Location

The Rubino Raro Villa is located in Tuscany’s prime Chianti region near the well known wine town of Radda in Chianti, it is a perfect location from which to explore the wine producing communities of Greve, Castellina or Gaiole in Chianti or more off-the-beaten path medieval hill towns. Visit wineries, explore castles, or sightsee in Siena, Florence or Arezzo. The tradition of viticulture in the area dates back centuries, all the way to the Etruscans who pre-date the Roman Empire. Food and wine lovers will delight in the many fantastic wineries and excellent restaurants in the region.

Exterior

Enjoy meticulously maintained grounds and a beautiful swimming pool which overlooks the valley below. There is a pristine heated pool with ample lounge seating and an outdoor dining table under a pergola with a retractable awning. 

Interior

The impressive interiors are of the finest quality. Original stone walls give character as do the rustic beamed ceilings which blends beautifully with the modern, designer décor. Your eye will be drawn to the exquisite views of the pool, garden and rolling hills dotted with vineyards. A special vantage point are the amazing views from the unique medieval tower which has been styled as your own private bar. 

The living room, dining room, and bedrooms are furnished in modern designer furnishings with a very zen aesthetic, inviting you to relax to your heart’s content. The living room has a large wood-burning fireplace. 

The kitchen is a cook’s dream, with top-of-the line appliances. 

There are 4 generously sized bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. A fifth bedroom off of the dining area has a sofa bed and en suite bathroom. There is a separate studio which offers a bedroom, kitchen and living area. Please inquire for information to include the studio with the standard rental.

Enjoy a full array of amenities: Fitness room, sauna, jacuzzi in the basement. An outdoor play area for children. The original chapel can be used as a private yoga studio, an instructor can be provided with advance arrangement for which a fee applies.

Cleaning (5hrs/6 days per week) linen and pool towels change 2x weekly. Daily bath towel change.

Booking Period: Saturday to Saturday bookings during high season (late March -beginning of January)

Terms: Cancellation upon booking 30% non-refundable. Final payment due 90 days before arrival. For cancellation with 90 days of arrival, total non-refundable.

Check in: Check in between 4-7pm. Check out 10am

Other: Pool open April 1 to November 1. Optional pool heat with advance arrangement €630 Euros/week paid in cash onsite.
