Terrace Luxury in Rome!
by Molly ArbogastOur family had a wonderful stay at the Spagna apartment in Rome! We had 5 people in our group (me, my husband, two middle-school sons and my mother). All the rooms are very nicely decorated, beds were comfortable and the terrace was amazing. It was a bonus to have a large dining room, which we used every day. Each room has a dedicated bathroom, which provided privacy for everyone. The weather was not great during our stay, but the picture-window, sliding glass doors overlooking the terrace provided the perfect view (at one point there was even a hail storm!). We look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Italy Perfect for making our Rome memory such a wonderful one!
Perfect location for a family
by J. MitchellThree bedrooms with three bathrooms and an outdoor patio area. A five minute walk from the Spanish Steps. Place was clean, well-equipped and a perfect location for a family or some friends. Would return in a heartbeat.
The apartment is absolutely stunning
by HEATHERBThe spagna villa was wonderful. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning and beyond our expectations. The owner and daughter could not have been nicer and more helpful. Our stay there was perfect. The surrounding area was close to everything yet quiet and safe.My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Rome and we would highly recommend staying at Spagna apt. Thank you !
Could not have been happier
by KerryThe apartment was beautiful, clean spacious and provided everything we needed. Our host were always ready to assist and they are lovely people. The location is central to all you will need when visiting zoomed. Could not have been happier.
Beautifully furnished and completely stocked
by MMGDLocation: Perfect. set between Via Babuino and Via del Corso. One does not want for anything from upscale stores of every sort to small restaurants and an easy walk to many historical sites. Two grocery stores are about three blocks away - one selling organic food.Accommodation: Perfect. Four of us enjoyed this magnificent apartment. The highlight - at least for us - was the terrace. A lemon tree, lime tree and a fig tree. And, church bells ringing in the background. (Only a soft murmur of the city noises can be heard) Few places - apartment or not - can offer as much. Add to that lovely flowers and lots of herbs and one can hide out for days. Beautifully furnished and completely stocked - we could have served an elegant Thanksgiving dinner with ease. Nellie: Perfect. Helpful and kind in everyway. Italy Perfect: Perfect. Got us from the airport with some changes due to late flights; and, later to the train station as well. Rocco and his van are definitely the way to go. The Rome guides suggested on their website exceeded our expectations.Complaints: None!
We have highly recommended you to our friends
by The Valentine'sWe arrived at the airport to our name being displayed right in front of us and we were escorted directly in comfort to our beautiful apartment. Thank you for recommending Rocco's transport service. They arrived early to bring us back to the airport too. This apartment was beautiful and to meet Beatrice who kindly had some goodies for us to enjoy was delightful. The location of this fabulous apt. Is beyond amazing. We walked everywhere to all the sites. To the Vatican we took a taxi but wandered back. The best shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Carolina plus the apartments book and perfect Italy had great recommendations we used. We also highly recommend Carolina who Italy Perfect also suggested as a guide. Carolina was the most amazing guide and lovely lady. Our 16 year old son learned so much from a book she used that we bought one. His history teacher texted me to tell us how much our son enjoyed the author and guide and what a trip!! We absolutely loved the terrace for breakfast and a glass of wine at night. The owner obviously loves gardening and the lemon trees made us feel like we were in the country not the center of Rome!! This apartment felt extremely safe and was quiet for being in the location it was. Thank you perfect Italy for your amazing suggestions and accommodations. We have highly recommended you to our friends and for the first time kept a file of this trip. We will be back again sometime to Rome and hopefully to this apartment.
The Spagna apartment was a perfect home
by Sean BWe booked Spagna for our family of 4 based on the 3 bedroom/bathroom setup and outstanding location. We have used this service before and they do a great job with setting you up in the apartment, but also in helping arrange transportation. The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable for us as each of our teen children had their own bedroom and bathroom while we had our own suite with jetted tub. The apartment is huge and we loved the large giant patio where we listened to music streaming in from the street each evening, which added to the charm. The building is beautiful and quiet while perfectly located. We started and ended each day in the lovely Piazza di Poppolo, where the taxis convene, just a short walk on a street closed to cars, but lined with musicians, excellent shopping and outstanding restaurants. The location is ideal, with the Vatican City, Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain all within walking distance. The Spagna apartment was a perfect home for our week in Rome.
Located near great shopping and restaurants
by The HogansWe stayed in Spagna in late June, early July and it was terrific! This home is really a very spacious, well furnished, really comfortable apartment that is located close to the Spanish Steps in a great neighborhood. It had very nice spaces to relax as well as cook and eat but best of all for us was the terrace. Large, beautifully landscaped, and totally enjoyable as a place to read, eat, or converse the terrace was a huge plus. The apartment is located near great shopping and restaurants and the owners thoughtfully provided lots of suggestions of how best to use and enjoy the property as well as the neighborhood. We had a great, memorable experience at Spagna!
We had a terrific stay in Rome
by BradItaly Perfect made sure everything ran smoothly. The apartment was WONDERFUL as was the very kind owner. Location was unbeatable and the place was very spacious. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful spot near the Spanish Steps!
A vibrant and fun-filled location
by Jen GPerfect location! We adored our stay in Rome in large part due to the outstanding location and roomy accommodations of the Spagna flat. A vibrant and fun-filled location, it was perfect when traveling with teens. We were able to walk everywhere easily and loved all the convenient shopping.
Things to See & Do

One of the most famous piazzas in the world with the beautiful steps rising from the Barcaccia ("bad boat") fountain to the Trinita dei Monti church. Neighborhood for designer shopping and people-watching.
Trevi Fountain (12 mins Walking)
Beautiful Baroque fountain, the largest in Rome, a city of fountains. Here is where you throw 3 coins over your shoulder to ensure you will return to Rome.
Pantheon (13 mins Walking)
Must-visit. This temple to all the gods (pan-theon in Greek) breathes history starting with its architecture from 2000 years ago. It is the only complete monument from Roman times. Built of concrete, the hemispherical roof is of one piece with its hole in the center.
Piazza Navona (15 mins Walking)
Iconic piazza of Rome where Romans once raced their chariots. Three beautiful fountains the chief being the Fountain of the Four rivers. Enjoy street musicians and small vendors. Great place to hang out, dine and have a gelato.
St. Peter's Basilica (15 via Subway)
One of the holiest catholic churches, the church of the Pope. It is very large and filled with inspiring and beautiful art and areas. A tour is recommended.
Vatican Museums (15 via Subway)
The incomparable art collections of the Popes over the centuries. Unique and historically significant places such as the Sistine Chapel. Tour guide and early arrival are recommended.
Coliseum (25 mins Walking)
Icon of Rome and Roman times, the arena of the gladiators.
