We had a lovely 3 week stay. This well appointed loft apartment was perfect for an extended visit. We were able to navigate the city easily via tube and bus. There were many nearby shops and restaurants, as well as museums a few blocks away. The apartment was quiet, clean and well maintained, and any questions we had were answered immediately by the staff. While I'm sure the stairs to the loft are not for everyone, we loved them.

My daughter and I stayed at the Queensgate and from the first moment we walked in the door we felt like the apartment belonged to us. It was immaculate, cozy, well equipped, decorated to our liking and was in a beautiful neighborhood (felt like Park Ave in NYC). Our greeter was well informed, the office staff answered all our questions and the driver was more than accommodating. I would highly recommend staying in this apartment as it is convenient to the Tube, buses and walking distance to Kensington Palace. My daughter and I came from Paris Perfect and the transition was so smooth for the second part of our vacation.

My wife and I came to London for a 6 day stay for a vacation. We wanted to be close to a tube stop in a nice neighborhood without spending a fortune. The Queensgate Studio flat met all of our criteria. In South Kensington within a 5 minute walk to the Gloucester tube stop (Circle, District and Picadilly lines) which can get you anywhere within London. We were picked up at the airport by Lushi (highly recommend) and brought directly to the flat where we were met and given a tour to make sure we knew where everything was and how it all worked. The flat is lovely - not big - but quite sufficient for two adults - I would not recommend fitting anymore people into this flat. We were able to go shopping locally (around the corner) and buy some food items to make breakfast almost every morning in the flat before we started our busy days. They are kind enough to start you off with some milk, OJ, coffee, and most importantly, a bottle of bubbly!! The steps up to the loft (where the bed is located) took some getting used to - would definitely not recommend this for older individuals or those with issues climbing stairs. Overall, we would definitely stay here again - great location!

The Queensgate apt. was lovely. The perfect location for a London stay. The painted ceilings in particular were a beautiful surprise. I am always impressed with the carefully thought out detail put into each apartment. I have high standards for accommodations and Paris/London Perfect has never disappointed me. Every place we have stayed has always felt like a home away from home. This is an excellent company that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great travel experience. What they offer from transportation, tours, information and accommodations, is top notch. Thank you for the effort that is put into creating all of this for all who are fortunate to discover it.

These ceilings are amazing and so was your staff. Big thank you to Daniel, Ed and Oksana for making our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. Perfect loft studio for two. Our son who works in London also had room to sleep with us a few nights. Close to two tube stations ( South Kensington and Gloucester) grocery stores and great restaurants. Please visit the London Perfect websites and select some tours. All our tours were a hit. Second stay in London and another great time thanks to London Perfect.

Great location, close to Hyde Park, V&A, Gloucester Road tube station (buy the Oyster card!). Many attractions are within walking distance. Enjoy a nice walk to Buckingham Palace, etc. via Hyde Park. Near several embassies, universities, safe to walk at night. First floor, easy in and out; no view, a bit of street noise but subsides at night. Stairs to bedroom were only used when we went to bed, so no issue and a good muscle stretch. No spices, etc. beyond salt/pepper. We were there five nights and didn't cook dinner once though. Made breakfasts. Nepresso and Bodum coffee maker; electric water. London Perfect equips you with some coffee pods, coffee, tea, jam and some nice welcoming items in the fridge. Easy grocery shopping at tube or walk to Whole Foods. The greeter, in our case, Daniel, is there to welcome you and explain everything, give you ideas, etc. We hit most of the 'triple triangles' on Rick Steve's list in four full days (there was a copy of the detailed Rick Steve's London in the flat). There's also a great map hanging on the wall, more London books, DVDs. Lushi drove us from/to airport; was well worth the cost. We were very pleased with the unit and will definitely be returning!

This is our second time working with London Perfect and the service and quality are as perfect as our first trip. From the smile and professionalism of Lushi who greeted us at the airport and took us into London, to the warmth and hospitality of staff who prepared Queensgate beautifully, to the informative introduction of our greeter who pointed out all the features of Queensgate, our London stay over the Xmas holidays was wonderful. Queensgate is a relaxing retreat during busy days of exploring London. The studio is conveniently located close to museums, Kensington Park, Gloucester underground station (although we as a family of four took Uber everywhere); Waitrose supermarket (look for the daily reduced items), and restaurants on Gloucester Street (try Memories of India). The flat is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic hideaway; yet also comfortable for a petite family. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and safety of South Kensington and will stay again and recommend this flat and other similar London Perfect properties in this area. Thank you London Perfect! This is our second time at a Perfect location ( Paris 2013) very nice accomodations. Nicely appointed and amentities, ie soap, coffee, paper towels, etc. We are very comfortable in London, so we did not need to use the office staff, but its nice to know they are there if needed. I strongly rec'd using their car service, its just so easy and they bring you right into apt. So much nicer than a hotel, coffee in your PJ's, a kithchen to make snacks, etc. I will def use again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Queensgate. While we chose it for proximity to the V&A museum, its Tube links were great, making it easy to get around London. A bonus was being on the same Tube line as Kings Cross for ease of access to St Pancras and the Eurostar. The apartment was well appointed, and we self-catered using some of the local shops, particularly Partridges in Gloucester Road. The washing machine was also well used! The staircase was a bit of a challenge, which is something less agile guest may wish to consider. All in all, we recommend this apartment as a pleasant place for a stay in London.

Working with London Perfect is very easy and we booked the driver from Heathrow both times; MUCH easier to have a driver and just enjoy the ride when jetlagged. My daughter and I had a wonderful week at the Queensgate Loft. The apartment, though small, was perfect for our needs. Everything we needed was provided and in excellent condition. After very long days the comfortable bed was indeed appreciated! We loved the neighborhood which had easy access to the Tube but was away from all the congestion. We were given great eating suggestions and used the services of Lushi to take us back and forth to the airport. Great service! My only concern of the apartment would be the heating system. We were very warm upstairs in the loft but thankfully there was a fan. We had turned the radiator almost off and still it was warm upstairs. I am not sure how that would work in the summer. All in all it was a great week and we would certainly stay in the same apartment again. The proximity to the museums was also very nice as we could just pop in whenever.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our recent stay at the Queensgate loft. Everyone at London Perfect was quick to respond to email questions, and they were incredibly accommodating of our needs when it came to our infant son. Booking Lushi to take us to and from the airport was a wonderfully convenient added bonus (seriously, book his service rather than dealing with the airport cabs or the Tube). The flat was as clean and well-kept as the pictures promised it would be, and the location could not have been better. The guide provided in the apartment recommended a number of local restaurants, and the ones we tried certainly lived up to the great reviews. I've spent a fair amount of time in London in the past, but staying in the Queensgate flat actually made me feel like a local. I wouldn't hesitate to book with London Perfect again!

We have returned home after a simply wonderful week in London. We loved the Queensgate apartment. What a clever use of space! It was very comfortable for the two of us and we got the hang of the stairs right away. Your restaurant recommendations were great. We loved both Clark's and L'etranger...delicious dinners at both. We'd also like to recommend to you a shop for prepared food....Ottolenghi....on Holland Street right off of Kensington Church Street. I was given one of his cookbooks as a gift and was very excited to learn that he had a store close to the apartment. We brought a delicious dinner in on Tuesday night to have before going to the London Symphony. A fabulous finale to the week! We are already talking about 2013....will it be the Queensgate in London again, or back to the Grenache apartment in Paris? We'll let you know as soon as we know ourselves. P.S. The only thing we couldn't fine in the apartment was a set of demi-tasse cups for the Nespresso machine. We looked everywhere! The washing machine worked great!

My 19 year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Queen's Gate. We couldn't have stayed in a better location and the apartment was lovely. It had everything we needed and the booklet of information came in very handy. We tried many of the suggested restaurants and enjoyed all of them. We liked being able to walk out the door and walk in any direction to get to many restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. We didn't make a lot of use of the kitchen but it was nice to have the facilities on the few days that we just wanted to grab a bite to eat between excursions. We highly recommend booking Lushi for your ride from the airport. It was nice to speak with a local upon arrival and he was very courteous and friendly. We hope to stay at the Queen's Gate again during out next visit to London.

Location: Excellent. Across from Natural History Museum and near V&A museum. Short walk to Harrods. Two tube stops nearby. Unlimited shops in neighborhood, from Boots to Waitrose. Lots of good restaurants close at hand. Apartment: exactly as pictured. Beautiful decor from paintings to "frescoes". First floor, street level, (not below). Bedroom: cozy, luxurious sheets and gorgeous duvet cover, very good reading lights. Kitchen: full range, oven, microwave, refrig, washing machine. Granite counter, sleek cabinets, 2 coffeepots (the espresso one was amazingly good..and we had just come from a few weeks in Rome so we knew what a good cup of espresso tasted like). Bathroom: spacious, well lit, plenty of counterspace and drawers, good water pressure. Entertainment: T.V. with multiple channels. Tons of London guide books and some great novels/mysteries. Information folder on how everything worked in the apartment and clear instructions for everything from trash disposal to where exactly to get more coffee pods for that great little espresson machine. Note: recommended driver also very nice, helpful and prompt. We can't wait to try one of the Paris Perfect apartments for our next big adventure!

Loved, loved, loved Queen's Gate!! I was there by myself and felt soooo comfortable. Very nicely appointed kitchen. Lovely big bathroom. Super comfy bed with lovely linens. Yes, it's a studio but the loft bedroom gives it more a one bedroom feel. Lots of tour books and resources on the bookshelf. Free wifi. Unbelievable neighborhood, just down from Kensington Gardens, about 10 minutes walk from Gloucester tube station (which is also on the Picadilly line with access to Heathrow). When I was planning this trip I looked at the rates I paid for the last couple of hotels I stayed at in London. Queen's Gate was no more expensive for so much more!! My dealings with Philippe and Madelyn were very professional and all was as advertised. These are people who obviously care about their business and their guests. I would jump at the chance to stay there again!!

My mother (75), Aunt (80) and I (49) had a terrific one week stay at the Queensgate Apartment in February 2010. The location was ideal - so close to beautiful Kensington Gardens, the V&A Museum, the Gloucester tube station, the Kensington High Street. We got to know the neighbourhood and felt 100% safe the entire time. We used Lushi's drivers on three occasions and were very impressed with Lushi and his staff. Very professional and knowledgeable. Tillie showed us into the apartment upon our arrival from King's Cross Station and walked me to the local deli to get provisions for our first night and morning. The little touches like the grocery cart, big umbrella, and great selection of guide books and DVDs are what sets this apartment apart. It truly felt like our home from the moment we arrived. It's a small flat but space is used very well and we had lots of room to hang and store our clothes and the three of us never felt crowded. The kitchen and bathroom have all the "mod cons" and the Victorian paintings on the ceiling are truly beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful experience in a magic city. I'd be pleased to recommend the Queensgate to anyone who wished to speak with me about my experience.

We took our granddaughter to London for her 16th birthday, at her request. The Queen's Gate flat was perfect for us. It was small but beautifully fitted and we had everything we could need. I loved being able to wash clothes! The location was great and restaurants, shopping and tube were handy. I really appreciated that the flat was so clean and everything fit together like on a ship. Lovely appliances and attractive furnishings. The stairs were tricky but we finally got the rhythm of them! Loved the whole trip and our grand-daughter Mikaela had the trip of a lifetime!

The Queensgate Studio Loft Review

This letter is about 1 year exactly since our return from London and Queensgate! We have been caring for, moving and selling the home of my father since our trip and I have just never gotten to this post. I guess the fact that I still want to post this is testament to the absolutely wonderful trip that we had! Queensgate was perfect for our family of three even though two of the three of us are over 6 feet tall! We gave the loft to our college son and slept wonderfully on the most comfortable twin to king sized sofa bed that we have ever slept on. We immediately tried to buy one for our guest room after returning home! The location is perfect and we rode the tube everywhere, and even the train to Portsmouth for a great day by the water. We loved the darling flat and had fun shopping, cooking and enjoying the beautiful surroundings! This was our first trip to London and we cannot wait to return! Madelyn and Philippe were the most gracious hosts and every piece of advice was helpful. Lushi met us at the airport and made the jet lag easier by taking us directly to our apartment and dropped us back at the airport all too quickly it seemed. After talking to veteran London goers we realized that we saw more than many of them have seen in several trips but it was easily accomplished at this central location. The pictures can't do this smartly utilized space justice and the pictures are beautiful. I would not be able to come up with even one small complaint...don't delay and book your trip to London; we are anxiously awaiting the time that we can do another trip and there is no question who we will book with!

My stay was truly perfect at the Queen's Gate apartment. The design was superb! I travel frequently and so many details were not missed: premium soaps, the espresso machine, and the abundant welcome package. The bed and linens were so comfortable I had a tough time getting up everyday! Highly recommended... thank you, thank you!

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed the Queensgate studio on our recent trip. It was so great to live like a "Londoner" for the week in your impeccable flat - it was the perfect size for us and the loft couldn't have been more comfortable! Also wanted to thank you, Philippe (and Tessie!) for being so wonderful to deal with! It was truly our pleasure doing business with you. PS - Can't wait to plan another trip in the future! Hopefully one of your flats in Paris next time...?

I am an interior designer who has traveled extensively and has stayed in leading hotels all over the world. During my recent trip to London I booked a wonderful flat through London Perfect. Madelyn and Philippe were wonderful to work with and the flat was exquisite. This small flat is beautifully designed and decorated. It has all the amenities you expect from a 5 star hotel including wonderful soft duvets, down pillows, and even an expresso maker. Madelyn has truly thought of everything to make your stay pleasant. While small, the flat has soaring 14 foot ceilings decorated with restored period oil paintings and large windows to let in the natural light. It is so well designed that it feels really spacious. It is truly a jewel in the heart of London with shopping, museums, and wonderful restaurants in walking distance. I hate to leave this lovely flat and hope to return very soon. I would highly recommend London Perfect and the Queens Gate Flat.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed our stay at the Queensgate apartment. Never have I seen such beautifully inventive use of such a small space! Everything was absolutely comfortable, exceptionally beautiful, and truly perfect. As in all of the ParisPerfect and LondonPerfect apartments in which we've stayed, Madeline's sense of design and hospitality is awesome. Thanks for the opportunity to "live" in London.

The Queensgate Studio Loft Review

This was our first apartment rental and we have found it a wonderful way to experience living like a Londoner. It's located in a nice and safe residential neighborhood. Many sights and museums are close by so we didn't even use the tube the first two days of our stay! The apartment is small but comfortable and very nicely appointed in a contemporary style. It has a nice roomy bathroom relative to the apartment size. Madelyn and Philippe have been wonderful to work with. We look forward to staying at one of their apartments in Paris!
