Absolutely loved staying at Borgo.

We absolutely LOVED staying at Borgo. The Tiglio apartment was perfect for our family of 4, my husband and I and our 2 adult children. The setting was idyllic, could not have asked for a better introduction to the Tuscan countryside. The grounds are expansive and a swim in the pool was so refreshing. Our host was incredibly welcoming and so helpful to us in recommending restaurants, and even called around for us to book reservations. We were pleased to find in the kitchen, a welcome basket--bottle of wine, loaf of bread, meat and cheese and of course, olive oil from the estate. We were lucky enough to have the olive oil tasting dinner the first night we arrived. It was such a pleasure to meet the owner, and hear about the estate and the oils produced there. Our stay was much too short as we spent most days exploring the countryside, but it was so nice to come home to Tiglio at the end of the day. The whole time we kept talking about going back with extended family. I would highly recommend this property! We also booked another property with Italy perfect, which was also wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to book any property through Italy Perfect. It was easy and perfect, start to finish!

Borgo Tiglio Review

We loved our stay there, and Lorena, who was essentially our concierge, was delightful and so helpful. Traveling most of the day and arriving late in the afternoon, it was really nice to have the basics already on hand when we got there. We were invited to dinner onsite later that night with the other guests, and it was absolutely superb: some of the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life. It’s also very centrally located to some of our favorite Italian wine regions (Montepulciano, Montalcino).

Our 1st visit to Tuscany was a dream and a must return to Borgo Tiglio! This amazing stone farmhouse was a true experience of Tuscan life with gorgeous grounds and views. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, well equipped with everything needed when we arrived and for our 3 night stay.....we only wish we had friends with us to enjoy this experience and wished we could have stayed longer. Lorena was most helpful and gracious helping us with directions to wine tasting, beautiful hilltop village exploring, wonderful restaurants and assistance when we most needed help-car trouble!! When in a foreign country for the 1st time, it is reassuring to know that a local is there for you, thank you Lorena! The location of Borgo is convenient to visit the walled hilltop villages, all within 20-60 minutes. Restaurants are 5-10 minutes close by. We enjoyed a true Tuscan homemade dinner, provided by our hosts and felt very welcomed and well taken care of. The vast grounds of Borgo are so relaxing, so beautiful and we look forward in spending a longer stay there next visit. Our visit was beyond our expectations, thank you!
