Elegance and luxury near the Spanish Steps in Rome describe this lovely apartment with three bedrooms and an expansive terrace.

This is the Rome of your dreams: a gorgeous apartment in the most upscale, centrally located neighborhood in the historic center of Rome. It is comparable to a five star hotel but more spacious and private.

Location

The Piazza di Spagna area is one of the most desirable in all of Rome. This is a very chic location where you`ll see young and old alike rushing about to do their shopping and, later in the afternoon, out for a leisurely stroll decked out in their finest Italian designer duds. The area is filled with high end clothing, linen and fine giftware boutiques.

Exterior

It is a spacious and beautifully appointed home in a meticulously maintained building. Every bedroom opens onto a terrace or balcony. Situated in an elegant fully restored palazzo on a small street that is closed to through traffic just off the historic Piazza di Spagna, or Spanish Steps, with it`s famous fountain and beautiful steps. It lies near Via del Babuino and Via dei Greci. The Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Via Veneto, Borghese Gardens, and the Pantheon are all within reach by foot. Excellent restaurants, cafes, and shopping in the immediate neighborhood make this apartment a special home for a special Rome vacations.

Interior

A nicely appointed entry way greets you as you enter the apartment and opens onto a living room which is comfortably furnished with double sofas and two upholstered armchairs. Fine antique end tables and writing desks, softly draped silk curtains and wood floors complete the refined look. Imagine sitting with family or friends in this beautiful living room in your Roman home away from home. Another great feature of this apartment is that it is very quiet for sleeping at night. Noise is so often a problem with city living, so finding a Roman refuge that offers space, elegance, a wonderful terrace and quiet is a tall order.

Opening off the living room is the large terrace, a landscaped outdoor living space that lets you celebrate the joy of Mediterranean living. The terrace is an outdoor room, where you`re sure to while away many hours al fresco, enjoying time relaxing while knowing that the magic of Rome is at your doorstep. A retractable, electric awning offers refuge from the summer sun for leisurely lunches or cocktail hours out-of-doors.

The dining room has some beautiful Italian antique pieces and seats up to 8 people.

Location: Perfect. set between Via Babuino and Via del Corso. One does not want for anything from upscale stores of every sort to small restaurants and an easy walk to many historical sites. Two grocery stores are about three blocks away - one selling organic food.Accommodation: Perfect. Four of us enjoyed this magnificent apartment. The highlight - at least for us - was the terrace. A lemon tree, lime tree and a fig tree. And, church bells ringing in the background. (Only a soft murmur of the city noises can be heard) Few places - apartment or not - can offer as much. Add to that lovely flowers and lots of herbs and one can hide out for days. Beautifully furnished and completely stocked - we could have served an elegant Thanksgiving dinner with ease. Nellie: Perfect. Helpful and kind in everyway. Italy Perfect: Perfect. Got us from the airport with some changes due to late flights; and, later to the train station as well. Rocco and his van are definitely the way to go. The Rome guides suggested on their website exceeded our expectations.Complaints: None! [Thank you for your great review! We arrived at the airport to our name being displayed right in front of us and we were escorted directly in comfort to our beautiful apartment. Thank you for recommending Rocco’s transport service. They arrived early to bring us back to the airport too. This apartment was beautiful and to meet Beatrice who kindly had some goodies for us to enjoy was delightful. The location of this fabulous apt. Is beyond amazing. We walked everywhere to all the sites. To the Vatican we took a taxi but wandered back. The best shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Carolina plus the apartments book and perfect Italy had great recommendations we used. We also highly recommend Carolina who Italy Perfect also suggested as a guide. Carolina was the most amazing guide and lovely lady. Our 16 year old son learned so much from a book she used that we bought one. His history teacher texted me to tell us how much our son enjoyed the author and guide and what a trip!! We absolutely loved the terrace for breakfast and a glass of wine at night. The owner obviously loves gardening and the lemon trees made us feel like we were in the country not the center of Rome!! This apartment felt extremely safe and was quiet for being in the location it was. Thank you perfect Italy for your amazing suggestions and accommodations. We have highly recommended you to our friends and for the first time kept a file of this trip. We will be back again sometime to Rome and hopefully to this apartment. We booked Spagna for our family of 4 based on the 3 bedroom/bathroom setup and outstanding location. We have used this service before and they do a great job with setting you up in the apartment, but also in helping arrange transportation. The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable for us as each of our teen children had their own bedroom and bathroom while we had our own suite with jetted tub. The apartment is huge and we loved the large giant patio where we listened to music streaming in from the street each evening, which added to the charm. The building is beautiful and quiet while perfectly located. We started and ended each day in the lovely Piazza di Poppolo, where the taxis convene, just a short walk on a street closed to cars, but lined with musicians, excellent shopping and outstanding restaurants. The location is ideal, with the Vatican City, Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain all within walking distance. The Spagna apartment was a perfect home for our week in Rome. We stayed in Spagna in late June, early July 2018 and it was terrific! This home is really a very spacious, well furnished, really comfortable apartment that is located close to the Spanish Steps in a great neighborhood. It had very nice spaces to relax as well as cook and eat but best of all for us was the terrace. Large, beautifully landscaped, and totally enjoyable as a place to read, eat, or converse the terrace was a huge plus. The apartment is located near great shopping and restaurants and the owners thoughtfully provided lots of suggestions of how best to use and enjoy the property as well as the neighborhood. The only negative was the coffee maker which was very slow...took an hour to brew a pot of coffee. That said, we had a great, memorable experience at Spagna! [Thank you so much, we are happy you enjoyed staying at the Spagna! Our sincerest apologies for the coffee maker being slow, we'll have the greeter check the coffee pot, it could be due to a calcium build up due to the very hard water in Rome. The Italy Perfect Team]

We found the villa to be spotless, well stocked, and in the most prime of locations: in the middle of the Spanish Steps area and yet on a quiet street. We love having three bedrooms for two couples as it allowed us to stow bags out of our rooms. The owner left a beautiful basket of snacks and a bottle of wine. She was a delight to work with. The unit included CD's, guidebooks, fresh flowers...everything you could imagine wanting. We loved Il Come Lait for gelato and Pizza and Mozzarella for the best slice in Italy. Pierluigi provided a magnificent lunch venue and the food was outstanding. We used Limos in Rome for our first day of touring.I found Italy Perfect to be professional and very easy to work with on this booking. “Thank you for the review Cynthia, and for the tips for future guests. The Spagna Apartment is a very beautiful home with a great outdoor space..... a garden within the city. The apartment feels like being home in a gracious well decorated setting. The location is superb. The only caveat I found was there was very low water pressure in the bathroom I had.... the master bath. Otherwise the apartment is truly fabulous! [Thank you so much for your lovely description “a garden in the city...gracious...superb...fabulous”;-) This year Italy had a drought that was still affecting water levels and pressures during your stay. Maybe you noticed that the water spigots across the city were turned off, usually they run constantly...thanks to the aqueducts that originated 2000 years ago! The Italy Perfect Team]

This was the fourth time we have used Italy Perfect to rent an apartment in Rome, which should tell you something right there! The Spagna apartment was absolutely wonderful in every way. We had our driver (we always use Rome Cabs for transfers) contact our greeter as we were leaving the airport to let her know we were on the way, and she was waiting to greet us upon our arrival. Both the greeter and her mother were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is beautiful and well-appointed. The beds are comfortable, there is good water pressure in all the bathrooms and the terrace is amazing. One thing to note is that the bathroom for the main bedroom does not have an actual shower, but rather a "telephone-style" shower head in the tub. As with most bathrooms in Europe, shelf space is almost non-existent, which can be a challenge with four women. There is a full kitchen, and although we didn't use it, it has everything you would need. The apartment location is fantastic - right between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. It is easy to walk almost anywhere, but if you'd rather take a taxi, there is a taxi stand right in Piazza del Popolo. We ate at three restaurants that are within very easy walking distance from the apartment: Hostaria da Pietro, Edy Ristorante and Ristorante Margutta, and I can recommend all of them. One word of caution - we used to enjoy going to Cafe Canova, which is right on Piazza del Popolo, and while it's still good for people watching and maybe a glass of wine, the food can only be described as bad - even the gelato. Two things I want to point out about the apartment: if you are going in colder months, even October (which is when we were there) make sure you ask Stefania how to work the heat. Also, if there are several of you trying to use wi-fi, it's quite slow. Overall, the apartment was absolutely wonderful and I very highly recommend it! When we arrived we were welcomed by Stephania and her daughter who helped us with the suitcases and showed us the apartment which is located in central Rome on a very quiet street. This apartment is a jewel, very nicely and elegantly furnished, spacious, with all the comfort and space that we could possibly need. It has a large terrace where we had dinner every night under the stars. Romantic and peaceful in the middle of a very busy Rome. We want to thank the owner and her daughter for all their help and support and for the goodies which we found upon arrival, including a delicious bottle of italian red wine!! We hope to return next year for a longer period of time!! We would always recommend Italy Perfect to our friends. Our thanks to all their very professional team. My husband and I rented the Spagna apartment for a week over the Christmas holiday. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We were met at the airport by a terrific car service recommended by Italy Perfect and taken to the apartment where we were greeted by Stefania and her wonderful mother (the owner of Spagna). I can't tell you how exciting it was to step into this beautiful, elegant apartment and know it was ours for a week! And that terrace! There were cut flowers to greet us, as well as a lovely bottle of wine and an assortment of Italian delicacies. Stefania walked us through the apartment and made sure we knew how to operate everything. We were given a great list of recommended restaurants, bakeries, open-air markets, etc. We felt very taken care of by the whole Italy Perfect team. The apartment is in a very secure building and on a very quiet street. But go a block in either direction and you are surrounded by great restaurants and shopping and close to the Spanish steps. We did a lot of shopping and restaurant-hopping, but we also bought groceries and cooked a bit at Spagna - it's such a lovely environment, it would have been a shame not to! We highly recommend Spagna and highly recommend Italy Perfect for your perfect Rome vacation. [Thank you Mari, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay! The Italy Perfect Team]

My wife and I spent 7 wonderful nights in Rome at Spagna. We used the car service recommended by Italy Perfect, and even though our arrival was late, the driver was right there to take us into Rome when we landed. We were met at the apartment by our host Stephania, her mother (the owner) and her daughter- who were all delightful. Fresh cut flowers in most all of the rooms, the place was clean, we were given the grand tour, showed how to use the appliances, given maps and guide books of Rome, and directions to the nearest grocery store. There was a welcome bottle of wine and a few very nice grocery items waiting for us. Stephania could not have been more gracious and helpful during our stay- giving us directions to the near by open air market and to a magnificent little bakery.... I broke a glass table top accidentally, called her to report, she just said no problem- leave me 50 Euros and it is all good. We walked everywhere and never took a cab except to and from the airport the entire time we were there. Everything Ancient Rome was within 25 minute walk from the apartment. This apartment gives the impression that someone with excellent taste has invited you to stay. It is not only elegant but totally functioning in every detail, so that you simply have to find where the corkscrew is, because you can be confident that there is one. Five of us lived in comfortable luxury for a week. The palazzo has been extensively modernized with good security and in a very central location. Sitting or reading on the very private terrace is wonderful; cooking is convenient; shopping is nearby. We would have been happy to move in for a longer stay.

We rented this property for a seven night family vacation in Rome. It was our first time to rent an apartment so did a lot of research prior to making the commitment. We loved the location and the pictures looked great but , ultimately, it was the comfort we had in working with Italy Perfect that got us over the line. They gave timely answers to all our questions and seemed to have a lot of experience. Contact with the greeter was made via text the day prior to arrival. He was very easy to work with and gave timely responses. On arrival we also met the owner and had a tour of the house. It was very clean and there were no surprises, it was exactly what we expected from the photos and description. Our primary reservations with staying in an apartment (vs hotel) were quality of the wireless internet, bathrooms and comfortable beds. We were not disappointed in any of these three categories, everything in the apartment worked fine. The location was perfect, it is in walking distance to all of the major sites and touristic areas. The longest walk was 30 minutes to the Vatican. In seven days we never used a taxi or Metro. There are dozens of great restaurants, shopping and grocery store all within 10 minute walk. The apartment building is very safe. There is a security guard around most of the day and at night there are two locked gates between the apartment and the street. In summary, great managers, great apartment and great neighbourhood/ location. Two thumbs up !

My husband and I rented Spanga Apt. in Rome Nov 6, 2015 - Nov 15. It was a perfect visit from our arranged pick up at the airport, thru our departure pick up. Our “Greeter” Giacomo, the owner;s grandson, was waiting on the corner of the non-commercial street San Giacomo to walk us down to the apartment. The huge wrought iron gate opened onto a beautiful courtyard overseen by a caretaker who waved from his window. There is an elevator which though small, accommodated our too much luggage and us. The owners was waiting in the opened door to welcome us and join the tour along with Giacomo. It is an elegant, beautifully decorated, but completely comfortable, well cared, for home. The luscious living room opens onto a generous patio where we enjoyed breakfast surrounded by flowers and sunshine. Two bedrooms open onto this patio which has a washing machine hidden away, the master bedroom has a balcony over the courtyard. The master has a Jacuzzi bath which I soaked in happily, all bedrooms and baths were lovely. The owner showed me how fully equipped her kitchen was so that I could have made any kind of meal. Mid stay, the apartment was cleaned and made ready for our second guests, with fresh everything. The location afforded easy walks the Spanish Steps and the most wonderful shopping and eating opportunities, yet San Giacomo is private and quiet. We totally recommend this home, being there gave us the best of Rome. [Thank you so much. The Italy Perfect Team]

This is a large, tastefully decorated apartment that my husband and I shared with my sister and brother-in-law. Overall we very much enjoyed the accommodations and found the place to be comfortable and peaceful. The location is fantastic. We walked almost everywhere, and the metro was a short walk away for the few times we took public transit. I highly recommend the Borghese Gallery in the Villa Borghese gardens; it was one of the highlights of our trip and within walking distance of the apartment. Just be aware that tickets must be purchased in advance, either at the ticket office or online. I found Italy Perfect to be very easy to work with and there were no issues with the property reservations. The information they provided was extremely detailed and up-to-date. I would most definitely use Italy Perfect again, and will recommend their service to my friends and family.

My husband , myself and our 4 children ages 12, 15, 16, 17 stayed at Spagna in late April for a week.As you gaze around the antique filled apt. with the large terrace dripping in sunshine, filled with colorful potted flowers and greenery all around , you will be pinching yourself and asking: is this real? Spagna set the tone for one of our best vacations, ever.We are a family that has been lucky enough to travel in a wide variety of places staying in many different types of lodging and even the teens recognized how unique this setting was. There were fresh flowers nestled in every imaginable corner of the apt. (including the marble master bath) in beautiful vases of silver and ceramic . There were bowls of hard candies wrapped in colorful cellophane situated around the apt. and a large dining room filled with breakfast items set out for our family on a gorgeus silver tray ; fresh fruit, boxes of cereal, chocolate pastry cakes for the kids, a loaf of bread, coffee and espresso, all ready for us so we didn't have to race out to the grocery store that night. Completely panicked at the idea of not having coffee my first morning there I had packed a bag of dark roast Italian Starbucks coffee, but I guess I wouldn't be needing that !! And so our vacation started........I should also mention that the 3 bathrooms were great and in perfect working condition, the kitchen has a large fridge / freezer and is stocked with every pot and pan you would ever need. I don't need to say much more about the greatness of this place, but I will add that all the logistics : our greeter, our driver to and from the airport, a ride to the vatican for an early AM tour , all went off without a hitch and were recommended to us by Italy Perfect. Italy Perfect was professional and thorough in every way and of course, we would highly recommend them to anyone traveling through Rome. The street that Spagna is located on is very quiet and residential and filled with families and people going to and from work. Although the area around the Spanish Steps is teeming with tourists, when you walk back to Spagna you leave that all behind . That is the magic of this place; proximity to shopping and tourist sites, but you are quickly whisked into a quiet, lovely sanctuary as you walk home to Spagna. There is a reknowned music school in the neighborhood called St. Celia's and as other reviewers have noted, at times you hear a gentle, quiet sound of music down wafting down the avenue which adds to the ambience of Spagna. My 17 year old daughter is a violinist and one night at the Anglican Church around the corner from Spagna there was a string ensemble concert which we attended with our daughter while our 3 kids wandered around and got pizza and gelato. The concert was more than fabulous (it is still running on certain nights thru May ) and it inspired our daughter very much. We would not have had this highlight of our vacation had we not been staying at Spagna. And how fun was if for our other kids to to wander around the neighborhood eating gelato. All our kids at one time or another took off in pairs to go back to a shop to see that special item, or to grab a gelato. There is a great grocery store on the next street over from Spagna where we got yogurt, fruit, cheese, etc. We ate out at local restaurants all of which were very good. We saw lots of the main tourist sites in Rome and booked 2 excellent tours : A Vatican Tour (7:30 start time to avoid the crowds ) and a collisseum tour both excellent .Another highlight of our trip was a food tour through the Trastavere neighborhood. Every bit of it was awesome and even my picky teens gobbled every last bite of the roasted artichokes, cheese and even some red wine !! I've written way too much as it is, but I really can't say enough good things about Italy Perfect and the amazing apt. We feel very lucky to have stayed there.

Our family of 5 (3 "kids" ages 24, 22 and 19) stayed at this apartment during the Christmas/New Year's Holiday for 9 nights. Everything was great.......we found it to be a perfect, central location and we were able to walk or take the Metro throughout Rome. The apartment was very nice.....the kitchen and all the space, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect for our stay. We wished that the master bathroom had a shower, but we quickly adapted to using one of the showers in the other 2 baths. The owner, and her grandson who spoke English, were so welcoming and helpful. Everything in the kitchen and throughout the apartment worked well and was well represented on the Italy Perfect website. We would absolutely recommend this apartment to others looking for a 3 bedroom stay.

Our apartment in Rome was fabulous. Not only was it big, beautiful, clean and convenient it was super quiet. We were only a few blocks from the Spanish Steps, great shopping and restaurants. It was unbelievable how close we were to all the action and how quiet our apartment was. The veranda off the living room was private and quite large. Every room had it's own bathroom which with 5 women we loved. We didn't use the kitchen or dining room much - who goes to Italy to cook? Right? Loved this place and will be looking at Paris Perfect for an apartment next year!

I've rented apartments in France and Italy before, and Spagna is the best. It is lovely, extremely comfortable and tranquil. Surrounding it is everything one needs for daily living. Taxis, buses and the Metro are minutes away, as are the Spanish Steps and the Piazaa del Popolo. There is an abundance of food stores, of all kinds, and many restaurants in the immediate surrounding area. The apartment is on a quiet cobble-stoned street, that opens into a serene courtyard, and is around the corner from the musical academy and a place where concerts are held weekly. The flowered terrace/balcony is simply gorgeous, with sitting and dining areas. It is accessed through large glass doors that open onto the living room, bringing the view of the beautiful flowers and plants indoors. The kitchen is well-applianced, and the very pretty dining room could easily seat a dinner party for twelve. The owner and greeter could not have been nicer and had lots of useful information for us. I can't wait to return to Spagna. It is, quite simply, a jewel in the heart of Rome.

My husband and I along with our 3 teenage children stayed at the Spagna apartment in July, 2012. The accommodations were exactly as depicted in the photos on the Italy Perfect website. The apartment was comfortable and had all the amenities we required. The terrace was amazing! Even though it was very hot, we still were able to sit out in the morning and the evening. Around 10pm one evening my husband and I were enjoying the terrace, and all we could hear was a flute player in the street. It was lovely! The location was perfect! It was close to a very busy street, but was very quiet. Never heard any traffic or people, even during the day. We were within walking distance of many sites. Right around the corner on Via Del Corso was shopping, a coffee shop, and close by was a grocery store. There were many restaurants just a couple blocks away. Would definitely recommend this apartment. I searched several hours looking for the perfect accommodations, and found Italy Perfect to have some of the nicest rentals. Pat was always prompt at answering any questions I had for her. All the extra information provided, from dining, shopping, sites, as well as various tidbits of facts, was very helpful. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect! Thanks Pat!

We are back home from our wonderful time in Rome and wanted to let you know that we loved the Spagna apartment. Great, spacious apartment with a great location; the outdoor patio was both wonderful space and very beautiful with all the flowers, plants and herbs the owner has planted there. It is certainly a very good choice for two families or one family with children. The owner was very gracious and kind and seemed to enjoy speaking with our daughter in Italian. She even presented her with a going away gift for her 'bambino". In addition to allowing us in early as you know, she allowed us to leave at 2 because we could not check into our hotel at the airport until 3 PM. We would definitely stay there again. I also wanted to express our appreciation for the service Stefano from Stefano Greycar provided our family. He picked both of our parties up at the airport and took us to the apartment. He also took us to and back from Siena on Wednesday (and was very kind and understanding at the beginning of the trip when our 2 year old grandson became a little car sick). We also arranged for him to take us (and all our luggage) to the airport hotel on Friday. He was always very kind and helpful and on time. We will definitely use him whenever we come to Rome and would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks for all your help as well. We will be in touch the next time we plan to visit.

Spagna Review

I didn't want to get so caught up in my re-entry process from our wonderful visit to Rome that I neglect the opportunity to send you my comments on our stay in the Spagna apartment.  From start to finish, it was an incredibly successful experience. - The information on your website about the apartment was exhaustive and included warts (the very few critical comments) and all.  This is important to every prospective client, but never more so than for a client who is a first-time visitor and therefore probably a little more anxious than someone who knows the city well, and, candidly, for the client who will be spending a lot of money on the accommodation.  No one likes to be gypped, or stranded and unhappy in a place that is very different from what was represented!  The information on your site about the apartment was so thorough and honest that I felt no shock upon entering, only happiness at finally seeing the place in person. - The registration process was easy to understand and easy to complete, and your communication with me was always timely, responsive to my query, and helpful, with additional suggestions or ideas for me to consider. - Your additional documents - on everything from phone use, to life in Rome, to restaurant recommendations - are an amazingly valuable addition to the "package" of renting with you.  Reviewing them, I felt I could land running in a new and unfamiliar city. - It is hard to imagine that an apartment could have been more perfectly located than this one. The Spagna apartment is right in the middle of everything - situated between the Spanish Steps and the Piazza del Popolo, only a few minutes' walk to the Villa Borghese, so my kids could run around, and easy walking distance to shops and most of the restaurants we went to - and yet, in the middle of its tiny street, away from the noise and the bustle.   After full days of tromping around the city, the quiet was a really welcome respite. - The apartment was as gracious in its space, comfort and personal touches as it appears in the photos. My kids are past the age where I would have needed to worry about the antiques, silver pieces and other special, personal accessories in the apartment, and even my 10-year-old noticed the difference between this rental and many others we have had:  "Mom, this place doesn't have empty picture hooks like our Lake Tahoe rentals:  She left everything here for us to enjoy."  The apartment felt great to be in and was totally comfortable for our party of 3 adults and 2 kids who all enjoy some space at the end of a long day. - The owner and her assistant were there to greet us when we arrived, and had kindly bought us some grocery basics to tide us over till we got to the market ourselves.  The assistant did confirm that the owner would, at least some of the time, be in the closed-off servant's quarters, and I will say that it was a bit of an odd feeling to hear her talking, coughing - being - through an obviously thin wall from time to time, but this really did not detract one bit from our experience in the apartment.  We felt we had our privacy, and that the apartment was all ours while we were there.  The owner came to see us off when we left - we had confirmed the time in advance - and she was very kind to present us with a small, personal farewell gift. - Stefano, a recommended driver, was absolutely punctual and friendly to everyone in our party.  I will note two things, first, that the tiny-ness of the street the Spagna apartment is on made it impossible for Stefano to drive the minivan we had for the five of us to our door.  The closest he could get was the nearest corner, so we needed to shlep our many bags/carryons 1/2 block to the front door of the apartment building - and then back to the car on our way back to the airport on our last day.  Obviously, Stefano could not simply leave his vehicle double-parked there on the main street, so we had no help from him getting our bags down the 1/2 block of cobblestones.. This was a bummer though no giant deal for our group; however, if the guests were seniors - or younger kids than ours - this could have been a real problem.  I also want to point out that the minivan Stefano had for us both ways had working seatbelts for only four of the five of us.  He joked that in  Rome there's no need for seatbelts, but obviously we all know different, and with the rather crazed commute traffic there were more than a few instances of Stefano needing to slam on the brakes - and the person with no seatbelt having to really anxiously brace herself. Our visit to Rome was enhanced immeasurably by our stay in the Spagna apartment and with all your generous help.  I am sad to think that our travels to ever-new destinations will probably mean we have been in that beautiful home for the last time, but I am quite sure I will be a return client of Italy Perfect -  indeed, I have already perused some of the places in other parts of Italy, to begin the wheels turning in my mind - and I have already recommended Italy Perfect to friends wholeheartedly.  Thank you so much.

We were very pleased with the location and surrounding area.   Your dedication to detail and efficiency was magnificent and I thank you sincerely for this. For us personally, not being aware at the time of booking that we were actually staying in someone's home, not a commercial apartment, with all their belongings/trinkets/ornaments/furniture etc  led to an uneasy feeling. This was compounded by the fact that the owner was living next door and we could hear her through the walls and no doubt she us. The master bed was very hard.  So unfortunately, this apartment in Italy for us was not a success.   Others may enjoy this style of accomodation. Thank you again for your help [Thank you for your notes, I'm glad we were able to reorganize the beds for your greater comfort and taking into account your feedback, a new, softer base has been placed under the bed. We will also make it clearer that this is a personal home. The owner was not living next door while you were there; you were hearing the neighbors in the adjoining apartment, sorry about that. The only time she enetered was to greet you and to supervise the housekeeper. Pat]

Overall, how did you find your accommodations? One of the perils of getting older is how cynical we can become and an expectation that brochures give a false impression. We were blown away - the apartment was everything and so much more than we expected. The highlight is the totally private terrace with beautiful terra-cotta planters filled with flowers, orange trees etc with comfortable seating and dining table. The apartment is filled with antiques and feels and indeed is a real home from home in the middle of Rome What did you think about the location and the surrounding area? Perfect location minutes away from Piazza del Popolo in a small quiet street linking Via del Corsa and Barbuino giving immediate access to shops, restaurants and quaint streets like Margutta filled with artists and craft Any tips for future guests including nearby sites, restaurants or shops? Pat provided us with a very comprehensive list of suggestions but in reality most of Rome attractions are within walking distance. As for restaurants our undoubted favorite was Gusto and the rudest to avoid Alfredo! Would you recommend Italy Perfect to a friend? Yes, 100%, yes. Italy Perfect was everything you could hope for. The arrangements all worked smoothly from arrival to departure. The handbooks and suggestions were a brilliant addition. Not only would I recommend Italy perfect to a friend - we have already done so!

I can't imagine staying in a more convenient place. The apartment was central to everything. It had a very authentic feel and both the owner and the rental agent were very accomodating as to our arrival and departure time. We had an infant with us which was no problem but young children could be. The apartment contains many personal items that could temp small children. The positive to that was the authentic/non-hotel feel.

This flat was in a great, easy to get to and centrally located location. There were five of us in our group, and we were accommodated well and comfortably. If only the weather had been a bit cooler, we would have really made use of the great patio! Gusto! is a great restaurant, only a few blocks away, and there is a grocery close by as well. Our arrival was well coordinated and we were welcomed and educated about the flat nicely in English. We greatly enjoyed our time in Rome!

This lovely apartment on a quiet closed street off Via del Babuino is a perfect location for seeing Rome. It is fully equipped, accommodated 4 adults and a mature child perfectly, and has a marvelously landscaped terrace for outdoor living. It is only blocks away from the Spanish Steps. Transporation, greeting and instructions were all handled very professionally with gracious English speaking personnel. The owner offered a warm personal welcome with flowers and wine, and Italy Perfect handled the reservation process most efficiently. The only problem was an initial difficulty establishing an Internet connection, which could have been a firewall problem in our laptop. In short, a wonderful way to experience Rome. A hidden gem of a casual restaurant not to be missed for lunch and a wine bar 17:00 - 20:00 in the Piazza Venezia/Piazza Navona area is Enoteca Corsi in Via del Gesu' at #87-88, just north of the Corso V. Emmanuele.

A wonderful apartment in a perfect location to enjoy Rome. Apartment beautifully furnished with a balcony off the living room that is to die for. Every mordern convience you will need . If you are use to luxury this fits the bill. We rented through Italy Perfect and Pat Byrne a total professional.

We spent a month in Italy this year and the highlight was the time we spent in this beautiful apartment in Rome, the lovely garden court yard was fantastic and great to spend time relaxing with my family. The location was brilliant only a few metres from the main shopping district of Rome which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. I cannot stress how wonderful our stay was and how well we were received and treated by the owner of the apartment. The whole process went to plan flawlessly and at every stage of the process everyone was helpful. A big thanks to all. Best regards David

We loved this elegant apt. we had out our boys ages 12 and 14. It was very pretty, spacious and light filled. The beautiful garden terrace was a lovely spot for breakfast or a glass of wine. Our neighborhood was a short street located between an elegant street of boutiques and cafes and a more funky street of stand up eateries and nike and other athletic stores which the kids loved. of course beautiful old churches were everywhere. the street ended at Piazza Spagna which is a stunning Piazza with several lovely cafes for people watching. I loved this area because it was not terribly touristy and you had the feeling that locals lived there. Not far is the Spanish Steps which is very crowded and touristy so one can appreciate the difference. The apt has three lovely bedrooms. One queen for me and my husband, one single for my 14 yr old and my 12 yr old took the twin. The air conditioning worked great and the extra charge was minimal. There was no noise from the street. The wifi worked great on our Mac. Christina met us and quickly showed us around and we had no trouble with keys or appliances. we cooked in a few nights and ate on the terrace. There is a small butcher two streets down where we picked up terrific tenderloins. We also fixed eggs in the morning. However, on the more elegant street there is a lovely cafe- Don Quioxte where you can get coffee and light breakfast also. We didn't watch much tv- just one small one in the living room.So if you need a big TV or dvd this is not for you! The building was very quiet as i think most were gone for the summer. It felt very safe and the main gate was always locked. It was very easy to get taxis from eiither of the adjoining streets or just down the road at the Piazza. I would definitely go back!

Our hostess and greeter clearly wanted us to be happy ... and we were. Accommodations were excellent.  It quickly became our "home" and we can't imagine staying anywhere else when we're in Rome. We enjoyed the most the terrace.  Plants were in full bloom during our stay, and we really enjoyed the outdoor space.  It's also nice that guest quarters [second and third bedrooms] can be closed off, allowing complete privacy. The location is ideal. A ristorante called "Edy" became a favorite ... maybe 2 blocks away (on Vicolo del Babuino, between Via di Babuino and Via Margutta).   You seem to have perfected the art of service.

Beautiful apartment, quiet, clean. Excellent location, plenty of good local dining. I recommend "Gusto" for a delicious dinner. The highlight of of my trip was to see the lovely Sistine Chapel, what a masterpiece! The museum was overly crowded but it's worth the wading through the people to see it! Getting around was easy, taxi's were abundant and fairly inexpensive, walking the local streets was great people-watching and interesting listening to the different languages. Thank you for the lovely accommodations, I will recommend to our friends in California.
