Gaze across the canals and rooftops from the Cassia apartment terrace. This lovely apartment merges classic Venetian architecture with modern comfort and bright, colorful highlights.


The Cassia apartment is on the 5th floor (6th floor North American) of a classic Venetian palace built in 1830. It has three levels. On the main level is a large living room with adjoining dining room. Above that is a sleeping loft and then up a short flight of steps to a gorgeous, private rooftop terrace.


As you enter the comfortably sized living room, your eyes are drawn to a beautiful print that decorates one wall that shows the eastern lands of the Mediterranean where Venice dominated trade. Furnishings are sophisticated and "quiet" with pretty color highlights.


The dining room leads to a modern open kitchen with marble counter tops, gas stovetop, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker.


You will be welcomed with a bottle Bellini, the classic Venetian beverage made famous by nearby Harry's Bar. Fresh croissants will be delivered to your door each day. The kitchen is prepared for you with bottled water, fresh fruit, coffee capsules, fresh milk, sweeteners, butter, jam, sliced bread as well as salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar.


The floors are a warm-colored terrazzo, a traditional finish developed originally in Venice centuries ago.


The entry area opens onto the living room and has the steps to the upper terrace that is exclusive to the Cassia apartment. There is a large closet in the entry.

This welcoming living room space has an l-shaped sofa with coffee table. A table for four is ideal for dining with a timeless view.


There is a second terrace, too. A few steps below the main level is a nice large terrace that is shared by this apartment and the other three in the building, Alloro, Menta and Zenzero. It has two wicker sofas, two armchairs and a table for 8.


There are three bedrooms on the main level and another up one level.

The master bedroom has a high quality Simmons mattress, as do the other bedrooms. An interesting carved and gilded architectural element is above the headboard bolsters. There is a lamp and table for each side of the bed. Built-in closets flank the door. An en-suite bathroom has shower over tub.


A bedroom with two single beds has whimsical pink byzantine-style headboards.


The third bedroom, with a single bed, is accessed through the room with the two singles. Between them, it is a nice solution for a family


These two bedrooms share a bathroom that is accessed outside the twin bedroom. It has a step-in shower.


Above the main level, is the attic bedroom with two single beds. Bright highlights will appeal to children who can best navigate the low ceiling.

Lovely location - Best service ever

Our stay there was wonderful, our host took excellent care of us. The place is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed although we ate out most meals. The morning croissants were excellent. It was very nice to be able to arrive and depart through the water taxi canal doors, we saw many people lugging their bags across the bumpy pavement - but we didn't have to. Would definitely stay again... The host is a Gem!

Wonderful Stay in Venice

We had a fantastic experience at the Cassia Tre! The apartment worked beautifully for two couples traveling together - it would also work very well for a larger group, or families. It provided every amenity we needed, was an ideal location, and the morning croissant delivery was a lovely touch! We loved having the rooftop deck for relaxing in the evenings, and the arrival/departure to the private dock was the best way to begin and end our stay in Venice. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely reserve it again the next time we visit! Thank you for the incredible experience you provided us during our time in Venice.

The location is incredible. The apartment is well serviced. It would be nice if there were fewer single beds and more larger beds. The kitchen is totally serviceable. The floor is not at all level, which takes some getting used to but feels totally appropriate for Venice. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of 4 was extremely comfortable for nearly a week. Each teenager had their own room and the air conditioning worked very well. This is a quiet neighborhood, but you won't be disappointed. There are restaurants and bars within 100 feet of the front door (just cross 1 bridge). You can walk to all the major sites within 12 minutes. It is directly on a canal with romantic gondolas going by every few minutes. We really enjoyed the terrace a great deal. There is a grocery store within a 5 minute walk, so we decided to eat-in for several nights. We had all our breakfasts on the terrace. Simply amazing views of the Venice sky line. It was also nice to be sheltered from the hot summer sun and the 1 time it rained. There is a separate deck on the roof - which we used a few times also. Check-in and out was fantastic. This company has everything very well planned and everything was very on-time. Communication was excellent! Highly recommended. [Thank you for your great review! Wonderful, very clean, very comfortable apartment steps from St Marks Square. Such a lovely experience: we highly recommend the water taxi from the train station to the private dock and the water taxi to the airport. We really appreciated Barbara's help with setting up the taxis and the daily croissants were scrumptious. We were there with our three children and grandparents and there was room for everyone. We had a lovely stay and hope to return!!!

The Cassia apartment was perfection! We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children and the apartment worked great for us. Everyone had their own adorable room and plenty of space to hang out in as well. The private roof top terrace was my favorite. I sat out on it every evening with a glass of prosecco listening to the bells of Venice and looking at the canal, it was magical. The apartment is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The warm daily croissants were and added bonus. The location is 7 minutes from San Marco square, very centrally located but down a quiet alley. They also provide a notebook with restaurant suggestions, which was very helpful. This property was immensely comfortable and very tastefully furnished with room to spare for four adults. A major bonus was the constant supply of bottled water (both still and sparkling) which is invaluable plus the most amazing homemade croissants that were delivered warm each morning at precisely eight am. The local contact person also saved us from a potentially disastrous outing to one of the islands with her advice that on the weekend we might wait hours trying to catch a vaporetto back. The location is superb and I highly recommend wandering other neighborhoods such as Cannareggio to get a true Venetian experience. We have now worked with the Perfect family in three different countries and I would recommend them without reservations. What a gem! We landed in hot Venice, took a water taxi to our destination and Roy graciously met us and guided us to our apartment. It is in a prefect location. The apartment in on the 6th floor. It has a large kitchen and dining area. It has a wonderful living room and three bedrooms on that main floor, along with a terrace to sit and enjoy your morning cappuccino. This was a spacious and wonderful location for a family of six. The truly magical part of the apartment is the upstairs loft that has a bedroom and a bathroom and another terrace, this time on the roof. Gorgeous views all around. The location is near the Chiesa di San Moise - a gorgeous Venetian church. It is within walking distance to San Marcos Square, any shopping you could desire and delicious food all around. We found it to be safe, family friendly and very comfortable. Our three days in Venice were a delight and if I were to return...which I hope to do someday...I would hope to stay here again. Although Cassia is located in the heart of Venice it is in a quiet palazzo. As you step off the elevator to your penthouse suite you are enveloped by true Venetian style. Every elegant room in the apartment is spacious, even by North American standards. It is exquisitely appointed with sophisticated furnishings. The outdoor terrace on the main level is perfect for gatherings during the day and the altana for evenings. All 5 of us fell in love with this place. The interior was roomy and beautiful. We could not have asked for a better location. The staff was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. I really cannot say enough good things about this apartment. For anyone that plans on going to the airport via water taxi I would recommend leaving at least 4 hours prior to your flight. We were told and had a water taxi arranged to pick us up 2 1/2 hours before our flight. This was not enough time. We were still standing in the passport line when they started to board our flight, the security ended up just passing everyone through as there was a long line. Also beware that it is a hike from where the water taxi drops you off and the airport, save at least $30 euros for a porter that will drive you to the terminal building with all of your luggage. We stayed in this apartment June 2017 and absolutely loved the unit. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). First, the unit itself is superb. Our last visit to Venice we stayed at one of the Dandolo suites designed by Pierre-Yves Rouchon at the Danielli. We loved that suite but really felt the design and amenities of the Cassia apartment met or exceeded that suite. Really, it was that good. Just a beautiful apartment. In addition, the unit is quiet, beds are comfortable, air conditioning worked perfectly and everything was clean. Meticulous, really. Refrigerator was stocked with bottled water when we needed. There was plenty of space for everyone. The children loved the upstairs loft. Access was easily with an elevator that takes you directly to the room. The location is wonderful as well. Right next to the Westin Europa, everything in Venice was within easy reach. San Marco right around the corner, shops literally at your doorstep. Apart from the unit and location the apartment was thoughtfully attended to everyday by staff who made sure we had everything we needed and who kept it nice and tidy. We are already planning our trip back and will without hesitation use this apartment if it is available. We were beyond ecstatic with our recent trip to Venice with Italy Perfect during Christmas 2016. In 2009 we visited a Paris Perfect property that was beyond gorgeous as well. Both of our experiences were beyond perfect. Our apartment in Venice was absolutely wonderful. The location was ideal and the maid service was spectacular. The villa was turn key beautiful and the kitchen was immaculate and provided all needed supplies for creating fabulous meals . We are willing to refer your company to any client or individual.
