Vista Flora can be rented in conjunction with Vista Galli and guests can share the pool at Vista Galli.
Location
Located in Piano di Sorrento, it is about a 15 minute drive to Sorrento. A gorgeous 30 minute drive will find you in Positano or Nerano where you can shop, eat. Positano has a sandy beach, a vibrant town with shops and restaurants. Nerano is small, intimate and beautiful with great restaurants.
For a bit of exercise there are hikes to enjoy down to the sea which takes about 1 hour or up on the trails of Monte Amato. Also, about 100 meters just outside the gate of Vista Serena, is a lovely park "Antico Parco dei Principe". It has a large public swimming pool with a slide that kids love. You can also access a hiking trail from this park that goes up the mountain and then connects with the "Path of the Gods" that takes you along the dramatic and historic coastline for many miles and walkers/runners find this trail an ideal destination.
A nice feature is the proximity of an excellent trattoria and a mini-mart/cafe only a 2 block walk from the villa.
Exterior
The natural stone house is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The restful views over the green lawn give way to expansive vistas of the sparkling Tyrrenian sea.
Flowers enhance the gardens that surround the house. Enjoy the bounty of the seasonal fruits from garden. Depending on the season, you'll find lemons, oranges, pomegranates, figs, persimmons.
Surrounding Vista Flora is the owner's private land, with olive trees and palms dotting the landscape.
Interior
The modern floor plan on one level works well for 3 couples, families or friends. Living room french doors open out to the lawn where you can relax in easy chairs while enjoying the views of the sea and the I Galli islands, a trio of tiny islands including one that was once the summer estate of legendary dancer Rudolph Nureyev.
The living room has two seating areas with ample comfortable seating options.
The open plan dining and kitchen area lets everyone socialize while cooking.
Off the kitchen is a beautiful patio under a shaded pergola with a seating area and dining table.

by Catherine[This review is for the neighboring Vista Serena.] Our two weeks in June was very special and worth it for our family. The villas are impressive, showing the care and appreciation of the owners whose family has owned them for hundreds of years. Views are timeless. The gardens are so lovely; the trees were dripping with apricots, lemons and cherries. We cherished the housekeeper with her giant heart. She took such great care of us and the villa. We explored the local area and walked many times to the little Il Montano restaurant for morning expresso and local dishes for lunch and dinner and felt that they had adopted us. We explored the peninsula and found every secret beach. Sorrento was our favorite town. Took your advice and celebrated a birthday at brunch in the Excelsior Vittoria. They treated us like gold! Everyone worked hard to make us happy. Everything you said about driving was right. No issues. We have stayed with Paris Perfect and London Perfect and found Italy Perfect a fine service, too.
"Over the moon" with our villa!!!
by Sally & JohnThis review is for the neighboring Vista Galli villa: We were absolutely "over the moon" with our gorgeous villa, the beautiful grounds and gardens, and the amazing staff! And, well, then there are the incredible Galli Islands right in front of you... The villa is impeccably maintained by the attentive, friendly staff, and they worked hard to be sure all our requests were met. The location of the villa is ideal - walking distance to a few local restaurants and a delightful cooking school (Antico Casale), a short drive to Sorrento, and also close to Positano. There is a terrific car service/tour service (PrivateDayTours.com) which we used extensively. The service is actually located in Piano di Sorrento. Our 4 weeks at Vista Galli flew by - it was a perfect vacation in every way.

Piano di Sorrento (7 min drive)
A pleasant town with shops and restaurants
Sorrento (15 min drive)
Gorgeous views of Capri, Naples and Vesuvius from a fine town with all the amenities, shops and restaurants. Take the hydrofoil to Capri with its famous Piazzetta and Blue Grotto.
Positano (30 min drive)
Romantic beach town on the Amalfi coast with pastel house tumbling down to the sea. Good restaurants and the must sip local beverage Limoncello.
Pompeii (35 min drive)
Roman city buried after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. Discover the streets, shops and homes of the ancient city.
Herculaneum (46 min drive)
Fine alternative or in addition to a visto to Pompeii. Herculaneum is better preserved and more complete than Pompeii because it was buried in a different way. It was also a wealthier town resulting and a delightful visit.
Naples (50 min drive)
Naples embraces its bay with lovely views, ancient sights, the best museums in Italy, great shopping. Enjoy a seafood meal in the waterside restaurant. Good shopping for interesting regional specialties.
Amalfi (57 min drive)
Iconic town along the Amalfi Coast south of Naples with its breath-taking views from the vertical terrain. And of course homes of the rich and famous since Roman times.
