Monbazillac

The property, though small, was exactly as advertised, extremely comfortable and attractively decorated. We generally choose to stay on one of the two sister islands on the Seine when we're in Paris as they tend to be quieter and less trafficked at night. The flat came with all the amenities we could want for our weeklong stay and the outdoor terrace was especially appreciated as the weather was lovely and it was wonderful to sit and look out at the activity in the Place below. The bed and bedding were first-rate and the plumbing and electrical completely reliable. Having a lift, almost unheard of in these older buildings, was a real asset. The only criticism I can make is about the scarcity of storage space for clothing and luggage. There are two armoires provided in the bedroom but they are a bit too shallow to close the doors when filled with hanging garments and the room is too small for proper nightstands beside the bed. That said, we would definitely book one of these flats again and can only assume the rest of the properties these owners represent are equally as lovely and well-maintained.

We had a lovely stay in the Monbazillac apartment for our return trip to Paris. We were there the first week of April, beautiful weather and so nice to have the terrace doors open and enjoy sounds of the place below. Apartment is exactly as pictured, one thing to note the stairs are steep. The bed is extremely comfortable and having 2 bathrooms makes getting ready so much easier. Our check-in process couldn’t have been easier, we will definitely use Paris Perfect again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the experience through "Paris Perfect" for this trip. The local staff for the building were friendly and super accommodating. The apartment was precisely as pictured, just a jewel of an apartment. It is a perfect location for a local Parisian experience. I look forward to experiencing some of their other apartments in the future.

 

Place Dauphine is a historic building and an ideal location for your Paris vacation. Good layout with the bedroom downstairs and living/dining/kitchen on the second floor. The views from the apartment are quaint and the balcony has a nice cozy space for sitting outside. One night I even heard a free jazz concert from the window! As a frequent guest of Paris Perfect this is one of the best locations and units of which I have stayed.

The apartment made you feel as though you were a Parisienne. Everything was as promised and met or exceeded expectations. Our greeter was waiting for us when we arrived and made sure everything was taken care of. Finally, but only one of the things that made it great, the lovely 5th floor balcony overlooking the Place Dauphine was the epitome of Paris romantic.

It was a great value and we enjoyed every minute. It was wonderful to have the upstairs living space with the balcony and the downstairs bedroom with two separate bathrooms. Perfect for one couple.

Our sojourn in Monbazillac, with its wonderful outdoor space allowing a view of a Notre Dame spire and the construction cranes, more than met our expectations. Tucked within an enclosed triangular hideaway in the heart of Paris away from the throng of tourists, 25 Place Dauphine is entirely operated by Paris Perfect. The living space was cozy, charming, and comfortable. Steps from Pont Neuf, both right and left bank sites are easily accessible by foot with minutes. For international guests arriving in the early morning to Paris the on-site luggage storage facility (including a bathroom) and hospitable lobby with comfortable lounge chairs provide extra benefits while awaiting the midafternoon check in. Be prepared for the spiral staircase connecting the two levels. While the bathrooms are small, having 1.5 baths mitigates the inconvenience. Can’t wait to return.

I go to Paris 1-2 times a year and this will now be my new go to. The apartment is absolute perfection. I am afraid to say this because I don’t want too many people to know about it. The place feels like my own home away from home in Paris. Everything is so comfortable. The location is fantastic. The bakery downstairs fed me every day.

This location was not only beautiful but so centrally located it made visiting the right or left bank very easy. The flat was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was as described. I would stay here again.

 

We loved our stay in Paris! We were greeted warmly and had the most welcoming apartment. It was a peaceful haven in the midst of a vibrant city. This made our trip truly unforgettable!

25th anniversary trip. If you want a quiet, stylish, clean, cozy, safe place in the middle of Paris, in the Seine, this is it. Perfect for a couple (we think too tight for more). We have been watching everything we can find filmed in Paris and we see the Place Dauphine and Ile De La Cite in everything and remark what an amazing location it is. We intend to go back for the next round of Museum visits -- apartment is 12-15 minutes from both D'orsay and Louvre and eggs benedict at St. Regis cafe on Ile De St. Louis, right up the river. We thought about a hotel but you just can't beat more square footage (hotel rooms are super tiny) and it has 2 bathrooms, an irreplaceable feature to maintain harmony and bliss. In short, we were very impressed. Shout out to our greeter, Ida, for helping us "remember" our codes. Also, fresh bread arrives daily and, yes, the French make better bread.

Excellent location, beautifully appointed. Met most of my expectations as it was my 2nd time with PP. One thing I would add to all properties is a high quality lighted mirror. For most women, it is a necessity, especially in Paris.

This was a wonderful vacation. The balcony was superb and we walked daily. No need to take the train or a cab.

We loved our stay with Paris Perfect. The location was gorgeous and the little balcony was the icing on the cake. The apartment has plenty of charm plus modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plus the host put together an impressive booklet with information about not only the apartment but also the neighborhood and public transportation. The only thing I would emphasize is that the internal staircase is definitely tight - narrow and somewhat steep, and the bathrooms are also tight - all worked great for us, but may not for everyone.

Absolutely lovely stay. The welcome bottle of wine was perfect to start our visit sitting on the terrace. Perfect location near everything, either walking or public bikes with amazing, safe bike lanes. We felt like locals and did not want to leave. We will absolutely stay with Paris Perfect on our next visit. The stay was so wonderful, we hope to visit again very soon!

 

Phenomenal location. The whole building is owned by Paris Perfect and so it is customized for short term stays. The square is exceptional with restaurants and an excellent pastry shop downstairs. The only caveat is make sure you are small and healthy! The stairs to the balcony are extremely narrow. Also the place is very small, much smaller than we expected from the pictures, although absolutely perfect for us as a couple. We loved it!! Highly recommend Paris Perfect!!!!

Perfect stay!

The apartment is beautiful and is in a great location. An easy walk to multiple metro/rer stations as well as great restaurants and sights like the Notre Dame and the Louvre. The courtyard outside the apartment is also a great area to grab a drink in the afternoon and see many locals come play games in the park. The stairs within the apartment from the bedroom to the kitchen/living room area are a bit narrow and steep so if you have mobility issues they may be difficult to navigate.

This well appointed, clean and comfortable property is perfectly located in the heart of Paris. Walkable to anywhere you want to go in the city. Would highly recommend to anyone who asks me where they should stay when visiting Paris.

Truly the most beautiful Airbnb experience I have ever had. The pictures do not do this Airbnb justice - everything is pristine, beautiful, and thoughtfully laid out. This is a cute Parisian flat, in a perfect location and we loved every moment of our stay. The Paris Perfect Team was a joy to work with and they were so responsive to our questions. The house guide was so thorough and we greatly appreciated how much work went into making sure our stay was perfect. The flat itself was lovely. 2 stories with a lovely balcony. It is modern and had every amenity we could ever want. The bed was comfy enough and we loved having 2 bathrooms. The upstairs living room with the kitchen was one of our favorite places to relax and we didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much, Paris Perfect!!

The apartment is in a privileged location, close to everything! The area is quiet and felt very safe. Beds are comfy, and there’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. Information was very clear and staff on the other side of the phone were helpful and polite. The welcome basket was greatly appreciated and enjoyed!

What a gem! We can’t say enough good things about our experience! From the communication prior to our arrival to the location and the flat itself, 10/10 recommend! AND it has an elevator…for those of us who tend to overpack 🙂

Magical Monbazillac! This was our second time staying in this elegant apartment and there was something wonderfully assuring (especially during these uncertain Covid times) about knowing just what awaited us. First and foremost, the balcony overlooking Place Dauphine. Even in November, we were able to enjoy several apéros and daily Parisiens-watching out there. On a practical level, we love that Monbazillac has a full kitchen, extra half-bath, and is set on two floors, in case one person needs to work or catch up on some sleep. The elegant furnishings and location on Île de la Citè just made everything feel that much more special. On a side note, we took many recommendations from the Paris Perfect neighborhood guide, including grocery shopping at Picard. (Tip: the spinach and goat cheese tarts were especially delicious.) We’re so glad that we were able to make Paris, and Monbazillac, our first overseas destination since Covid and we can’t wait to return.

The apartment was perfect for our week-long holiday. Super clean, so well designed, incredible position. We spent many hours just sitting on our small balcony with wine and charcuterie boards taking in the sights, sounds, smells of Paris! We will definitely return the next time we need our "Paris Fix"! We loved this apartment - it is fully outfitted, from the kitchen right down to international adaptors for charging our phones, lots of books on Paris, washer and dryer, underbed storage for our luggage. It is very tastefully decorated and in an ideal location on the charming Place Dauphine. We look forward to returning!

What an apartment. I stayed here for 3 months in the spring and enjoyed the stay immensely. The Paris Perfect crew is very helpful with any queries, the apartment is well maintained and the view is insane (overlooking the famous Place Dauphine and Notre Dame in the distance). For a central Paris apartment this location is very quiet. Everything you might need is within a 10 minute walking distance including great food right outside the doorstep. The balcony has sun from sunrise to 2pm which was such a treat. As a solo traveler the apartment and area felt safe. The only thing I regret is not extending my stay.

The place is nicely organized. Very functional and comfortable. Location is superb, with many shops nearby. Perfect for me to go to work or working from home. Thanks a lot to the whole team who always replied fast. Special thanks to Virgile who is always there for my issues and very responsive.

A stunning apartment, very similar to others we've enjoyed previously at this Place Dauphine property. Location is idyllic and super-convenient to everything. No issues at all aside from a TV which was somewhat complicated to operate. Hospitality was also extremely friendly and efficient.

Our stay was Fantastic! We chose Paris Perfect once again and were not surprised that our stay was as good as we expected. We had our tickets to the Da Vinci exhibit for months and staying at Place Dauphine only enhanced our Louvre experience. Joseph greeted us warmly and we even had Victor himself as our driver !!!! The apartment was absolutely perfect and we had days with sunshine to enjoy the terrace! We will choose to use Paris Perfect the next trip for sure!!!!!

Monbazillac is a fantastic apartment for two people, and it's located in a beautiful square, convenient for visiting anywhere in Paris! The apartment has a wonderful balcony overlooking Place Dauphine and is well furnished with all the kitchen equipment, crockery etc you are likely to need. We had a truly fabulous stay here and intend to return, as we don't believe it would be possible to find a better apartment in Paris for our future visits.

Great location. Perfect distance to all the main sites and neighborhoods. Very modern and clean. Added touches of coffee and fresh bread every morning was wonderful!! Bedroom very small and tight quarters but to be expected. Would be nice to have conditioner provided as well as shampoo. Would recommend to others.

We had great time in Monbazillac. It is perfectly positioned so you can go on foot to Louvre, Orsay, Opera Garnier or even Champs Elysees. Apartment is small, but with everything you need for your stay. It is spotlessly clean. In the morning you can find a bread in the lobby waiting for you. If you don't wanna eat at home, then just step outside and pick between 3 restaurants on the tranquil square. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Place Dauphine. Early June was just warm enough for us to enjoy the balcony of our top-floor apartment. Place Dauphine is a magical square in Paris and the evening light as the sun sets makes it sparkle. The location was so perfect for both right and left bank activities. And although our apartment was narrow and on 2 floors, the designers have made great use of the space and once we unpacked and tucked our suitcase under the beds, there was good room to enjoy the apartment, especially the balcony, where we had morning breakfast (thanks for the free baguette delivery each morning Paris Perfect!) and afternoon or evening drinks and snacks. We even picked up premade dinner at Francart Maison Gourmande on 30 Rue Dauphin and warmed it up in the modern kitchen and had dinner on the balcony one night. Another night we went to the same place to pick up food (the food was so good; thanks for the tip Virgile) and picnicked on the Seine, one of our favorite things to do. And since the apartment is right off Pont Neuf, you can even see the Eiffel Tower from there, so the picnicking spots are ideal! If you continue on Rue Dauphine on the Left Bank, you eventually get Rue du Buci. Make a right and a Nicolas wine store and a supermarket (and Paul's bakery that serves great coffee to go) are all in striking distance. We love the Left Bank, so this apartment kept us in the neighborhood we adore. We soooo want to return someday. Maybe in the off-season when prices go down. We splurged this time because it was our 25th wedding anniversary and we had honeymooned in Paris! This was our second Paris Perfect apartment. They are top-notch and never disappoint!

Absolute jewel of apartment. The small kitchen has great appliances. All furnishings are beautiful. The location is easy to get to both Left and Right banks. We would rent this apartment again.

We LOVED the location in Place Dauphine! The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed having or morning coffee on the balcony. The freshly delivered baguettes each morning were wonderful. We will definitely be back.

The apartment is impeccably decorated and pristine. The sheets and towels are of high quality, and the kitchen provided all the basics one might need. The location, on a quiet square, provides a calm retreat that is perfect for exploring neighborhoods on both the Left and Right Banks. It was an ideal apartment for my adult daughter and me. (My husband, who did not travel with us, might have had difficulty managing the narrow spiral staircase linking the two floors.) The history of the building is fascinating. Paris Perfect did an amazing job of renovating the entire building. I am certain that every apartment in this building is wonderful and would book one of the Place Dauphine apartments on my next trip. I also highly recommend Victor's Cabs for transportation to and from the airport. We carefully read Paris Perfect's recommended things to do and enjoyed taking the Batobus instead of the Metro as a novel way to navigate the city via the Seine.

Place Dauphine is a beautiful, modern property, tucked away and private while in the middle of it all in the city of lights. As first time visitors it was a great place to get to many of Paris' most iconic sites - close to the Metro and walking distance to many attractions. Virgile was very helpful and responsive as was the entire Paris Perfect team. Cannot recommend this highly enough! We would definitely stay again.

Our 5 night stay in Monbazillac was just wonderful. The location is unbeatable - central to everything and very quiet. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated. We loved having 2 bathrooms - made getting ready so easy. The oversized queen bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you could need. They provided us with milk, juice, wine, Nespresso pods, assorted teas and jams, and each morning a delivery of fresh baguette. From the balcony you could catch a glimpse of the Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame. As others have noted, the narrow circular stairs could be an issue for some, but it was fine for us. We loved returning 'home' each day to this little slice of heaven! And ours was truly a last minute trip - we booked the apartment 6 days before arriving! All our dealings with the Paris Perfect team were perfect! Highly recommend!

The location is the best in Paris for walking all over the city. The building is beautiful and well run....everything works and fresh baguettes are delivered each morning. This particular apartment is VERY small and best for a short stay.

A perfect apartment. Quiet location, but with easy access to both Metro and bus lines. Ma Salle a Manger was a great dining reference (we ate there 3 times in our week). The complimentary daily baguette was a pleasant surprise. A glass of wine on the balcony a perfect Parisian way to cap off the day.

This apartment was amazing and perfect in so many ways! The location is hard to beat with everything Paris has to offer at your fingertips. The views from the 6th story balcony are rare and mesmerizing. The space itself is very well equipped with everything a person could need for their stay. Space is a luxury in Paris and this apartment is thoughtfully laid out so that all the space is utilized is a very easy manner. I truly hope I can stay at the Monbazillac again!

The apartment was great right on Place Dauphin so no traffic noise. The one issue was the very narrow circular staircase. If you have any difficulty with stairs, you should think twice about this particular apartment. The staff was terrific. Prior to our arrival we received an information packet that was very helpful and prompt responses to our questions. We drove into Paris after a few days touring in the Burgundy Region. Virgile contacted us by phone to coordinate our arrival time and was waiting for us as we drove up. One unexpected but very nice touch was the fresh baguettes waiting for us in the lobby every morning. The location of the apartment was perfect - steps from the Pont Neuf and an easy walk to the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and many restaurants and patiserries. We have been to Paris many times and will use Parisperfect for all future trips. Paul

I feel like I have found a true gem in Paris Perfect! From making the vacation planning not only effortless, but fun -- to the ease of our making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable -- to the actual apartment itself, the entire experience was well, "perfect"! I love the "one-stop shopping" of Paris Perfect with not only lodging, but experience and service planning as well. Plus, our Monbazillac apartment in Place Dauphine was in the absolute ideal location in Paris, just steps away from the best bistros, Saint Chapelle, Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Seine, the Metro, the list goes on and on...The apartment itself was beautifully appointed, yet very homey and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and hearing the bells of Notre Dame and also the saxophone occasionally and expertly played by a neighbor across the way. It felt very Parisian! My daughter and I appreciated the great communications before, during and after our trip that included a lovely welcome from Virgile upon our arrival. All amenities in the apartment were thought through and greatly appreciated as well and we often relied on the Paris Perfect recommendations and literature to plan our days. We will absolutely be back and will ONLY use Paris Perfect -- in fact, I feel at this point I only want to travel to locations where Madelyn has properties! This is the only way I want to travel from now on! Thanks Paris Perfect!

What a great last minute getaway. We went for my wife's 66 birthday. Paris Perfect was the best we have dealt with on our 9th trip to Paris. From their airport arranged pick up, to being greeted by their great rep. Virgel . (Whenever we needed him, he was there). The location was so central that we were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go without the need for public transportation. The apartment was great, a two story with air conditioning, one and half baths and comfortable second floor with a kitchenette , TV and great balcony. The balcony gave us a great view overlooking the Place De Dauphane. Thank you

We had an outstanding stay at Monbazillac in Place Dauphine. Our greeter Virgile was ready and waiting for us. He took his time and was very informative. The apartment building is gorgeous. It's hard to explain what a slice of heaven Place Dauphine is. When we turned the corner from Pont Neuf into the square after a day of sight seeing, it was like walking into paradise. A calm came over us! The apartment itself was perfection. Not a detail was overlooked. It was perfect for 2 people. Appliances were top of the line--all functioned flawlessly. Sheets and towels were luxurious. Having the 1/2 bath was great for getting ready in the morning. Gorgeous furnishings. We spent hours on the balcony taking in Place Dauphine--cafes, lovers, dog walkers and bocce ball players. So peaceful. Fresh baguettes were delivered daily at 7a in the lobby for residents to help themselves. It was without question the most relaxing vacation ever. It was our 5th time in Paris and our 2nd stay with Paris Perfect. I can't imagine staying with anyone else. They are outstanding in every way. We will be back to Paris and will definitely stay in the Monbazillac apartment again. Also--we recommend Victor Cabs. Our 2nd time using them. Excellent service. We also recommend Travel Wifi which we found through ParisPerfect.com. We reserved and prepaid online prior to the trip and picked up the device our 1st day. Was easy to find, centrally located, great group of people. Awesome being connected to wifi everywhere we went.

I am a travel consultant and my clients, William and Paula, are not yet home from France but they already told me that they absolutely LOVED the apartment and said when they go back to Paris, they'd love to stay there all over again! As a travel consultant, I was extremely impressed by all of the pertinent and interesting information you supplied to both the clients and to me. You can be sure that I will always think of you first when clients want apartments in Paris or London!!

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for four nights in early March. When we departed, it was with heavy hearts. The apartment is very comfortable, perfectly sized and well appointed for two people, and beautifully situated within the Il de la Cite area of Paris within the Place Dauphine. It is set on a quiet street within a block of Pont Neuf, and just a few blocks from the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral. The apartment is quite beautiful and included combo washer/ dryer, all the kitchen appliances needed on vacation, and a very comfortable queen sized bed. We loved the storage in the dressers adjoining the bed, along with the built in nooks for phones, glasses, etc. The winding staircase from one level to the next was very narrow and steep, and might not work for those with gait / walking challenges. The balcony was great as it overlooked the courtyard and even though we had limited opportunity to use it due to bad weather, it is a very nice amenity. There are quite a few restaurants nearby and we enjoyed a dinner at Restaurant Paul which is right down the street. Property managers were responsive.

Couldn't have had a better experience. The apartment exceeded our expectations....staff couldn't have been more helpful. The decorated comfort of the apartment was terrific. As was the location. Would only use Paris Perfect for further Paris/London travel.The only thing to note about Monbazilliac is the steep staircase inside that might be challenging for some....

Just wanted to report back on our wonderful stay at Monbazillac. It was as perfect as Paris Perfect is! The design elements, the location and mostly the help of the staff...especially Virgile. He gave us such a god start in the apartment ...showing us all its features and then checking in on us occasionally . Very kind and helpful. He so well represents your company. You can be sure that we will be recommending Paris Perfect to any and all of our friends going to Paris ( and maybe London ? ) . I've rented many times in Paris and this was the best apartment I've had. Well appointed and in a tremendous location. Best for 2 people.

Our apartment was a beautiful home away from home and we miss it dearly. The location was central and fantastic. Place Dauphine is so beautiful and special, and we loved the view from the bedroom and living room. The Paris rooftops and park was truly the best we have enjoyed in all 6 times we have stayed in Paris. The apartment kitchen and appliance left nothing to be desired. Having an extra powder room was so practical for two people getting ready.We will be staying here again!

The location was magnificent. Close to everything yet facing a quiet courtyard. The apartment was beautiful and newly refurbished. Terrace view a real benefit. There is a tight spiral staircase going to the second floor within the apartment, would not be good for someone with limited mobility. Paris Perfect lived up to their name. The apartment, their staff and service levels were all five stars.

Delightfully charming little flat on Ile de la Cite--great location for all that Paris has to offer. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, the perfect refuge after a long day of walking. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

My mom and I stayed at the gorgeous Monbazillac apartment for a girls trip and absolutely loved it! The historic building was recently fully renovated and the location is in the best area of Paris. The central location allowed us to walk to everything, but the best part was coming home to one of Paris' oldest and most charming squares. Our mornings started with cafee & croissants on the balcony and our evenings ended with wine & cheese watching the sun set. We loved just taking in the peacefulness of Place Dauphine after a long day of exploring the bustling city. My mom and I discovered a lot of beautiful areas of Paris, but we both agreed that Place Dauphine was certainly a hidden gem that we cannot wait to return to. The Paris Perfect team was fantastic from start to finish and helped us create a very memorable trip!
