Sangiovese

Beautiful little gem of an apartment situated across from La Grande Epicerie. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Bed and linens were beautiful. Plenty of towels and shower necessities provided. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with high quality flatware and cooking pots and pans. My only complaint is that there is only a microwave for an oven. I've seen the dual type microwave/regular oven--even in a very small size--available in other apartments. That would be very helpful. I had no trouble with the 34 stairs, even at a late middle age. As it was March, I kept the windows closed and wasn't troubled by outside noise as other's have suggested. Close to everything and easy to access the metro.

I stayed here solo and loved every moment! The flat is very well appointed, feels lush and lovely inside. Being there is like being embraced by the beautiful aunt you adore - you don't want her to let go. The space is perfect for one person. I'm sure it's great for two as well, but left my hubby at home this time. The location cannot be beaten. It's my favourite part of Paris to stay. One note: the front area of the building is a bit skeezy and not as elegant as the apartment itself. There are two security doors and the front one almost never closed properly. Having said that, the area is very safe, I'm always concerned about safety and I slept like a baby here. Do note what other reviewers have said about the delivery trucks. I sleep with the windows open and they are loud. Consider earplugs if you're a light sleeper? Lastly the host, was great! Very available and had fabulous recommendations. I'm a yes on this flat, notwithstanding issues mentioned above, and hope to return.

Highly recommend this place, especially if it's 1 person (or 2 can fit comfortably if sharing a bed and don't "spread out" when unpacking. I did use the pull out couch in addition to the bed (I was staying with a friend), and it was not super comfortable but it got the job done. The convenience to the Bon Marche, Lutetia Brasserie and metro stops is perfect. I would stay here again with my husband, who's a much tidier roommate 🙂

Fantastic trip. Easy to follow instructions to enter the apartment. Yes, the trucks can be very loud if the windows are open but they do a great job of keeping the noise out while they’re closed. The bed is extremely comfortable. I have lower back issues and slept great!

Our stay at Sangiovese was wonderful! My mom, my daughter, and myself all stayed together in the apartment for 1 week. Although the apartment is small, it worked well for us with 2 in the bedroom and one on the sofa bed. We were very busy touring Paris all week, so we did not spend very much time in the apartment except in the evenings, but it was the perfect location to commute to all of the things we wanted to see while in Paris. We also loved being across the street from the Bon Marche. It was fun to visit the food market. The unloading at the Bon Marche seems to start around 6:30, and often we were getting up around that time, so we were not bothered by the noise. It was so nice to have the ease of Victor Cabs taking us to and from the airport, and Thomas, our Local Contact, was welcoming, explained everything in the apartment and gave advice on local restaurants. I would stay in this location again

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. We walked to almost everything we wanted to see in Paris--only had to take taxis twice. Thomas was very welcoming and left us well-stocked. Also highly recommend Victor's Cab service to and from airport.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this apartment… it was, hands down, THE BEST stay I have ever had in my 20 years of traveling (domestic and abroad)! I recently traveled to Paris by myself as a “pre-move” travel (as I will be moving from US to Paris) and this apartment made me feel right at home. I was there for 11 days, and Thomas was excellent about helping me learn the metro, the market, the neighborhood.. and this apartment is EXACTLY what I would want when I do move (location + style + size)… it has it all! As a solo traveler, I can confidently say The 6th arrondissement was very safe and VERY easy to maneuver.. I walked EVERYWHERE and only took the metro when needed. (Highly recommend walking if you can!) I am from small-town Kansas, and this area made me feel at home. Yes, it was noisy with the loading dock and metro below (as stated by PP), but I got used to it; and with ear plugs, it was manageable. AND speaking of sleeping… the BED!!!!! THE MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept on in my entire life!! The pillows, the comforter, the linens: LUXURIOUS PERFECTION!! Paris Perfect really lived up to their name bc they were absolutely PERFECT!! If you look up “luxury” in the dictionary, you would find this company… and this apartment! (No judging), but I loved this apartment so much, I cried when I left! It really, truly felt like home— thanks PP!!! It was an honor to stay with you 🙂 You made my trip to Paris more of a reality of home than I ever expected, and I cannot thank you enough. It was such a pleasure!! 🙂

This is a recently redone, beautifully decorated apartment in an unbeatable Paris location. The apartment is a great size for one or two people (that like each other) and the rates are similar to a 3-4 star hotel in Paris if you're in a larger room. You have lots of space and a good size bath and kitchenette. The bed and linens were luxurious; however, the towels and bath products did not seem up to Paris Perfect standards that I have had in their other apartments. The apartment is noisy (outside) both with the very busy loading dock and the not as loud metro below. The loading dock has varying hours - sometimes starting at 3am and going as late as 11 pm. PP is very clear about the noise and I found with earplugs it was manageable and I could sleep well. If you are a light sleeper or don't want to use earplugs, this is not the apartment for you. The location is great - and I loved looking out at the Bon Marche and having such great shopping so close was a huge plus. There is great public transportation all around you and you can easily walk to most locations in the city. My biggest concern with the building was that the main front door was almost always open when I came back or left the building. It is a glass door and has to be pulled shut to lock. Other people coming and going from the building did not pull the door shut so the building's front door was always unsecured. The inner door to the building did not lock at all. This for me is a big safety concern in Paris and even if you can lock and bolt your apartment door, being in an unsecured building is a red flag. If I were PP or the owner I would see if a sign could be put up, reminding people to firmly close the front door of the building.

The apt was perfect for myself, husband and teen daughter. Thomas met us on arrival, and was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location is ideal for navigating the city. We didn't find any issue with the noise, and the window decorations at Bon Marche were lovely. The apt is well appointed, and it is nice to start the day with coffee at home. the bed, and pull out were very comfortable. We will not hesitate to book with Paris Perfect on our next stay. Cheers

The check-in process was very easy (although we never met Thomas, but rather were checked in by the cleaning person - she was very helpful). The apartment was very clean with updated finishes as if it had been redone recently. The noise from across the street and below was very annoying, even with the windows closed. Our temperatures were in the 70's some days, so we needed to open the windows for ventilation while we were in the apartment. The apartment is well located and very nicely appointed. Anxious to see the rest of the Paris Perfect apartments! The apartment worked out very well for us!

The check in/out process was very easy. The greeter was wonderful and extremely helpful. I dislike being asked to take out the trash and do dishes. Especially as the rental prices are for upscale experiences. (The dishes were not as bad, admittedly, as I had only an item or two.)

I just spent a delightful week at the Sangiovese! The apartment was ideal for me in terms of location and amenities. I traveled solo and the scale of the apartment was perfect. Sliding doors allow you to separate the living and sleeping areas. The apartment had been upgraded with new paint and linens before I arrived, which made it feel fresh and new. The living area was so comfortable that I often spent time having tea and reading, either on the couch or at the small dining table. The pigeons would join me on the windowsills overlooking the Rue de Sevres. I spent time in several of the neighborhoods and I also got to know the 6th and the 7th really well. I am already looking forward to coming back next year.

The location of this apartment is wonderful. Close to great shopping, bakeries, restaurant, public transport and parks. We didn't find the noise of the Bon Marche loading dock a problem at all. It was nice having the view of this beautiful store. The apartment is in excellent condition with a high quality bed, appliances and bathroom. We were very happy with the Paris Perfect team as well. They checked in on us several times during our stay and had left a wonderful welcome package for us when we arrived.

Loved Sangiovese! Beautifully decorated and the location was perfect. Bon Marche across the street was wonderful and convenient as well as the grocery store around the corner. Thomas was wonderful. It is on a busy street and with windows open it’s very noisy but once closed you hardly hear anything. Will definitely stay at one of their properties again!

We enjoyed our apartment across from the Grand Epicure and Bon Marche! The noise did not affect us, it was not overly loud nor late at night. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed including extra converters and a blow dryer. The location was ideal, a reasonable walk to most major destinations. We loved being able to grab morning coffee and baguettes from the Grand Epicerie and we did some shopping in the iconic Bon Marche. Our host gave us the tour of the apartment and made restaurant suggestions. A lovely stay, we hope to be back!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in the Sangiovese apartment. We arrived early in the day and were able to drop our luggage at the apartment while it was being cleaned, which was much appreciated. The location is a bit noisy, being opposite Bon Marché and facing a busy street but city noise is to be expected when vacationing in a big city! We found some great restaurants, and high quality ingredients were readily available when we wanted to cook in the well equipped little kitchen. For those that want gourmet convenience, La Grande Epicerie, across the street, sells prepared food you can warm up. We had a lamb stew with olives one night that was very good. The bed was very comfortable but a bit high off the ground for a short person like me! The central location made it easy to get around the city, both by public transportation and on foot.

This apartment is heart of St. Germain was just perfect in everything! Beautiful design, super comfortable bed, great shower (which is important after long walking days in Paris), enough space for everything. Besides it all was clean and looked as brand new! Loved the place! PS Appreciated a lot a bottle of great red wine on arrival.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable. It has everything you need, everything. It’s my second time using Paris Perfect and both times has been a great experience. The building itself, not necessarily what I expected and the sound of the busy street and the passing underground trains is loud but not unbearable. It makes you feel like a real local!

Beautifully decorated apartment, perfect for two people. It's compact, but had all the amenities we were looking for. Comfortable bed, nice shower, small washer/dryer, and a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso machine, and dishwasher. The location was great, close to bus and metro stops, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, and shopping. I would stay here again.
