Enjoy Rome while in a quality apartment with rare extras.

Location: The apartment is near the ancient Ponte Sisto bridge for a stroll across the Tiber River to Trastevere. Exciting Campo de’ Fiori is a 4-minute walk and fabled Piazza Navona 5 minutes farther. The area is rich with dining options and shops. History runs deep in nearby Largo Argentina where Julius Caesar met his end. Just beyond is the Ancient Jewish quarter. The Island in the Tiber is your landmark.

Interior: The apartment has been decorated with a designer’s touch in quality furnishings, modern fixtures and appliances. Enjoy a sleek and open atmosphere punctuated with pleasant art and interesting finishes in the bathrooms.

Put your feet up in the TV area with the large smart TV. The open kitchen hosts the dining table.

The large bedroom with en suite bathroom features a sauna as well a dual jacuzzi tub! This room as well as the other double bedroom has a large TV with Netflix & Prime subscriptions.

The second bedroom has full sized twin bunk beds. Its bathroom is just across the hall.

The third bedroom has an en suite bath and plenty of space.

Neighborhood: The interesting arrangement of buildings around a courtyard, now used for parking, echoes millennia of active use. The courtyard and the neighborhood were defined in the first century by the Emperor Domitian. As the city evolved, the palaces/buildings that were used for homes, warehouses and offices rose and fell again and again, preserving the building locations and streets that carry you even today to the important Roman locations.

The Ponte Sisto bridge nearby (now pedestrian) to Trastevere has spanned the River Tiber for millennia.  For a peek into the past, an excavation into ancient Roman rooms below this area revealed rooms, arches, mosaics and a column from the ancient ages. It is seldom open but enjoy photos by searching online for images of Insula di San Paola alla Regola for a wonderful dive into the history of this area. Savor a Roman meal at Osteria Romana di Simmi nearby and ask if you may visit their own Roman era rooms below. The neighborhood church Santissima Trinita dei Pellegrini offers the rare Catholic Mass in Latin.

Cool, Comfortable & Convenient

by Pete & Rebecca S.

We really liked this apartment for comfort of the living room area and bedrooms. It is bright and well-equipped. Even used the steam-room! Have been to Rome before and found this neighborhood a great, new area of the city to explore and enjoy. Good service from agency and onsite staff. [Review for Sisto Cascata in same building with same management.]

Everything we needed and more

by Nadine G

This was the perfect location to stay in Rome. Walking distance to all the sites and allowed us to experience a little more of a neighbourhood vibe. Coffee shops, grocery store, and restaurants are steps from the apartment. Bonus we found a dedicated gluten free bakery around the corner, which even my non-gluten free friends loved. The apartment was well appointed with everything you would need, bonus there is an elevator and air conditioned rooms that actually cool! Would highly recommend Sisto Fiume for anyone visiting Rome. [Review for Sisto Fiume in same building with same management.]

Unbelievable Location

by Georgio

Unbelievable location, we hit almost all the Rome hot spots we needed without taking a cab. We went to our tours Vatican/Coliseum the next day all walking distance. The property itself is clean and the extras like sauna and hottub were great. Overall we were all very happy with the stay. [Review for Sisto Fiume in same building with same management.]

Amazing

Amazing place with everything modernized. The sauna was awesome... brand new with bluetooth for music! The tub has jets, but make sure you allow time for water to fill. The elevator was a big plus with all our luggage. Coop grocery store nearby which is really helpful. The pictures speak for themselves... new and simple which is perfect. [Review for Sisto Fiume in same building with same management.]

Fantastic apartment

by Eric A

The apartment is in a fantastic location, is exceptionally clean, and has a great layout. We appreciated the comfortable beds and blackout curtains to help with jet lag. [Review for Sisto Cascata in the same building and with the same management.]
