Rose de Loire

Thank you for a wonderful stay—I would return in a heartbeat. I spent a week in your Montmartre apartment, and the location is exceptional. Quiet, on a historic street right beside La Maison Rose, with the vineyard just across the way, and the Musée de Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur close by. Rue de l’Abreuvoir is one of the most charming streets in Montmartre, yet you’re only minutes from everything. It feels like a village rather than a major city—and it took barely half an hour by métro to reach Concorde in the 1st arrondissement. The apartment itself is elegant and thoughtfully done. Light-filled, high ceilings, peaceful, and genuinely comfortable to live in. The woodwork and panelling are beautiful, and the painted fables in the sitting room are a delight. Being able to open windows on two sides and pull a breeze through on a warm day was a particular pleasure. The welcome and communication throughout were excellent—warm, efficient, and very accommodating. A couple of practical notes: there are internal stairs (perfectly manageable, but worth knowing), and cooling is via a mobile unit rather than full air-conditioning. None of that detracts from the experience. This is one of those rare places that offers both beauty and ease. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Montmartre properly, not just visit.

As Audrey Hepburn said in Sabrina, “Paris isn't for changing planes, it's for changing your outlook, for throwing open the windows and letting in la vie en rose.” That is exactly what we experienced during our stay in the lovely Rose de Loire apartment. From the moment we walked through its centuries-old door, we were captivated by its history, charm, and quiet elegance. Every detail — from the graceful wood paneling and ornate moldings to the La Fontaine frescoes — made our time in Rose de Loire feel truly enchanting. We enjoyed breakfasts in the upstairs sitting area overlooking the vineyard, and evenings in the beautiful living room, where the serenity provided the perfect end to our busy days exploring Paris. The enchanting Rose de Loire apartment, located on the iconic Butte de Montmartre, made this visit to Paris truly exceptional.

This apartment is simply amazing. Full of Parisian charm, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The location is perfect, wonderful view on the Montmartre old wine yard, few steps away from Sacré-Cœur and the artists’ square. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Rose de Loire really felt like the Paris you see in postcards. But even better because we were staying there! We loved being able to walk everywhere and see Sacré Cœur and the view over Paris at so many times of the day. Plus there’s always something interesting happening just outside the door. The apartment has plenty of space and we enjoyed having two levels and especially the view of the vineyard across the street from the bedroom. We felt like we were living in Montmartre, not just visiting for a few days.

Montmartre has always been my romantic idea of Paris and being able to stay there for so long was a dream. Rose de Loire has so much charm just like Montmartre. Everything about space felt special and I especially loved the upstairs bedroom and long evening soaks in the tub after walking all day. Absolutely magical stay – thank you Paris Perfect!
