Stunning View

Stunning view, lots of room for our large family, a/c was life saving! We loved having a kitchen and a very local grocery store. Also unexpected bonus of having a washer/dryer to use. Location was amazing! I was worried about being right by the Eiffel Tower (possibly being too crowded or something) but the apartment was perfectly located! Private and tucked away while also being right there! Again didn’t mention the view?! Just stunning!

Christmas in Paris

We loved returning to Paris and staying with Paris Perfect again. Ou local contact was absolutely fantastic. Romanee had the most incredible view of the Eiffel Tower and was very quiet set back from the street and on a high floor even though it is so close to the Eiffel Tower and lots of tourists. The flat was appointed very well and had everything we needed. The proximity to Rue Cler and walkability to the 8th was also great. The highlight of our trip was engaging our local contact to take us to the Puces de Saint Ouen. I had been there several times before but she really directed us to exactly what we wanted to see and purchase, showed us where to eat and really helped exponentially with shipping our purchases back to the States! Cheers to Paris Perfect for another grand stay and to our local contact for her direction and for making our trip extra special!

Breathtaking

This flat had a breathtaking view of The Eiffel Tower. The space was well appointed and elegant. The hostess was more than helpful and very polite. The kitchen served us well, being able to cook at home some evenings. The washer was great, but the dryer was not working. The entire flat was extremely quiet and comfortable.

Wow! What an incredible view, it was absolutely magical! The pictures looked beautiful, but no pictures could truly do it justice. We felt like we could touch the Eiffel Tower and had the best view in Paris! The apartment was very clean, well equipped and had an excellent recommendations book with all the information about the area. Meeting the host in person was a plus to familiarize ourselves with getting in and out of the building. We enjoyed the location, being close to the Eiffel Tower and Seine was great and the neighborhood had many hidden gems and shops! We would definitely recommend this apartment.

We rented this beautiful Romanee apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower for an 18th birthday of our daughter and a black tie wedding in Paris. The apartment, amenities, accessories and neighborhood absolutely fit the bill for the high-end events we were attending. The communication from the staff and opportunity to meet a person who would walk us up to our place and ensure we understood everything we might need to know was extremely helpful. This apartment was truly unforgettable. The moment I walked in, I was met with a breathtaking, postcard-perfect view of the Eiffel Tower—the kind of view you dream about when planning a Paris trip. It’s just steps away from Emily’s Café, a charming little spot that feels straight out of a Parisian movie. My daughter and I celebrated my birthday with a trip to Paris. We could not have been happier with our stay at Romanee. The Eiffel Tower views are truly amazing, the apartment is delightful, and the location was perfect. By the end of our stay, we truly felt like Parisians. Just know that the elevator is very small, but you get used to it. I highly recommend Paris Perfect and will most definitely use them for our next trip.

The location is terrific, amble restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and shops abound. The pictures are accurate. You can really see everything just as shown. Paris Perfect provided a bottle of milk and coffee to start the day, a very nice gesture, also the bottle of wine was a nice gift. The place is a 2-minutes’ walk from Champs de Mars. And we could see the Eiffel Tower from our living room. When you are staying here don’t forget to visit Le Marche Grenelle on Wednesday morning. Our stay was fantastic.

A Comfortable Stay in a Lovely Location

Our stay in Romanée was our fourth stay with Paris Perfect over many years, each time in a different location. Romanée had the Eiffel Tower view which we wanted for this visit; and the location gave us the chance to explore a new neighbourhood, which is lively and well-served with restaurants, bistros and small well-stocked supermarkets. The apartment is tucked away from street noise, and was quiet, snug and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, the showers worked well with plentiful hot water, and the central heating was cosy for our mid-December stay. We were very pleased to find that the kitchen was the best-equipped of any apartment we have rented anywhere in Europe, the US and our homeland Australia. Our only negative was that the decor is overdone, cluttered and twee compared to other Paris Perfect apartments we have stayed in. Other than that, our stay was another Paris Perfect delight!

Incredible Stay

We had an incredible stay with an epic view of the Eiffel Tower. The unit was exactly as described, and the portable AC in each room worked perfectly. Having an onsite team that was almost always available throughout the day was a great plus. We were just a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower and only a 5-minute walk to the Seine. The nearby grocery store was super convenient, especially when traveling with young kids. We used the metro to get around everywhere else, making the location even more ideal.

Perfect apartment with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower. The furniture and overall art decor of the house was very pleasant. Full points for cleanliness and responsive team at Paris perfect! If you have small kids who like to jump and run around in the house, you just need to be careful and keep reminding them not to ( which is what we had to do) because the sound on the wooden floor and voice does propagate a lot. The apartment has to be seen to be believed. The view is better than the pictures and although its proximity to the Eiffel Tower is almost as close as living there, we all felt very safe in the apartment. Magical time in the city of light!!

The apartment was stunning, comfortable, well-stocked and close to anything you might need. Our family of 5 had plenty of bedroom and bathroom space. Fabulous apartment in a magical location

The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the sitting room is magical, particularly when the light show takes place at 11:00pm. There are numerous restaurants within metres of the entrance to the building and a well-stocked Franprix supermarket about 60 metres away. The Avenue de la Bourdonnais is a beautiful avenue with many shops and restaurants along its full length. There are various attractions within easy walking distance. We highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

The apartment was located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants close by. It was roomy and comfortable, immaculate when received, beautifully appointed, and provided a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower -- especially at night. I must say, it really felt like "Paris" when staying there. A very thorough orientation was provided by the company representative before taking possession as well. However, a safety note -- while the building did have fire alarms, it did not appear to have any fire escapes, nor any escape plans visibly posted, in the event of an emergency. This may be an issue for some.

Thank you, James, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay! Unfortunately, in France, buildings are not required to have a fire escape and regrettably, there are no protocols we can provide to help. We are fortunate that we haven’t had any emergencies in the past 20 years, in the buildings where our apartments are located.

This was an amazing location with an awesome view of the Eiffel Tower. Spacious living area. Bedrooms are on the small side, but beds were comfortable. Bathrooms accommodate 4 people getting ready at once. Excellent cafes within walking distance. Metro is a short walk away. Greeter showed us around the apartment and made sure we were comfortable. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great.

My granddaughter and I stayed at Romanee for a week during the heat wave. First, the lovely gentleman from Paris Perfect was there to greet us, had the AC up and running, and made everything easy. We loved the bedrooms, the baths, and most of all, watching the Eiffel Tower twinkle each night. Everything about the flat was easy, comfortable and charming. I can't imagine ever staying elsewhere after this magical experience!

We are a family of six and were looking for the authentic Parisian experience near the Eiffel tower. We stayed in Romanee for 7 nights and were completely delighted with how amazing this place was from when we booked to after we checked-out. First and foremost, the view of the tower was simply amazing. After a day exploring the 7th and other areas of Paris, this flat was so amazing to come back to and just relax and soak-up the view of the tower as it lit-up the night. The building where the flat is located is quiet and very upscale. If you don't like the idea of walking six flights of stairs, the elevator does a great job at getting you up/down with our stroller/luggage/etc as the flat is located on the 6th floor. We opted for the morning/evening exercise. The management company did a great job at getting us settled-in initially and provided thorough instructions on the entire flat. No questions were left unanswered. We had no issues with the flat, everything worked well as it should and the neighbors were the nicest folks in Paris. This is a vacation rental we will definitely return to.

This apartment is truly â€œParis Perfect.â€ The apartment is comfortable and has plenty of storage. The view from the living room window is spectacular, especially at night. The location is excellent, there are two cafes a few doors to the left as you exit the property and a small grocery store to the right just a half block away. We found an outstanding Italian restaurant on Rue Monttessuy called IL Sorentino, left out of the property and left on the first street. (About a block) The staff members of â€œParis Perfectâ€ are outstanding. They respond quickly and have very helpful information. This is a quality and professional company that is reliable. We used â€œVictorTaxiâ€ for service to and from the airport. I highly recommend them. We had a fabulous time in Paris, I wish all have the same experience.

We were really lucky to be able to stay in this apartment. I was looking for an apartment to live in for a short period of time. The location of this apartment is excellent, the view is impeccable, the interior of the apartment was nice and I was thrilled when I first opened the door. The apartment has everything you need and it's so clean. The apartment is managed by a company, but the company's website and listings have a credible history, and it's reassuring to know who the person is in contact. The apartment makes you feel so comfortable. It was a great place to stay. We couldn't ask more!

WOW!!! What a truly unforgettable experience. Never before, has my family been able to savor a landmark quite like we were able to with the view from this flat. Everything we did was in view of the Eiffel Tower. We played cards while looking out the window; we ate breakfast while looking up at it; and even cooked in the well equipped kitchen while still being able to take in views of the tower. Amazing! Besides the killer view, the proximity to shops and restaurants was great. The hosts were extremely organized, friendly and helpful. Quick response to email and whatsapp and provided loads of helpful advice from where to eat to where to go in case of a medical emergency. Our family highly recommends this place!

The Romanee apartment is beautifully situated for those of us who love the 7th arrondissement and neighborhoods surrounding the Eiffel Tower. It has easy access to bus lines and the Seine and many restaurants and amenities in the immediate area to allow for you to live as a Parisian for the week. The apartment was in excellent condition and has the feel of the French culture and style. Four of us stayed in the apartment. My sister unfortunately took ill during our stay and required hospitalization for a number of days, and the staff at Paris Perfect were outstanding in assisting us with many unexpected details to be taken care of. We have stayed many times with this group and can say we will return to them as they always deliver on their apartments and service to their customers. Thanks for being there for us during this unexpectedly difficult week.

I rented the Romanee for 2 weeks, with 2 sets of guests staying for one week each. This apartment was perfect, and exactly what I had in mind. The living area was spacious and was arranged with comfortable furniture and every amenity we could have asked for. The beds were very comfortable and Paris Perfect graciously and efficiently accommodated my request for extra linens when they were needed. As the Romanee is on the top floor, it has an incredible view and is very quiet. Everyone loved this apartment, and I'd rent it again in a heartbeat. I also was very satisfied with Paris Perfect, who were readily available and willing to help in any way. They even arranged for me to look at a few more apartments for future possible rental.

Our Paris Perfect experience exceeded our expectations! The view is as advertised -- it's stunning! The apartment was clean and very comfortable. While the 2nd bedroom would have been a little tight for two teen girls to share, the Murphy bed in the living room addressed that. In fact, my daughter loved waking up to a view of the Eiffel Tower! The neighborhood was safe, reasonably quiet and within a short walk of some great restaurants and the market on Rue Clear. Oh yeah, the Eiffel Tower at your doorstep never got old either. The staff was accommodating and made check in and check out a breeze. We'll definitely use Paris Perfect again!

A very enjoyable one week stay at the Romanee Apartment. The apartment is well situated with a clear view of the Eiffel Tower. It also is well equipped with a full kitchen and plenty of crockery etc. The heating worked well (Important for a December stay!) as well as the hot water. Good WiFi coverage and speed (except the second bedroom that has little reception). We used "Victor Cabs" for transport to/from CDG that was also very efficient. We will be back - maybe over New Year next time!

We spent a week at Romanee in July 2016. The location was extremely convenient and magical. We woke up every morning to a view of the Eiffel tower and went to sleep seeing its twinkling lights. My morning routine was to wake up and walk to the nearest "boulangerie" bakery, to get French croissants and pastries. The apartment had a very functional kitchen to make breakfast and lunch. We ate out for dinner. I would highly recommend this apartment and Paris Perfect. They explained everything really well and the tours we went on were great. Kasia's fashion tour was a hit and my girls loved Alex for the night tour. We had a fantastic time.

They should be made aware of this. We can't think of a more perfect way to see Paris! Paris Perfect made our visit stress free and the Romanee apartment was better than the pictures. As a family of 5, with three kids under 13 we needed more space than a hotel would offer and we wanted to live like locals and experience the city. We used Paris Perfect's itinerary planning service. They did an excellent job of planning out a stay that allowed us to check off all of the sites on our "must see" list. The Paris Perfect staff and the tour guides they contract with were all friendly and knowledgeable about their city. They even helped us arrange our transportation to and from the airport. Less than a block from the Eiffel Tower we had cafes & bakeries within walking distance. The apartment has an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from the living and dining rooms. We watched the light show every night when we came home. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed to prepare a few breakfasts and dinners. The neighborhood was charming and very friendly to Americans. We walked miles in the city every day and the Metro was easy to use for longer trips. Our kids loved shopping for fresh food, dining in the cafes (especially the one down the block with Cuzco the cat) and the sewer tour. We highly recommend working with Paris Perfect and the Romannee apartment was a good size for our family of five. We all can't wait to visit Paris again.

Location,location,location. We so enjoyed our very comfortable stay (2 adults, 3 teenagers) in the Romanee apartment. It was our first trip to Paris and the location couldn't be beat. We were central to everything we wanted to do. Wonderful restaurants nearby and close to the metro. The convenience of having a washer/dryer and full kitchen made the trip so much more manageable. I mean no one wants to do laundry on vacation but if you have a view of the Eiffel tower while doing it you really can't complain. I would highly recommend this apartment and Paris Perfect. They were very easy to work with, super professional and took good care of us.

We stayed at Romanee while visiting Paris with another couple in November, 2013. The apartment was perfectly located - easy walking distance to the Batobus, the corner market and delightful restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Le Fontaine de Mars and Au Petit Sud Ouest - both of which were recommended by Paris Perfect. We also enjoyed visiting the Marche President Wilson and buying our morning croissants and evening baguettes at the corner boulangerie. The apartment was comparable in size to anything you'd find in NYC or San Francisco in the U.S. The beds were very comfortable and we were all amazed at how quiet it was! The greeter was welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend Victor's Cab service, which Paris Perfect recommends in their materials. Victor and his drivers were always prompt and most helpful when we had trouble locating the rental car office (which had moved). We will definitely rent from Paris Perfect again when we return to Paris!

We loved our stay at the Romanee apt. Firstly, Jean- Paul the taxi driver who met us at the station was wonderful, cheerful and helpful. Then to have Kevin waiting was a bonus. He showed us how everything operated in a most friendly and pleasing way. The apartment itself was fantastic. So much crammed into such a comparatively small space. All extremely workable. We couldn't believe the view of the Eiffel Tower - it looked close in advertising, but to actually see it so close was unbelievable. Shops and restaurants were close by, plus the park for the children to run around in. All in all a most convenient location and a great place to stay.

Perfect pied-a-terre for our family of 5: my husband and I, 2 teenage girls and one 12 year old grandson who loved the fold out coach in the living room. We arrived late at night and were greeted by a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. The apartment had the best combination of charm and modern conveniences. The location, short walk to the Seine, was ideally located to many major attractions. The neighborhood boasted many good restaurants as well as the famous Rue Cler open market, the very same one that Julia Child shopped when she first lived in Paris. Paris Perfect was the "perfect" choice for us - the Romanee apartment was fabulous for our family of five, including 9 & 11 year old girls and 6 year old boy. The kids took turns sleeping in the family room and the 2nd bedroom. We loved the light show of the eiffel tower every night. Apartment was charming and perfectly outfitted - we even used the kitchen 2 nights. Perfectly located near eiffel tower and lots of great boulangeries and restaurants. Metro/RER stop 5-10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk!) Bus stop right in front. Would definitely stay in this apartment again.

We were so thrilled with our choice of apartment in Paris. The view of the Eiffel tower was magical - I had to pinch myself each morning over coffee to make myself believe I was really here, eating breakfast with this view! Our family of 6 was very comfortable - our 2 older boys shared the double sofa bed in the lounge area (they enjoyed the view at night of the light show!) and the other beds were extremely comfortable. The location was exceptional - as a jogger, it was <2 minutes run to the Seine which is a great start to the day.....many great shops and restaurants nearby....the compendium supplied with grocer etc recommendations was extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed in Romanee for 7 nights in December, 2011. It was the best decision we made regarding accommodation in Paris. Everything went smoothly from the original booking process, through to booking Victor Cabs for our airport pickup and arrival and check in to the apartment. Our greeter, Kevin was very enthusiastic and bombarded us with useful information and although tired from the flight we were keen to get out exploring. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the lounge room window has to be seen to be believed and there is no trickery in the website photos of the apartment. The night time view is equally as impressive. Romanee was in such a great location, with many restaurants to choose from. We had every intention of cooking in our very small but well equipped kitchen, but did not use it once except making coffee in the morning! Why cook when you have many, reasonably priced restaurants to choose from for breakfast & dinner. Lunch was always on the run somewhere else. The bakery below was fabulous also! Having 2 bathrooms was fantastic, the beds were extremely comfortable including the queen bed fold away in the lounge room. It was extremely quiet and although the lift is very small (only fits 3 people squashed in) it was very efficient and quick. The apartment was full of Paris information but what made it was the free, quick wi-fi. We had a laptop and could plan our day using the internet the night before, as well as keep in touch with family/friends back home. The free phone calls were useful too, we have a friend in Zurich, who we were visiting next so it was great to be able to ring her and touch base before our arrival. I could go on for ages but the basic fact is, it was well worth the money, it was a fantastic apartment and would highly recommend staying at Romanee. My wife and I recently spent a week in Paris with three other couples... one couple joined us on Romanee and two couples stayed one floor below in Rully. Was that ever a fun week! The Eiffel Tower view from Romanee is jaw-dropping... we must have watched that light show with champagne 6 times that week. We had the absolute best time in Paris, and we loved staying in Romanee. Everything about this was perfect. I'm going to blog about Paris Perfect in my blog later this week, and I'll let you know when I do. Wanted you to know in particular that the bakery Champ des Delices was delightful. They got to know the kids over the week and really helped to personalize our trip, in addition to being truly delicious! We are totally spoiled now and are looking forward to our next trip! We just returned from our trip to Paris. We had a crew of family ranging in age from 23 to 82 years and elected to find a flat to accommodate all. We came across Paris Perfect on the Internet after quite a bit of research. Paris Perfect answered every question and helped us settle into the Romanee apartment for 2 weeks. The location was very convenient just two blocks from the Eiffel tower. The accommodations were wonderful and our view each night spectacular. The apartment was well stocked and suited our needs very well. We will definitely use Paris Perfect for future holidays and do very highly recommend them!

We were very pleased with the Romanee apartment and everything about the experience of renting an apartment with Paris Perfect. The apartment was well decorated and very comfortable as well as equipped with dishes, silverware,and anything we needed. The apartment was very well situated. The nearness to the Eiffel Tower was amazing, but in addition everything we needed was near by, e.g. ATM, buses, food stores. The Paris Perfect staff was responsive to our questions. Renting an apartment instead of staying in a hotel made the trip very special and enjoyable. I will definitely recommend Paris Perfect to friends.

My wife, daughter & I stayed in the Romanée Apartment over the 2009/10 New Year. The top criteria for our accommodation for our Europe Holiday, which took in London/Paris/Rome was that it had to be quiet. Romanée Apartment did this amazingly well on top of having a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower . On arrival we were meet by your staff member who pleasantly explained how things work. And giving us a comprehensive welcoming package that saved us having to rush out and find where to buy Milk / Dishwashing Detergent / Water and the like. The apartmentâ€™s presentation, comfortable beds as well as everything working properly (shower / dishwasher / oven / plenty of cutlery / good quality wine glasses) set-the-seen for an enjoyable stay. We have no reservations in recommending Romanée Apartment and look forward to using Paris Perfect again when we visit Paris. I am only too happy to receive enquiries from potential customers thinking of staying at Romanée Apartment.

The experience of staying at the apartment is an excellent introduction to Paris, France especially for first-timers - the attention to detail (providing the pronunciation of telephone numbers even) guide books, framed map, shopping trolley, umbrellas, wifi, leased telephone line, good quality kitchen appliances etc. makes for a 'perfect' stay - is there anything they have not thought of? Probably not. There was even a starter pack with orange juice, milk, wine, Nespresso capsules etc. As promised, great heating and showers especially for us, coming from tropical Asia. It even got too warm at times! We went twice to Chez l'Amis Jean. We think it deserves an entry into the personalised, useful and entertainingly written yellow guide book. I will certainly stay with ParisPerfect on my next trip!

My family and I just returned from staying at the Romanee apartment (Sept 14-24). It was one of the best vacations I've ever had. I went with my husband, 1 year old daughter, mother in law, father in law and sister in law. The apartment was great and had all the comforts of home. I thought we would miss the maid service that a traditional hotel offers, but we didn't miss it at all. It was our home away from home. My daughter would just stare at the lights of the Eiffel evry night when we got home. We also went to Rue Cler everyday. Visit Reza at Oliviers and Coon Rue Cler. He is very friendly and helpful. He had us do an olive oil tasting which was fantastic.

WOW! What a wonderful experience I shared with my sister, daughter-in-law and granddaughter staying in the Romanee apartment viewing the Eiffel Tower each night! We loved the neighborhood and shopping for breakfast and dinner and chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!! The apartment was so comfortable and exactly the way Madelyn presented it in her promotional materials. All the special tips and suggestions before and during our trip were put to use. Each time we had a decision to make or a question to ask we referred to Madelyn's book in the apartment and always the answer was there. Everything was so organized it made our Paris visit "Perfect"! We'd never stay anywhere else in Paris. From the much appreciated welcome basket after a long journey to Victor taking us to the airport on our journey home - we felt safe, cared for and secure staying with the "Paris Perfect" team. Dear Paris Perfect, My last visit to Paris was the most rewarding. It left me wanting more. Why was it so different from previous visits? Two wordsâ€¦ Paris Perfect. It was a â€˜girlâ€™sâ€™ trip. We researched apartments on line for a month for accommodations acceptable to all. When I happened on the Paris Perfect site, it seemed too good to be true. The location, the view, the details of the neighborhood, the accoutrements, the restaurant suggestions, the Metro stops...this was too perfect and too easy. We made arrangements to lease the Romanee apartment with expectations that if it were half as good as presented it would be more than fine. In a nutshell, Philippe and Madelyn have created beautiful apartments that are the perfect place to curl up for a cozy respite after a long day of sightseeing, museum-going, or shopping to review the events of the day and plan the next dayâ€™s strategy for experiencing Paris. It is obvious Philippe and Madelyn love Paris and want their guests to love it, too. You feel like a member of the Paris Perfect family the minute you arrive. At the airport the French phone card wouldnâ€™t work in the telephone and the taxi driver recommended by Paris Perfect, lent us his cell phone to advise of our arrival. Can you imagine that occurring if you came in on your own? We told Philippe and Madelyn what a jewel they have. They are extremely accommodating helping us with even the smallest requests. She has the appropriate patience and personality for her responsibilities. And it was the icing on the cake when the heat would not turn on (1st cold snap of the season) and she was there in less than an hour with space heaters for the nightâ€¦and back again first thing in the morning with the plumber to fix the problem. Dear Madelyn and Philippe, Our delayed arrival into Paris kept us from reaching your Romanee apartment until almost midnight. From the first moment, we felt welcomed and right at home your beautiful apartment. Although the dining table was fully set and ready to host the six of us to dinner, we were more in need of showers and baths and a good night's sleep, and that's exactly what we got. No shortage of hot water and beds that caressed us into a deep sleep. It was heaven. Everything about the apartment was first class. And the view from the windows was priceless. La Tour Eiffel stood solidly by day but danced like a ballerina by night right in front of our eyes. Magnificent! The calm and quiet neighbourhood offered everything we needed within a few minutes walk of the apartment and the famous museums and monuments for which Paris is famous were a short commute away. We simply had the most perfect stay in Paris and look forward to vacationing in one of your beautiful properties again. Merci beaucoup! My wife, my 3 children, ages 13, 15, and 17, and I spent the first week in July in the Romanee apartment. It was everything the website promised, except for one â€“ it was even closer to the Eiffel Tower than the map or the pictures indicate! It was wonderful. Paris Perfect delivered on everything it promised. Our flight was late, our shuttle took over two hours to get us to the apartment, we couldnâ€™t get our cell phone to function, and when we showed up at the apartment, Caroline was already there to greet us and let us drop off our bags. The apartment was cleaned and available for us only a few hours later (much earlier than we hoped) and we were able to return and sleep and then enjoy Paris over the next 7 days. Every day in Paris was great. Shopping and sight-seeing was all made so much easier by having a "home" to return to and rest and relax before going out to dinner. The apartment was everything you see on the website and more. With 3 teenagers and two adults each wanting to shower / bathe in the morning and after a long day out, we had two baths/showers in simultaneous use and we still never ran out of hot water. The fact that the Romanee has two separate toilets (one separate WC and one toilet in the master bath) was a godsend. The apartment was exceedingly quiet and safe and sleeping was easy and comfortable every night. Two adults in the master bedroom, one child in the other bedroom, one on the fold out bed in the living room (which each of the children agreed was the best bed), and one on a futon in the living room. We had ample and comfortable space. We over-packed by a factor of 2 or 3, and we still had more than enough space for our clothing and bags. It is a wonderful location (just a VERY SHORT block from the Eiffel Tower and such a wonderful, safe neighborhood). My wife and I spent three nights out at dinner by ourselves, and our children went to the Eiffel Tower by themselves after dark two of these nights and mingled with the throngs of tourists. We felt very comfortable letting the children go out on their own (so long as they stayed together) to the Eiffel Tower and to the local Pizzeria for takeout (run by a very courteous and friendly Algerian gentleman who spoke just a word or two of English but was able to understand exactly what our children ordered). Each trip to Paris must include at least one trip up the Eiffel Tower. We took at least three. Having it so close meant that we could visit it several times at the exact time we wanted, to see the view from the top in the day, at sunset and after dark. The "Fun Things to Do in Paris" brochure, which Paris Perfect provided by email before we arrived, was excellent. We visited several of the restaurants that the brochure recommended. Our children's favorite was La Taverna, which the whole family loved. On one of our "nights out" without the kids, my wife and walked to Thoumieux where I tried the "Cassoulet" recommended by Philippe in the brochure. I couldn't believe that I had traveled all the way to Paris (the home of the world's best cuisine) to order a bean casserole. But it turned to be my favorite meal of the trip. Thank you Philippe and Madelyn. There are 4 metro/RER stops within easy walking distance â€“ Ecole Militaire, Pont de l'Alma (which seemed to be the closest), Bir-Hakeim and Champs de Mars. No matter where we were in the City, at least one of these stops was usually only one transfer away, and sometimes, no need to transfer at all. When we vacation with my children, we usually rent an apartment in the city we visit. The children are simply too mature for one hotel room to work, and to rent two rooms splits up the family and ruins the experience. Our experiences in resort/apartment rentals range from "good" to "miserable". Our last jaunt was to the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix in December where we stayed at a well known golf resort in a 3 bedroom condo. It was nice, but it could not compare to ParisPerfect. The Romanee was miles and miles better than any other apartment or resort I have ever been to, and was, well â€“ Perfect! We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank You Paris Perfect.
