Picardin Review by Ardene W

The Paris Perfect experience from reservation to check-in was very good and questions were addressed promptly. Picardin is in a wonderful very central neighbourhood with great food shops and cafes nearby. The apartment itself is very small and unfortunately, the main room is dark - you need to have lights on all the time as there is little natural daylight coming in. The kitchen is excellent and very functional for its size. It has everything you need in terms of tools and utensils. The shower is also small with no place to store things except the floor. The A/C was very much appreciated given the 30-degree weather but very loud as less than a metre from the bed. Generally, the apartment was okay.

Picardin is charming! It was the perfect home away from home, during my stay in Paris. The apartment was warm, inviting, and had everything I needed to make me feel comfortable and safe. The neighborhood equally enhanced my stay, the location was ideal and I adored the local merchants that I frequented each morning and evening. The Paris Perfect experience was incredible -- from reserving, checking in and out -- and I especially appreciated the personal welcome to Picardin. Thank you, Paris Perfect for enhancing my stay in Paris.

I enjoyed staying in Picardin which is located in a nice area (7th Arrond) and very close to the Rue de Bac metro. I stayed for 3 weeks and whilst the apartment was small it had all the necessities and the appliances were in good working order - although thought the power points in the kitchen area could have been more securely installed. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the lighting was bright. It was also nice to have 2 windows which could be easily opened for some fresh air. The downside of this apartment (for me) was that the neighbours were always incredibly noisy, especially in the early hours of every morning which resulted in disturbed sleep every night.

I had the pleasure of staying in the Picardin apartment and I cannot say enough good things about it! From the moment you book with Paris Perfect you are taken care of - they are very organized, professional and supportive. It was wonderful to have such a warm and friendly greeter and the welcome basket was wonderful. The location of the apartment is amazing! Rue du Bac is an awesome street, full of restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, banks, pharmacies. In addition, there is a metro station right on the street. As a woman traveling by herself, I felt very safe and comfortable in the apartment. It was super quiet and clean. The apartment has all the amenities you need (I did a lot of cooking in the apartment and even a couple loads of washing). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I really appreciated having soap and shampoo provided as well. Overall I had a fantastic time at the Picardin and I will definitely be back. Merci!

The apartment together with its amenities and location was excellent. We will travel to Paris again and book again through Paris Perfect. We will highly recommed Paris Perfect! The only hiccup (which was quickly resolved upon us contacting your Paris telephone number) was that we did not receive your email which provided us with the updated details of our greeter Patricia; we connected very quickly and she was so lovely and immediately made us feel very comfortable.

Paris perfect team is awesome. They are very attentive and always so prompt to help me if I have any questions before or during my stay. Picardin is located at a very convenient location and the subway is right next to it. It was very cozy studio and paris perfect team welcomed me with a bottle of wine, ornage juice and some snacks! They have everything that you asked for : many clean towels, dishes, coffee machines etc. The only one concern that I have is it is on the first floor that you need to climb a few stairs. With a heavy luggage, it might not be the best choice. Additionally since there is one small heater and one in the bathroom, during cold winter, I can see that the room can get quite cold and dry. While I was staying in Paris during November, since it wasn't too cold, I did not have too much problem though. I would definitely recommend to stay at Picardin and very looking forward to staying other apartment that Paris Perfect offers soon. thank you so much for wonderful stay in Paris 🙂

Briggetti was very helpful, gave good clear instructions, and our taxi driver Alex (who met us at the airport) was wonderful! We are returning to this apartment upon our return to Paris - we look forward to coming back. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful week in Paris while staying at the Picardin. It was our first trip to Paris. The Picardin was wonderful. It had everything we needed. The decor was lovely. Very French. The location was ideal. We loved that it was centrally located and near the metro. Right outside the apartment building was a small market, coffee shop, chocolate and cookie shops, cafes and clothing shops - just to name a few. Loved having our morning cappuccino watching the merchants start their day. Our greeter was waiting for us when our taxi dropped us off at the apartment. We so appreciated her personal overview of the neighborhood and the apartment. She gave us her contact info in case we needed anything. Our first trip to Paris could not have been better! We will definitely use Paris Perfect in the future!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Picardin apartment. This was our 4th apartment rental with Paris Perfect, the location was the best in Paris. We are big "foodies" so the short walk to the Le Bon Marche Grand Epicerie was a real treat. Just a few steps from the entrance to the apartment we found the Fish Monger along with local shopping for all our needs. Paris Perfect always exceeds our expectations, we look forward to our next trip to Paris.

Love, just LOVED Paris.. Everyone said it would be incredible and it was even better than that. We appreciated everyday and were relaxed knowing that if we had an issue or a problem we could simply call Paris Perfect and they would handle it. The studio we stayed in for the week, Picardin, was ideal for us.. Downtown in the middle of everything in the lovely 7th arrondissement. Whatever we wanted was at our fingertips. We enjoy cooking so in addition to being close to butcher shops, fish mongers, and vegetable stands Picardin is just several blocks north of Le Grand Epicerie. Throw in the Galeries Layfayette about 1.5 miles across the river and you have access to all the groceries or ready made products you could ever imagine. No I'm serious, ever imagine.. Add to that the fact that you are only a few blocks south of the Seine and you couldn't ask for more... Walk to the Lourve, Walk to Musee Rodin, Walk to Luexembourg Gardens... Walk to everywhere.. If you are like us and enjoy art, history, and food (especially butter, oh my goodness the butter!!!) I can think of no better place to visit and I wholeheartedly suggest Paris Perfect to take the guesswork out of your trip. Enjoy

The location of Picardin worked out great for us. Nice bistros on Rue de Bac and near by, and walking distance to most of the great Paris attractions. The apartment itself was cozy but workable. A bit noisy in the mornings, as kids run down the stairs to go to school, and the odors from the restaurant just below took a bit of getting use to. Overall, we had great time and will definitely consider Paris Perfect again.

This is a sweet studio apartment with all the amenities you will need for a perfect stay in Paris. Great location an easy walk to shopping and many restaurants in the Saint Germain area. Located between the 6th and 7th arrondissement makes this ideal for walking to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg gardens and the Rodin Museum. I would highly recommend renting Picardin over a hotel room.

Perfect is a high standard and Paris Perfect has set that as a goal for themselves. I have only minor suggestion for improvements but, generally, think they have achieved their goal. We had a lovely vacation in a place that, in short, felt like home. As a rental, it had some unexpected perks, such as, a library of local travel books, movies and (some) music and even an international electric power plug adapter. Further, there was a curated guide (in English) to the immediate neighborhood which provided a local's knowledge of the better and worse in the area. We were met at the apt. and given a brief introduction to the 'must-know' points of it. In addition, it had a notebook with curated instructions (in English) for the apartment and all of its appliances. Upon settling in we found a complimentary bottle of wine to start off our stay. The thought and the wine, of course, were both lovely. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

Our stay at Picardin was perfect! The apartment was well equipped with up-to-date kitchen and bathroom - and facing a courtyard, so very quiet. Despite it's compact size there was a place for everything. The location couldn't have been better - wonderful restaurants and shopping a stone's throw away. We received a thorough orientation to the apartment and neighborhood from Lia, our greeter, and would recommend Victor for transportation to and from the airport. We will not hesitate to recommend Paris Perfect to friends and family!

Planning your next trip to Paris? Put on the top of your to-do list the renting from Paris Perfect of your apartment home-away-from home! I selected Picardin for my recent visit and recommend it highly. Located on the Rue du Bac, this charming studio apartment is beautifully and thoughtfully outfitted, with French charm and comfort, including a fully-equipped kitchen, WiFI, TV and phone. Walk down the one flight of curved vintage wooden stairs to the entry courtyard leading to the street and you’re mere steps away from almost any destination of your choice. Major museums, historical sites, even the Seine are at most a 30-minute walk from your door, with cafes, shops, bakeries, etc. all along the street (Au Bon Marche is only four blocks away). Paris Perfect was an ideal broker, delivering exceptional service at every step of the process. They were in frequent contact with me as my trip approached, constantly providing helpful information and details. Their service didn’t end with the booking; they also scheduled a lovely greeter (I was lucky enough to have Lia as my greeter) to meet me at the apartment and introduce me to its features. The welcome even included a thoughtful basket filled with treats, coffee and wine. I give the apartment and the company a solid 10 out of 10!

Picardin Review

by Richard Payne
Our stay in Paris was everything we hoped it would be. Our decision to rent an apartment as opposed to a hotel stay definitely added to a very pleasurable vacation. Paris Perfect was extremely accommodating from the beginning - the quick response with short notice on available properties and the flexibility for early arrival as well as later departure. All of my inquiries were responded to quickly and professionally. The apartment itself was quaint and perfectly located on Rue du Bac - a street that literally has everything you need (and then some). One piece of constructive feedback, however. While it was uncharasterically hot in Paris during our stay, the portable AC unit was ineffective to control the temperature in the apartment. The primary reason is that the exhaust of the unit was not vented to the outside. Therefore, the cold air was offset by the hot exhaust air. We were able to compensate somewhat by opening the windows to all some of the exhaust to ventilate to outside but of course in doing so the windows are wide open and again renders the cold air ineffective. The day before we were to leave the unit quit working altogether - for reasons I do not know. I did inform Lia about the issue but told her not to worry as we only had one more day and we would be OK. Even with the issue of the portable unit - I would most definitely use Paris Perfect again as well as the Picardin apt.

Charming little apartment ideally situated between the 6th & 7th arrondissement. It is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, attractions and public transportation. The well-decorated apartment itself is cozy, but has everything you need to make your stay in Paris comfortable, with a good amount of storage to unpack. The bed linens were really nice and deserve notice. This is a great place for 1 person, and a little tight for 2, but doable for a shorter stay or two people don't plan on spending much time in the apartment.

My daughter and I stayed in Picardin for 5 nights in March 2015. It is a charming studio apartment with a small kitchenette and bath. The apartment is well equipped. It is centrally located and makes for an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower (15-20 minutes) in one direction and Notre Dame (15-20 minutes) in the other direction - with the Orsay and Louvre just a stones throw over the bridge. The boulangeries and shops around the apartment are charming. This is not an apartment for lounging around in and entertaining, but a lovely little place to wind down your day and get a good nights sleep for exploring the next day. It is comparable to a nice hotel, but with the added benefit of a small kitchen for preparing breakfast or a snack. If you don't plan to be in your apartment much during the day, this is the perfect apartment for 2.
