Absolutely loved staying at Borgo.

by Nancy F

We absolutely LOVED staying at Borgo. The Tiglio apartment was perfect for our family of 4, my husband and I and our 2 adult children. The setting was idyllic, could not have asked for a better introduction to the Tuscan countryside. The grounds are expansive and a swim in the pool was so refreshing. Our host was incredibly welcoming and so helpful to us in recommending restaurants, and even called around for us to book reservations. We were pleased to find in the kitchen, a welcome basket--bottle of wine, loaf of bread, meat and cheese and of course, olive oil from the estate. We were lucky enough to have the olive oil tasting dinner the first night we arrived. It was such a pleasure to meet the owner, and hear about the estate and the oils produced there. Our stay was much too short as we spent most days exploring the countryside, but it was so nice to come home to Tiglio at the end of the day. The whole time we kept talking about going back with extended family. I would highly recommend this property! We also booked another property with Italy perfect, which was also wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to book any property through Italy Perfect. It was easy and perfect, start to finish!

Borgo Fonte Review

by Susan
The history of the property is fascinating. Our apartment was very clean, well stocked, and nicely appointed. The living room size was lovely. The grounds are gorgeous. I was disappointed to see that this apartment actually has a connecting door to the next apartment, so all their kitchen activity and noise was heard in our space. Also it would have been helpful to know that the arrival to the estate was down a long dirt road. We turned around twice thinking we had made an error. The hospitality of the greeter and organizer, Lorena, was outstanding. If you are looking for a remote country side stay in the Val D’Orcia, but with some concierge type help nearby, you should love this setting. [We are pleased this guest enjoyed her stay but sorry she overlooked the information on the webpage about the connecting door in the foyer. The dirt road is only 1 mile and is typical for rural, farm estates & part of the Tuscany experience. The Italy Perfect Team]

When it came time to book our Tuscany countryside lodging, I contacted Italy Perfect. I booked a Rome apartment 7 years ago and loved the ease of working with Lisa and team. Like the apartment in Rome, the lodging was amazing. The location is postcard perfect, the host Lorena a doll and the accommodations were clean and roomy for our group of 6. The property is perfect for all ages with a pool that has an incredible view of the rolling hills. Try to be onsite for the most beautiful sunsets. The proximity to every town small and large is manageable. Montepulciano is a must for the scenery, wine and food. Thanks again Italy Perfect for making the daunting task of finding the perfect lodging so easy.

Borgo Fonte Review

Perfect information, perfect service, perfect vacation! I have lived in Rome, Italy for two years many years ago and have spent a great deal of time there. I found the Italy Perfect website, knowing exactly what I wanted. Italy Perfect was able to give me a great deal of detailed information about the rental apartment. Their notes prior to our leaving were extremely detailed and helpful. I will certainly return to them in the future. I am completely confident that anyplace rented through Italy Perfect will be...perfect!

Borgo Fonte Review

by Jennifer A.
We recently stayed at Borgo. Our family of 4 was in Beco and my mother stayed in Tiglio. Borgo is an extraordinary destination, and the apartments there are beautiful. They are located in a historic farmhouse on the estate, and are a lovely combination of old Tuscan feel and modern comforts. Our apartment was very comfortable, with a great kitchen and living areas. We were there in June and even though the weather had been very hot in Rome and Venice, it was so pleasant in the hills at Borgo, and we were amazed to be able to sleep with windows open at night. The estate has stunning views with olive orchards, woods and gardens. When combined with the views of the surrounding landscape – cypress trees, ancient hilltop towns and Monte Amiata in the distance – you feel as if you are in a movie. The staff at Borgo is gracious and welcoming, the food is wonderful, and the garden tour should not be missed. Finally, its location is perfect for day trips to any number of beautiful towns. We highly recommend Borgo for an unforgettable trip.
