Surround yourself with the history and beauty of Florence with a stay at the beautiful Allegro apartment. Located just one block from the Uffizi and with a charming balcony, this is a stunning home base in the heart of Florence.

If Florentine charm and a fantastic location are on your wish list, the Allegro apartment ticks all the boxes and more! Elegantly designed and beautifully appointed, the Allegro is the perfect respite after full days of sightseeing, dining and shopping.

Perfectly situated just one block from the Uffizi Museum, Piazza Signoria and the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge, all of Florence’s top sites are easily walkable. Right on your doorstep you’ll also find excellent restaurants, a café, a pizzeria and several jewelry, fine arts and clothing boutiques.

A sweet balcony greets you as you step into the apartment. Outdoor space is such a treat; it can be enjoyed many months of the year from early spring to late fall. Enjoy your first cup of coffee or tea each morning as the city below comes alive or unwind in the evening with a glass of prosecco.

The Allegro apartment is located in a building that was constructed around a historic medieval tower, the Torre Lambertesca. The building’s elevator even runs up the tower! Stepping inside the apartment, you’ll see the rough stone wall of the medieval tower. The open plan living room has two glass doors that face towards the Uffizi, just one block away, and overlooks characteristic terracotta tile rooftops. A sleek dining table with banquette seating, comfortable sofa and two armchairs provide ample seating.

Bedroom 1 has an en suite bathroom accessed through a “hidden” door in the wall of closets that line the room. The handsome bathrooms, each with enclosed showers, pay tribute to Italian craftsmanship with beautiful tilework.

The unique setting around the Torre Lambertesca is a rare chance to experience Florence's history up close. The stones of the medieval tower reflect turbulent moments in the city's history. In the 11th and 12th centuries, prominent Florentine families built towers up to 70m/ 230ft high for defense during the violent competition among them. Torre Lambertesca is one of the few remaining of once 150 towers in the city. In the 13th century, with the founding of the Republic of Florence, the era of civil battles ended and the towers were all reduced to a height of 29m/ 95ft.

Surround yourself with the history and beauty of Florence with a stay at the beautiful Allegro apartment!

Furnishings inside are beautiful and new.

by Cheryl S

The location of this apartment is great and furnishings inside are beautiful and new. This place was spotlessly clean and our host was so helpful in securing a taxi to an early morning flight.

Enjoyed our stay

Two couples traveling to Florence for the first time, really enjoyed our stay at the Allegro apartment. Lisa from Italy Perfect was super helpful with info and advice and the greeter was equally informative and gracious. Apartment is beautiful and location is excellent.

Stylish, pristine and very well appointed apartment located in the heart of stunning Florence within a short walk of all key attractions. Our greeter and minder could not have been more accommodating, informative and helpful. A wonderfully positive experience from start to finish.

Cutest Apartment, Amazing Location in Center

by Sharon R.

The Allegro apartment was perfect for our family. Location was amazing and we loved everything about Florence. Walked everywhere, took a pizza making class recommended by Italy Perfect. Enjoyable for all ages. In the morning my husband and I would have coffee on the terrace before the kids woke up, I think that was my favorite part - sitting outside feeling like we got to live in Florence, if only  for a few days. Thanks for everything.

Cocktails on the Balcony

by Jared

I felt soooo sophisticated while staying in this wonderful apartment. We greeted the day with views of history, shopped in designer boutiques, dined with the Antinoris;-) The comfort of the furniture and the refined decorating is giving me ideas. Love the bathrooms too.

Felt so lucky to be among the first to stay at the Allegro apartment. You can't get a better location than this. So thoughtfully furnished, I didn't want to leave! So easy to walk to the sights, everything is nearby. Will recommend this to friends and family. Great service from Italy Perfect.

Medici Chapels (8 mins Walking)
Part of the San Lorenzo church, the monumental chapel and tombs of the Medici family with statues by Michelangelo some considered to be among his finest work.
Piazza San Lorenzo (9 mins Walking)
Important central piazza with one of the largest churches in Florence with art and architecture by many celebrated artists. Location of the Medici Chapel and tombs. Also the center of a large outdoor street market great for souvenir shopping.
Piazza Santa Croce (9 mins Walking)
Grand piazza of Florence, largest in the center. Fine historic palaces and reigned over by the brooding statue of Dante Alighieri. The cathedral is the temple to the "gods" of Italy including Michelangelo, Rossini, Machiavelli, Galileo and more. Location of events including Calcio Storico "the most brutal sport".
