This review is for the neighboring apartment with the same management: "The Valentina apartment for our 2 couples exceeded all our expectations, in all aspects…from our original booking process, our greeting upon check-in with our hosts, it’s incredible location, and the size, layout, and tasteful furnishings of this magnificent well-maintained apartment. Considering Valentina’s location we were pleased with how quiet the bedrooms were. Grocery shopping, bakeries, wine stores, cafe’s were all within steps of Valentina, including of course the Spanish Steps and Via dei Condotti a block away. Most of Rome’s major attractions were within walking distance, with a gelato in hand. Now we have enjoyed great experiences with Paris Perfect in August and Italy Perfect in October. Looking forward already to another Vacation Perfect experience next year."

We have just returned from the Zegno Apartment and our magical trip to Rome! What an incredible experience for all 6 of us (2 parents, 2 adult children and 2 grandparents). We had been planning this trip since 2019 and was delayed due to COVID. The Italy Perfect staff, especially Pat and Sonia, were absolutely wonderful. When the world was panicking, Pat was always there to take my call and answer my questions. She worked with my family to continue our reservations and I am overjoyed that she did. This apartment was perfect for my family – plenty of space for everyone to have privacy and their own refuge. The location was ideal. We walked to the majority of the attractions, with the exception of the Vatican and Colosseum. We were close enough to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and the right next door to the Spanish Steps. Sonia was responsive and pleasant when arranging for transportation to and from the airport and also the Vatican. The entire city was decorated for Christmas and the weather was ideal. We had perfect sunsets with glorious colors. There was a lot of details that went into this trip but all that hard work paid off! It was a trip of lifetime. When I go back to Rome, I will definitely book through Italy Perfect and will continue to highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you again for everything!

We had a wonderful week at the Zegno apartment. As a family of 6 (2 parents, 2 older children, 2 grandparents), the apartment provided ample space for everyone. The washer and especially the clothes dryer were great benefits, as we travelled during a rainy week. The location is superlative: the predominantly pedestrian streets in this neighborhood are great for shopping and an evening passeggiata. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the metro and from a taxi stand, making it very convenient to travel to all parts of the city.The area has a number of great restaurants for meals or an aperitivo prior to dinner.We can't recommend the Zegno apartment highly enough. My husband and I loved the Renata apartment. The location near the Spanish Step was perfect and although we were in Rome during a heat wave the apartment's air conditioning held up just fine...which is not always the case in Rome. The preplanning Italy Perfect did was right on target. We also rented the Valentina and Zegno apartments as we had twelve in our group. All the apartments were as advertised, although it's a bit difficult to hear the bell or buzzer in the Zegno apartment as you have to enter past the manager's office and the door was always closed. I had groceries delivered to each apartment in advance, although the grocery store is just a very short 5 min walk and it's easy to go and get exactly what you want. Because we were a large group I made some dinner reservations and these restaurants stood out in the area and treated us well. Al 34 and Il Gabriella. If the adults want to get away AD Hoc is a great place, small and reservations a must. We used Family Twist to arrange our group tours and I can't say enough about them, they were wonderful. This is the second time we have used Italy Perfect and again it was a wonderful experience. Our greeter was lovely and Edgar was very friendly and helpful. The Zegno apartment was great and two years ago Valentina was terrific. These two places are located in the same building very close to the Spanish steps and great shopping. I am so glad we booked accommodations with ItalyPerfect! The entire process was so easy and worry-free. Communications with Lisa and Pat were always timely and clear. They called me shortly after booking to let me know a few helpful hints and point me in the direction of resources for our trip. All the information you could possibly need is right there on the website and is easy to find. They helped us book a driver to and from the airport as well as booking tours. Our apartment/flat was lovely and so convenient to everything. ItalyPerfect made Italy a completely worry free experience.My only regret is that I did not find out they also have London properties until after I booked the London half of our trip. Our flight from London was delayed due to poor weather. Because the delay stretched from an hour to an hour and a half, and finally to two plus hours, we were unable to provide our greeter with much useful information about how late we would be arriving at the flat. But our greeter had been checking on the status of our flight all evening and the flat was warm and inviting when we finally arrived. We appreciated such attention to detail.The flat is large, comfortable, and the owner has clearly taken time and care in decorating it. It is perfectly located—you are close enough to the Spanish steps to benefit from the limit on traffic, but far enough away to feel like you are in a neighborhood. Wonderful location and great apartment. Plenty of room for our family. We felt completely at home --only wish our stay was a full week. Walked everywhere during our stay in Rome. Super convenient. The apartment was exactly as advertised.A great location and a well outfitted and comfortable base for exploring central Rome.

This apartment was in an ideal location. We were able to walk to all of the attractions in Rome, not to mention a street or two away from premiere shopping. The apartment itself is very large more than enough room for 5 of us to not get in each other's way during our week long stay. Air conditioning in each room which was very helpful as we were there in June. The owner, housekeeping and attendant were all very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. I thought Italyperfect was just great in terms of the accommodation. The location was so convenient, the owner was a good host, the violinist made us feel a part of the street life of Rome. Plenty of room, appliances (other than coffee maker) worked. What more could we have wished for?I have great memories of Rome and could not have asked for better! Our accommodations in Rome were outstanding. The Zegno apartment exceeded our expectations and I imagine our family will never stay in a hotel again having had such an outstanding apartment-rental experience. We have three children, all under 13 years old, and everyone had enough space to relax after a long day. The kitchen and laundry were key, as traveling with younger kids requires early morning food and quick loads of laundry. We had never used an online rental company before and were nervous, but Lisa at ItalyPerfect answered every question and made sure every detail was in line prior to our departure. The apartment is located minutes from the Spanish Steps in a safe, bustling, shop-filled neighborhood. The owner met us upon our arrival and gave us dining and sightseeing ideas. Our departure morning was effortless. The Zegno apartment was very beautiful, spacious and in such a perfect location! We were only a few blocks away from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The bedding was very comfortable and our hostess was very gracious and recommended great nearby dining! We loved this location it was so perfect for sightseeing, dining and shopping! Our party of 6 absolutely loved our stay at the Zegno apartment. The accommodations were clean and tidy (a must for optimal enjoyment). The housekeeper is very kind and delightful. He is thorough in his work. The apartment location could not have been more ideal. We walked around day and night feeling quite safe. The feel of the neighborhood will remain in our memories forever! Accordion serenades outside the window on the street below, violin solos by Bach, it was just beautiful! The Spanish Steps and fountain provided such a fun "living room" to hang out on after the sun went down. The owner left a booklet with such wonderful recommendations for restaurants and tours. Ann and Simone are phenomenal. Ann took us on tours to the major sites and was so great with our children. Simone's pizza making lesson at the pizzeria, and cooking lesson in the apartment couldn't have been more enjoyable! Taxis are nearby and very easy to catch. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to truly enjoy Rome.

We were a family of six staying in this apartment, including two children ages 6 & 13. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located for most major attractions. Many wonderful restaurants nearby as well. The owner greeted us upon our arrival & was very gracious and full of recommendations for the neighborhood. My only recommendation for such a lovely apartment would be to invest in a higher grade of linens & towels. But that was so minor...we would definitely stay in this apartment on future visits to Rome!!!

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at the Zegno Apartment, in the heart of Rome. The Hotel d`Inghilterra is right outside the door, and we were able to hail a taxi, grab a light lunch and have a bit of a hotel feel when needed. The location on the corner of Via Condotti in Rome was condusive to shopping, yet off the main road. The open windows let the sounds of music and life into the apartment when desired, and when the windows were closed we could enjoy opera music on the stereo, as selected by the apartment owners. The kitchen is well stocked, the laundry easy to use. The master en-suite was very nice, and the separate bathroom off the laundry area is very private as well. The loft bed is a little small for adults, but as described. I would request extra towels, and having a few groceries and wine picked up in advance of arrival was very nice. Everything was as described by Italy Perfect and the welcoming, and departure a breeze. The large Living and Dining area was the hub for meals, card games, and reading with plenty of space for us and friends that visited. The tram from Piazza del Poppolo north towards the Olympic Stadium, Stadio Olimpico, where football and water polo matches are held, was very handy as well, less touristy and we enjoyed Ponte Milvio. Our favorite restaurant in Ponte Milvio was Gli Specialisti for Carbonara, and Cacio de pepe. Not a touristy area, but very nice shopping and restuarants as well as a small street market on Saturday's outside of Roma Beer Company. They serve an excellent array of beers from around the world, each beer has it's own distictive beer. This a great place to go before a football(soccer)match at the stadium, walking distance. We had a wonderful family vacation in Rome this summer! Our week at the Zegno Apartment was perfect. Edgard is a kind and helpful Houseman. The accomodations were luxurious, clean, and comfortable and provided an "at home" experience after long days of touring the beautiful city. The location is ideal as it is near the Spanish Steps, with grocery and taxi stands available only a short walk away. The building is very secure which added to our sense of safety as a family. we enjoyed our stay. zegno is in a nice part of Rome, minutes from the spanish steps, and the apartment is clean and comfortable. in terms of meeting our greeter, getting into the apartment, etc, everything went as planned. we also met the owner who was extremely nice.

This apartment was great! It was in the perfect spot; just two blocks from the Spanish Steps, Cab stations, shopping, and restaurants. There is a fabulous Café/Bakery just down the street; 4 blocks from a grocery store. Three large bedrooms, with plenty of space to unpack. Thanks for a great trip! You can't beat that location! Our adult family greatly enjoyed our stay at Zegno in Rome. We especially appreciated the welcome chat with our hostess, a deeply cultured, knowledgeable Roman woman who kindly introduced us to her city via an hour long chat. Her home is spacious, beautiful and perfectly situated for touring the ancient sites. Italy Perfect staff was most helpful in our planning. We have already recommended them to our friends. Internet service at the apartment is not perfect but adequate for routine needs.

We were very pleased with the lovely Zegno apartment on the Spanish Steps. It was a spectacular location. The apartment was spacious, extremely well maintained and immaculate. I am very particular and generally stay in 5 star accommodations. The only knock I had was the owner needs to invest in more luxurious towels and bedding. We never played music on out iPhone once. We simply opened the windows to enjoy violin, jazz or opera. A true Italian experience. One other thing avail yourself of the concierge service available with the apartment. The concierge is a PhD art historian and author of 5 books as well as native Roman will guide you through the best of Rome without hassles and lines. She will focus on you or your family to customize an unforgettable experience which will leave you ready to plan your next trip All in all we had an amazing Roman holiday.

The apartment was very well located and very comfortable. Our family of four had a lot of space in the apartment. We loved the restaurant Ginger nearby recommended by the owner. We used the guide Christina recommended by Italy Perfect and found her superb. We used her for touring the Vatican and the Ancient Rome. The Zegno apartment surpassed our expectations. Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, friendly greeter and excellent service from everyone we worked with. The apartment is accurately depicted and the location was great, also apartment was so nicely appointed. Thank you for a perfect stay! 

We travel with our children frequently and enjoyed Paris Perfect so much that we instantly sought to use Italy Perfect for our recent trip to Rome. In our first encounter, they made it clear that they were not the same company as Paris Perfect (and it showed). After taking our full payment, they alerted us that the apartment we chose was, in fact, not available even though it showed as available. Apparently, it was easier to take our money than it was to do their diligence on the availability of the property. Nevertheless, we found a suitable alternative (or so we thought). Upon arrival, the greeter was not available so she sent her handyman (who although jovial spoke little to no english). The apartment was dubbed as "modern" but we found that the bathrooms were not as modern as they were made to be. Regardless, we enjoyed our time in the apartment. What we did not enjoy was the time leading up to getting to Rome - Italy Perfect nickels and dimes you and sends sarcastic emails about how everything they have offered is spelled out in their documentation. Rather than work with their customers, I found the attitude to be dismissive and somewhat sarcastic. We love Paris Perfect and will use them again. We will not use Italy Perfect again. [We sincerely regret Our guest was dissatisfied. The Zegno apartment and the other two in the same building, Renata and Valentina, are of excellent quality and offer good service, too, as evidenced by the many positive guest comments. We’re pleased our guest and her family enjoyed their time in the apartment . Unfortunately, there were several factors that resulted in her dissatisfaction.   We were unable to offer a returning Paris guest discount as the guest requested because Paris Perfect & Italy Perfect are different companies with a different group of owners. In spite of this, we were pleased to negotiate a discount on her behalf.   There was a calendar mix-up by the apartment owner that was discovered within 24 hours of reservation. We and the owner apologized sincerely for the error and since the reservation had just been confirmed one day prior, we offered a comparable apartment in the exact same building, or a full and immediate refund. The bathrooms are exactly as pictured on the website, but we sent her an additional 5 photos of the bathrooms so she could evaluate fully before making her decision.   We inform all guests that we cannot guarantee an early check in unless they reserve the previous night. The guest chose the regular check in, and became upset two weeks before her arrival when we could not guarantee an exception until she arrived, explaining that although her chances were good for an early check in, it was not guaranteed since it depends on cleaner’s schedule on arrival day.  We are extremely pleased that our greeter, who is a kind and competent house manager, not a handyman, was able to  accommodate her early arrival. We are sorry his English was unsatisfactory but again pleased he welcomed the guests warmly and politely. Our Reservation Contract has no hidden fees. We are sorry that the reservation mix up got things off on the wrong foot, and despite our sincere apologies, offering a comparable apartment or a full refund, obtaining a discount for her and an early check-in, we were not able to satisfy this customer. I cannot say enough about our zegno apt. In Rome. It was so spacious and beautiful. Large with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The via condotti area was so pretty and quite! Pedestrian only street with the finest designer shops next door. Staying in an apartment made our stay much more enjoyable than being in a hotel room. Supermarket right up the street so we were able to get groceries and convenient taxi stand at the Spanish steps. We would definitely stay in the zegno if we come to Rome again!

Our Zegno apartment in Rome was lovely. Just as advertised! Beautifully furnished and located just a very short walk from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Stella McCartney's shop as well as other specialty shops, both high end and local. Also, the metro system was just to the left of the Spanish Steps for when we needed to go further in to the city. - After a long day of touring Rome it was so nice to come back to the apartment, have a glass of wine and relax. We appreciated the complementary bottle of wine too! The owner was very accommodating, easy to contact and always willing to help. - I can honestly say that when we return to Rome, we will be staying right here. Centrally located to so many things . This a great place to stay; large, comfortable, quiet, well located, and beautifully furnished. We particularly enjoyed dinner at the nearby Restorante Life on Via della Vite.

We stayed in the Zegno Apartment for one week with our 3 teenagers. It was perfect. Spacious, beautiful and a fantastic place to relax after a busy day. We loved to hang out the window and watch the activities of the street below. The location was perfect, close to many fantastic restaurants and transportation. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

The accommodations were perfect and exactly as outlined and presented. I knew the location was perfect and it really was fantastic - views, convenience. The owner was more than helpful - with a list of her preferred restaurants and their attributes - perfecto! We used your recommendations for transportation services for getting everyone to and from the airport and also for a day trip to Pompei where Stefano also arranged for a great guide. Christina your recommended guide for the Vatican was exceptional - actually our 11 year old grandson said she was #1 on his highlights of the trip.

I want to tell you how much we enjoyed our rental in December!  The Zegno apartment was exactly as described by you, and we especially enjoyed the amount of light provided by the big windows in the living room and the view down the streets with their gorgeous decorations for Christmas.  It is also lovely that the area is mostly pedestrian-only, which makes it nice and quiet.  We walked all over Rome, but also enjoyed the proximity of taxi stands ... not always so easy to hail a taxi on the streets, and this was very handy at times. Stefano's transfer service was ontime and reliable ... a good recommendation.  The housekeeper was never intrusive, and solved a hot water problem while we were out without any inconvenience to us. I rent homes all over the world, and have never been provided such comprehensive information on restaurants, etc., as you provided.  Bravo! In short, we have nothing to criticize whatsoever .... it was a delightful experience and I have no hesitation to recommend you to my friends. The apartment was excellent. The location was perfect with quick access to taxis, shops historical areas, an excellent grocery shop and excellent restaurants. The owner was a gracious hostess and in her absence was always accessible via cell phone. Nellie, the very capable housekeeper, was reliable and freindly.Yes, I would recmmend this apartment.
