Perfect Week in Florence at Torella

We (2 of us) absolutely enjoyed our week in Florence in the Torella Apartment. Torella was perfectly comfortable, with a large terrace and an amazing rooftop bedroom (with 180 degree views). After a day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to pick up a bottle of wine from one of the nearby shops and sit outside watching the light change from day to night (partial view of the Arno). The apartment was comfortable and sufficiently equipped. The kitchen is small, but we weren't cooking, so it was fine for basics. There are a LOT of stairs within the apartment, but we knew that in advance. The stairs simply justified all the gelato we ate that week. The building is in a fantastic location, directly across the Arno from the Uffizi, and is well-maintained. We had excellent communication in advance of our trip. The greeter and the building's doorman were friendly and helpful, the list of recommended restaurants and other services was excellent. A gourmet grocery two blocks away provided just about everything we needed. Wi-fi worked well. We highly recommend Italy Perfect (and Paris Perfect, with whom we booked previously).

Great apartment in a nice location

Apartment was as pictured, clean and well equipped. The greeter was there when we arrived so that was seamless. The terrace was wonderful. The location was excellent and within walking distance to everything. After a day out in the city it was very nice to come home to a quiet, well equipped place to relax. I'd highly recommend it.

Unforgettable Florence

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days. It made our Florence trip fantastic. The place was clean and we had a wonderful dinner on the patio overlooking the river. The bedroom had spectacular views out of all windows. It was in the perfect location and center for all museums, restaurants and entertainment. We would highly recommend this place.

Our stay in Torella

We had a great stay. The apartment was exactly as advertised and was perfect for two. We often spent the cocktail hour on the terrace listening to the bells and watching the changing facades of San Miniato and Santa Croce. Everyone associated with the building was professional and competent, and also offered practically useful advice about cabs, shops, restaurants, etc. We walked everywhere but the airport which shows how central the apartment is.
