjoyed all the restaurants. We ate at the restaurants at Piazza Pasquino (right outside the door), Piazza Navona, Piazza Rotunda (Pantheon) and Campo de' Fiore. Note worthy restaurants - Piazza Pasquino : Cul de Sac, Pizzeria di Baffetto; Campo de' Fiore - Obica. We would recommend Italy Perfect to a friend and we will use them again for our next Italy trip. Italy Perfect was easy to work with, supplied great trip planning resources and answered all my questions during the planning process. We used one of transportation services recommended by Italy Perfect, Stefano. Their drivers were friendly and prompt. Thanks to Italy Perfect and the Pasquino apartment we had an awesome trip. Overall, the accommodations were very nice and the apartment was very spacious. There are some areas of the apartment that although clean appeared dated and in need of a cosmetic update. The stairwells, staircases and basement where the garbage cans were located were in need of a good cleaning - they appeared quite dirty. The location was perfect! The apartment was centrally located and walking distance to most everything. I would recommend 'Da Emma' for a simple but quaint meal - and very good pizza! We also enjoyed Campo di Fiore and the market that set up there each morning. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend. Grazie mille! [We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and the great location. We stayed as a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children aged 6, 7 &14 in Jan 2015. The apartment was very spacious - especially for Europe - and very comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom was separated from the rest of the apartment by a small walk through wardrobe, essentially making this a parents retreat. The beds are firm, but this seems to be normal for Europe. The 2 bathrooms are always a bonus and the washer / dryer instructions easy to read and use. The kitchen is full size and well equipt with a separate dining area within, as well as another dining table in the large lounge area. One of the lounges converted to a bed, but we chose to use the 3 single beds in the second bedroom so I'm not sure how comfortable this would be to sleep on. We found all the main sights were in walking distance (with a 6 year old) and there are so many restaurants right outside the door we were not able to try them all! There is a grocery store a short walk away too. We also used Italy Perfects recommendations for a driver to pick us up and also for a tour guide. I would highly recommend them both - Rocco for the transfers and Cristina as a tour guide. She got us into places you wouldn't be able to go if you just went by yourself, and she also gave the 2 smaller children work books to help keep them engaged. Giuseppe speaks excellent English and was very helpful - giving us a thorough run down of how everything works. there is also a good information pack in the apartment along with maps and guide books. The heaters worked very well and we would definitely stay here again. The only negative was there seems to be a hospital nearby and we could hear sirens quite regularly, but in saying that you could hear them all day in the centre of Rome no matter where you were. We have used Paris Perfect a number of times before and they have not disappointed here with their Rome accommodation. 9/10!

Perfect location, perfect atmosphere. Everything about this apartment is a positive. It felt like we were living in a Rome neighborhood within walking distance of all the famous sites. It was a blast to get up in the morning and walk down the street to the local cheese shop, the local meat shop and the local bakery to pick up our breakfast fare. Then we would spend the day sightseeing and return late afternoon to a relaxing glass of wine in the apartment. Then around 7:30 or 8 we would head out for our evening meal and had so many choices of wonderful restaurants it was hard to choose. The good thing we were never disappointed! I don't know where to begin!!! We have been to Rome 4 times but never renting an apartment, we always stayed in hotels. We did the math and decided since we were bringing the entire family (5 in all) it was more economical to rent. The Pasquino apartment was perfect. We hired Stefano for our transfers. Stefano was very prompt in returning all our emails (we even booked him for a day trip to Pompei!). Our greeter was so personal, he showed us everything in the apartment. We sat at the kitchen table and talked (english was perfect) at length about the area and places to eat. He wanted to explain how to run the washer and dishwasher, I assured him I was not doing any laundry or cooking, I too was on vacation! My husband and I had the king bed and the 3 "young adults" (18,19 and 25) shared the other. We walked everywhere!! The Pasquino apartment is very centrally located. Everything was perfect!! I would rent this apartment again!!

There was a grocery store down a block or so away, and the Campo di Fiori was very close too. It was wonderful to have some food at home for the little ones. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect (and have already done so) to friends. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating through the whole process. Two tips - Italy Perfect had recommended we bring face clothes and extra shampoo, conditioner, etc., and while I could have gotten it there, bringing it saved some hassle.

by Kathy Troidle Jackson
My sisters are calling this week in Rome the trip of a lifetime! Pasquino could not have been better for the 7 of us despite my worry that it wouldn't be large enough. Although there were three in the small bedroom they were all sisters and the beds were very comfortable, including the trundle. Nobody spent much time in there awake anyway. The skinny teenagers slept on the pullout couch and that too was just right for them. They stayed up later than everyone else and there were two doors between us and the living room. We heard nothing in the master bedroom. The windows really shut out the noise and although it is a lively area, no sleep was impacted. The two clean updated bathrooms with showers were a bonus. We were short one large towel but David just used hand towels and let us girls have the large ones. The area where the apartment is was our favorite part of Rome and after sightseeing elsewhere all were thrilled to come back to the apartment, we found great restaurants, wine bars, nightlife and shopping just steps from the apartment. The kitchen was a great gathering place.....beautifully spotless, clean and renovated. We didn't cook there but could have if we wanted to......all amenities were there. The Nespresso machine was a godsend and with seven of us, all the supply of espresso cups went by the end of the week. We could not find where to get more ..... Maybe that can be added to the book of instructions. The younger crowd walked everywhere....those of us with knee issues used the elevator and taxis. Very convenient!!!! Pat from ItalyPerfect helped me talk through options in advance and made suggestions of things to do that topped our list of favorite spots. Domus Romane is not to be missed and reserve early for the English speaking tours. The Pantheon after dark is spectacular. Caroline Vincenti was the best tour guide of the Vatican and Villa Borghese having written three books on art history. She helped us skip things that aren't as important and focus on the best of each. her husband is a food critic in Rome so her restaurant suggestions are better than any guide book. Viator made booking tours in advance easy but were more expensive than booking directly with Dark Rome or others once you are there. The car service Pat recommended to and from the airport - Stefano - was awesome and they do trips to Pompeii for much cheaper than we paid Viator to arrange. Avoid large bus touring and go for the small group van size tours. Hop on hop off buses are a good way to get acclimated to the area if you want to stay on and ride around town but in rome they don't make many stops. Our favorite restaurants near the apartment were Cul de Sac, Cantine e Cucina, Pace de la Palate. Night life spots that were the younger crowd favorites were Bar Del Fico and Mimi e Coco. Thank you to ItalyPerfect, our tour guides, and the wonderful friendly people in Italy for making this such a fabulous destination!! I will highly recommend Pasquino and Italy Perfect to all looking for accomodations in rome and will not hesitate to book a trip to another city using ItalyPerfect.

Apartment Pasquino was spacious and comfortable.  It had everything we needed for our month’s stay, and since I like to cook, I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen.  Our greeter met us at our arrival, explained the workings of the apt, and afterward came right away to open a shutter that was stuck closed, thus giving me yet another window to enjoy the passing scene in the piazza below.     In easy walking distance we found lots of restaurants, stores, a nearby supermarket, and so close, Piazza Navona, touristy and carnival-like these days, but nevertheless splendid.      As to eating, a few doors from the apartment on the main drag, via del Governo Vecchio, and a few steps from the corner bookstore, is a superior sandwich shop with a variety of choices listed on the wall, all made fresh to order.  Try the artichoke spread.  Further up, on the same side of the street, is a moderately priced trattoria, Gino e Pietro, serving traditional Roman dishes.  They make a nice saltimbocca.  And look for the eatery right in the piazza, Cul de Sac, known for its meat and cheese specialties, and wines from all over the world.     If you have an interest in art, you won’t want to miss La Chiesa San Luigi dei Francesi, which has two Caravaggio paintings, and is only a short walk from the apt.  Only a block or two from there is another Caravaggio in La Chiesa di San Agostino.  Several museums in the immediate neighborhood are worth seeing, especially Palazzo/Museo Altemps, with its collection of Greek and Roman antiquities.     Our days were busy, so much to see and do, and in the evenings we had the further pleasure of strolling in and out of the lively streets surrounding the apt. This is our second rental with ItalyPerfect.  How nice for us!

We have stayed in apartments in Rome before as we prefer the space and convenience of a kitchen. This apartment was located just steps from Piazza Navonna and other sites. Nice grocery right down the street and restaurants etc all nearby. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was the best we have ever had in a European apartment. Definately would recommend to anyone looking for 2 bedroom apt. in Rome. The check in was easy and quick and there was a book with lots of info on the dining room table. The only downside was there was quite a bit of noise outside at night (until 2 -3 am one night) from the restaurants downstairs. Of course we had the windows open since it was perfect weather for that so it could have been a bit quieter with them closed. The street right outside the door needs to be repaired as there are large holes making it difficult to get inside the door. The elevator worked great (small of course) and it was nice we were the only apt on that floor. Worked great for my MIL who is mobiity challenged and cant walk far or long and cant do stairs well. I would stay here again on future stays. And Pat was awesome to book and work with answering all my questions quickly and efficiently. Thank you for a great stay - C Henry [Thanks so much, Cheryl. Great guest. For future guests; the windows are special noise cancelling type and will eliminate street noise if you close them. The holes in the cobblestones have been reported to the city.]

The apartment was ideally located in the historic center of Rome, and we were able to walk to most major attractions of the city. The apartment was clean and well furnished. While we did not cook in the apartment it appeared to be set up just fine. There were just too many good restaurants nearby. It was nice to have a large refrigerator for the essentials and milk for breakfast, though. Pat gave us great guidance on the apartment and the overall service was terrific. We loved Piazza Navona and ate in several of the restaurants there. At night it was alive with performance artists and people out for a stroll. Our son was especially pleased because at the Irish Pub just down the street he was able to watch his beloved Vikings play football one evening, even though they lost! Pasquino Review

by Family of Five
We loved staying at the Pasquino apartment in Rome! The ambiance of the little Piazza Pasquino was so charming! We enjoyed going to one of the many wine bars every evening for a bottle of wine and then out to dinner at another spot in the little square. Everything was so good! We thought it was a great location for everything. Taxis were easy to find if you needed one. We took a taxi to the Colosseum (and walked back) and to the airport. Otherwise we walked everywhere. Rome is a very walkable city and Piazza Navona is very easy to find (lots of signs). We were very glad we chose this apartment. We recommend it to anyone staying in Rome.

Pasquino Review

by Arbella
I wanted to give you our feedback on our stay in your apartment in Rome. We found it quite roomy and cheerful with everything we needed. The location was wonderful and close to everything. ..it was a bit noisy at night if one were trying to fall asleep but no one in our family complained. We loved our stay and look forward to returning!
