Great location in the heart of downtown. Couldn’t be better.Cleanliness and amenities were perfect.Bedroom was well sound-proofed but main living area seemed to pick up every sound from the street below but this was a minor inconvenience.The owners met us at the property and helped pre-book a taxi when we left at 5am on last day.Would definitely stay here again when we return to Firenze.

We have stayed in the Prisco multiple times and can say that it is a fantastic apartment, spacious and centrally located. The bakery downstairs is a plus! Miki and Franco are great hosts and see to your every need throughout your stay. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you need. We have also stayed in their other two apartments, the Strozzi and the Michaela, both of which are wonderful as well.

Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was a good size and had all we needed. The location was outstanding - minutes from the train station, major sites, grocery store, restaurants and bakery.

Our stay was a great one. Location was near to everything we needed. Our laundry area was just outside our door in a small room. Great restaurant, pastry/coffee shop just a few steps from our apartment, also, a wine window. Our visit was late November and the outdoor decorations were so pretty. Also visited a Christmas market and saw street performers in front of the Duomo…..fabulous!!!

We stayed in Prisco for 5 weeks in Sept-Oct 2025. The apartment is a large 1 BR with high ceilings and a bright, airy feeling from 3 large floor-to-ceiling windows in the KIT-LR area. It has a spacious, comfortable vibe. The MBR is huge. The bath is updated and modern. The photos in the Italy Perfect brochure accurately display the property. The apartment is on the third floor of the building. The apartment lies at the intersection of 3 active streets. There is much pedestrian traffic going by, but few cars. The LR & KIT can be noisy at times. YET it is interesting to sit in the KIT & watch the many people walking by going to & from the nearby train station. Noise is not an issue in the MBR. It is very quiet due to sound insulation. The neighborhood is fantastic. The apartment is located in a very upscale neighborhood. Many high-end designer shops are a few blocks away. I did not see a more upscale neighborhood in our 5 weeks in Florence. Many of the major attractions are within a 15 minute walk. I loved walking thru the narrow, back streets in the charming area between the Apartment & the Palazzo Vecchio. There are OK small restaurants in the area. The food is similar in most. Two that stood out were Il Barretto and Il Morellino, both a 10 minute walk. There is high-quality take-out food at Rostaria Spada, associated with Restorante La Spada, 5 minutes away. Beware of the much Hyped Tuscan steaks. They are generally tough & chewy. Other: The apartment is generally well equipped but needs a dishwasher for people staying for more than a few days. In our 35 days in Prisco, the elevator broke down 3X. It is 60 steps from the ground floor to the apartment. I could manage that, but my wife is disabled and had difficulty with the steps. I would definitely rent Prisco again in the future. Florence is wonderful.

We had an amazing stay at this Florence Apartment! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and gracious, especially when we had trouble finding the apartment (totally on us, we were just tired from traveling!). They patiently guided us in, then spent time walking us through everything: how to use the air conditioner, stove, washing machine, and even how to check the electricity meter. They also shared helpful tips for getting around the city. So thoughtful and kind! Do note that the check-in process is very thorough and takes about 45 minutes, so plan that into your schedule. Also, there’s an additional utility charge. Ours came to about 5 euros/day, running the AC in the evenings due to the summer heat. Definitely reasonable and well worth it for the comfort. The apartment itself is fantastic! Incredibly spacious for two people and could easily accommodate more. It’s filled with gorgeous natural light and truly felt like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable: we loved the ritzy coffee shop downstairs and the wine window right across the street. We cannot recommend this place enough for a short getaway or a longer stay in Florence. It was the perfect base to explore the city and come home to something special each day. Would absolutely return!

This place is awesome! Highly recommended. Close to all things in Florence while securing privacy and calmness in the middle of the city. The hosts are so lovely.

The property is situated perfectly and the suite is a very nice size in a beautiful old building. The owning couple is adorable.

We had a great stay at the Prisco apartment. The family has 3 apartments in the same building, and all are great. We have stayed in 2 of the 3 and always look forward to staying here. The location is perfect in central Florence. That does make it noisy at times, but that's life in any big city. The owners are a wonderful couple who go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Highly recommend. I know we'll be back!

The apartment was spotless and so cute, and our greeters were so kind and helpful! Location is near the main shopping area of Florence, and there’s a wine window across the street, but the bedroom was quiet and we were able to sleep just fine. Overall a great experience, and we’d come back again!

We loved our stay in this apartment, it’s beautiful! Very spacious, with a very decent kitchen. The hosts are so kind and helpful. The apartment is one of 3, which share a laundry and entry - it has a warm, homely feel. The floor is private and secure. A sound proof door has been installed in the main bedroom so that night is peaceful and quiet (however it does make the room stuffy - air con is available, but at an extra cost). The apartment furniture was cosy and comfortable to relax in. Very close to all the sites which are within comfortable walking distance. We recommend Melaleuca for cappuccino/breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

This is an ideal place to explore Florence. It is 8 minutes walk from the train station and 5-7 minutes walk to many of the museums, cathedrals. It is in the center of designer stores and fine restaurants. We could spend a leisure day to visit one museum in the morning, come home for lunch (there is a great restaurant, La Spada, that also offer take out at very inexpensive prices) 2 minutes away, have a glass of wine, take a nap and be fresh to visit another great museum in the afternoon, come home rest, then enjoy great restaurants for dinner in the evening. It is a very large one bedroom apt with traditional Italian decor yet a nice kitchen with gas stove. There is also a nice elevator so no need to climb steps. Only things to note are check in time is limited from 5-7pm, but we texted the owner who came over in 5 minutes to check us in at 3pm. We would certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Prisco apartment. The location was convenient to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing The apartment was airy and bright. In addition the hosts went out of their way to accommodate our needs and share their recommendations. We will definitely be back soon

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the bellisima Prisco apartment! The amenities were top quality, huge kitchen for preparing meals and the space itself is absolutely grand. We could not have asked for a better location, as everything is within walking distance. Our hosts were the perfect attentive hosts who went out of their way to make sure that you were well taken care of and had everything you needed. Great attention to details, exquisite decor and extremely friendly and gracious hosts. Provided maps and directions, offered good places to grab a bite, and shop right down the street. Close to all the sights and right in middle of the shopping district. Perfect spot! Wifi was strong and having a washer and elevator helped! We can't wait to return to this perfetto stay in Firenze! The apartment felt like a home away from home. So comfortable! Perfectly located and the best of all...our hosts!! Our hosts were so warm, helpful and accomodating! Best short rental we have ever stayed in!!

Our hosts were most wonderful, accomodating and helpful. Thank you! We immediately felt at home. The flat was immaculate and we had all we needed for a longer stay. The location is excellent. There is some noise from the street but the bedroom is double glazed and it didn't really bother us. Would recommend it to anyone who appreciates a beautiful home.

Our 10 day stay at Prisco was absolutely perfect. Such gracious and helpful hosts. There could not be a more perfect location, minutes from all major sites. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well appointed. Although you are right above the bustle of Florence, the sound blocking door in the bedroom essentially blocks out all outside noise. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Gracious hosts. Spacious apartment. Loved the soaking tub. While the bedroom was quiet with the door shut and the windows closed, closing the room off made it a bit stuffy even with the heat turned down in November. Linens were perfumed, so please let the hosts know in advance if this might cause a problem.

We enjoyed our stay at Prisco. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect and it was great to have such a spacious place. Lots of restaurants nearby. We could walk everywhere.

We had a wonderful warm welcome from the hosts, so easy to contact. Felt very safe and comfortable. The elevator was so handy. Excellent locks and keys. Shops , cafes , shopping almost on your doorstep. Easy to use cooker and stove. Lots of space in the apartment with beautiful Florentine furniture and all the mod cons too. Total silence in the Main bedroom, plenty of wardrobe space. Palazzo Strozzi across the road! We walked from the train station only 10 mins. Spotless bathroom and kitchen. A suggestion to change the bath to a walk - in shower would be better as it was tricky for us /difficult to shower in the bath. A truly amazing palazzo to stay in and an overall wonderful experience for the 2 of us. The sofa bed in the living room was spotless and comfortable. Some sounds from the street below at night but I always use earplugs anyway when I travel. I love the street sounds During the day. We would love to return and will. We very much enjoyed our stay in Florence in this beautiful apartment. It was the family home and you can see that they still care for it greatly. We ordered a welcome basket for two people, and there was so much food and snacks that we had more than enough. Guests should be aware that there is a surcharge for electricity use, but still definitely worth the stay in this beautiful place.

We loved our stay in Florence at Prisco. Our hosts were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful with the check in process and explaining the workings of the apartment and gave us very helpful recommendations for the city and neighborhood. They were very responsive when we had an issue with our key. The apartment is in the perfect location and is an easy walk to EVERYTHING! The apartment is very well appointed and very comfortable. We highly recommend the Prisco apartment!

This apartment and its hosts made our trip to Florence perfect. They were so attentive and kind, personally walking us through the apartment which is one of the hosts family home. The apartment is very spacious and has a very homely feel about it and is in a great location. We loved our trip to Florence and a large portion of that was due to the hosts and this apartment. This is a fantastic property.... the apartment is wonderful and the location is amazing. Best of all are the managers, who are there for you 100% are the BEST, and will help you with anything and everything. They make this apartment the only place to stay in Florence.

This apt is very large and convenient to almost everything you want. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. (The stove/oven has some issues which need to be fixed)

We have stayed in the Prisco on two occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The apartment is lovely, spacious and very centrally located. And of course, wonderful hosts! The apartment has everything you need. We have rented apartments (the Stozzi, Prisco and Michaela) from Italy Perfect five times, and cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Florence.

See also my comments on VRBO. The apartment is even better than described in the advert. It is roomy and SO WELL LOCATED to sights, great restaurants, and high-end shopping district. Owners are very nice, considerate, and helpful, even alerting me to train issues on departure day that prompted me to rent a car for travel to Venice airport. Use earplugs at night due to location in highly popular neighborhood. I will definitely stay here when visiting Florence again.

This place was such a great find. In a wonderful location for shopping, restaurants, walks. And a great view of the charming neighborhood from the second story windows. Such old world charm in this place, plus so much space. The new electric fireplace was a bonus as we were there in the colder months. And a full kitchen with all the amenities so we could cook while we were there. And it has an elevator so no worries about all the flights of stairs. Our hosts were attentive and welcoming. This is a great place to stay!

One of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. And a completely unexpected experience. Arrived a little later than expected and was greeted at the door by the host, she welcomed us in like we were family. There is history to their home that dates back generations, classic furniture and Italian styles, but contemporary appliances and amenities (wifi /washing machine). The street they are on is bustling day and night, as they are right in the center of Florence, but the sound proof bedroom balcony door makes it quite and dark no matter what time of day so you can peacefully rest. We felt as if we were visiting our Italian grandparents in the best part of town, and they left us to enjoy our stay, safe, clean, and prepared for our adventures. Most importantly our 8-month old had everything she needed because they prepared so well for us. Baby chair, crib, soap, etc. it really was just wonderful. Will return soon. Thank you!

Christmas Eve, our hosts personally welcomed us to their absolutely charming apartment. They took the time to explain how everything works and guided us through how to use the washing machine! They selected perfect items for our welcome basket which we ordered ahead of time since we were arriving late afternoon on Christmas Eve. Absolutely "Italian" and delicious. The Prisco offers a very large bedroom with an amazing comfortable bed. We slept very well each of the 11 nights we were there. Our hosts also shared tour books/information on the Uffuzi, Ponte Vecchio, local restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores! They utilized a map of Florence to show us points of interest including the train station, central market (do not miss!) and where to dispose of our trash and recyclables. The Prisco gives you an old-world experience with all the modern conveniences. Exceptional location to wander around the quaint streets of Florence including the Oltrarno on the other side of the Arno. We clocked at least 5 miles each day. Thanks to the hosts for making our holiday vacation in Florence "Perfect!!"

Our hosts were the best. They meet us upon arrival and at checkout to see us off. The apartment is in the middle of the city center of Florence. Everything was absolute perfection. We will be back as soon as possible.

We stayed in the Prisco for a week in November. The apartment was perfect and was a wonderful gathering place for our family members who were staying in the Strozzi and Michaela apartments just across the hall. Our hosts were wonderful as always. This was our fourth time to stay in one of their apartments. Just a perfect stay!

My husband and I stayed in the Prisco apartment for 4 nights and it was the best experience. The apartment is even better than the pictures….and our hosts, what can we say about them except they were wonderful. Franco met us at the door and helped us get our very heavy luggage up in the elevator and Miki was waiting for us at the apartment. Such a warm feeling as they showed us through the apartment…one that she had grown up in and so many of her family’s antiques are still there. It is so close to everything, we walked to the Uffizi, the Accademia, Point Vecchio, Santa Croce and there were 2 great restaurants just a block away. Also, a fantastic pastry shop downstairs. Just wish we could have stayed longer. When you open the large doors to the street below you watch the town come alive. We will definitely stay there again if we get the chance to go back to Florence…. a beautiful city. Our hosts even called us a cab the morning we left to take us to our rental car agency. If you get the chance to go to Florence, rent this apartment, you will make wonderful memories just as we did!! Thank you for the memories!!

We were met by our wonderful hosts and shown this lovely historic apartment which was their family home growing up. The beautiful original tile and gorgeous full length French windows and doors that you can open are amazing. We loved opening them to see the activity and bustle below. The home has a second set of insulated glass doors that have been added to the bedroom to make it very quiet for sleeping. You are walking distance to everything here and wonderful restaurants just steps away. Thank you both for sharing your home with us, it was a true Italian Old World experience

We absolutely loved our stay here and can’t thank Miki and Franco enough for their hospitality. Staying here was so convenient to EVERYTHING! We were steps away from wonderful restaurants, bakeries and all this gorgeous city has to offer. I especially loved the historical details of this lovely home and enjoyed opening the beautiful French windows and doors and having coffee or wine. We would love to stay again sometime?

Franco and Miki are amazing hosts. This apartment is located in the heart of Florence within walking distance of everything. We had a car during our trip to Italy but parked our car for all 3 nights in Florence at the garage that Franco suggested which was within walking distance. The apartment is huge with all amenities and is very luxurious with a very authentic feel of Florence. I can't stress enough on how helpful Franco and Miki were as hosts helping us out with everything. Just a week before our trip to Florence from NYC I injured my leg playing Tennis and wasn't able to walk much when I arrived in Italy (bummer that I was not able to reschedule our vacation). I had given Franco a heads up on this. He was so kind that he came with his car to the apartment, unloaded all the bags from our car into his apartment and then he followed me in his car to the parking garage and dropped me in his car back to the apartment since I wasn't able to walk much due to my walking boot/cast attached to my leg. He then explained everything in detail in the apartment along with his wife Miki that we really had no questions left to ask during the stay. When we were checking out, he again helped me by taking me to a luggage shop to buy an extra luggage bag to hold all the new things we shopped for while in Florence. And just to say, he is an 80 year old man who is kind and extremely helpful. I can't thank him enough for his hospitality especially with my mobility issues with my injured leg. Definitely recommend this beautiful home and the hosts as they will do everything possible to make you feel welcome!

Florence is difficult to communicate with photographs. It’s immense beauty is too large for a single image. This apartment follows that trend: it’s character and it’s location is too rich to encapsulate in an AirBnb listing. The neighborhood is top notch. The hosts are warm and inviting. The space is grand! You’ll look back on this booking as the best money you ever spent in Italy.

Wonderful hosts who gave us a thorough review of the apartment, the neighborhood and local transportation. Central location for shops (very upscale), restaurants, groceries, and tourist attractions. We look forward to staying at this location again in the future.

We were so pleased with the Prisco apartment and our hosts. Everything was within a 10-minute walk: restaurants, public transportation, tourist sites, upscale shopping, pharmacies.. everything you can wish for. Our hosts took the time to show us how everything worked in the apartment and where all the favorite places were on a map of the area. The kitchen was well equipped so it was easy to make a few authentic homemade Italian dinners with the fresh ingredients I found at the local market. We felt very safe and comfortable.

We used as our elopement suite. The hosts were so kind and informative! They gave great insights to the area and recommendations. Would love to come back in the future, such a beautiful property and ideal location.

A very spacious apartment in a great location which made for a lovely week in Florence. Full of character. Bed was large & comfortable which is so important when in holiday.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in the lovely Prisco apartment for 4 days/5 nights. Our hosts were both very caring and instructive about use of the various keys, great local restaurants, and contacts. Lovely and spacious apartment, excellent kitchen, and views onto the street to people watch. The location was perfect: really close to super-market ("PAM"), several different piazzas, awesome restaurants, and of course the Duomo/Accademia/Medici Chapel/Uffizi Gallery and more! Our host's dog Prince was a cutey, too:) We will highly recommend this apartment to our friends.

We lived our stay at the Prisco apartment. Our hosts were very accommodating and great to get to know. They gave us a beautiful welcome basket, arranged taxis and could not be nicer. We like to cook so the kitchen was important. It had everything you could need. Location was perfect. Close to everything. We would stay again.
