Le Mas

5 Bedrooms 7.5 Bathrooms Sleeps 0 Provence

Take in the luscious sights and scents of Provence with an escape to your own private villa in the southeast of France. The Le Mas is a secluded retreat surrounded by 42 acres of award-winning vineyards, and features breathtaking views of the Massif des Maures, a protected national park. You'll enjoy a personal resort that's miles away from ordinary, thanks to a private saltwater pool, multiple balconies with vineyard vistas and lush manicured gardens featuring the joyous scents of Provence - lavender, rosemary, wisteria, olive and mulberry trees. The estate also includes La Bastide, which can be rented together and offer space for up to 26 guests. Perfect for large celebrations!

Enjoy all the comforts of a high-quality resort with modern amenities and ample room to spread out. Le Mas boasts five bedrooms with peaceful views from private balconies. Bedrooms 1 and 2 on the upper floor have stunning views over the vineyard from the balcony. Bedroom 3 is on the first floor, with French windows that open directly onto the pool area. Bedroom 4 and 5 are also on the first floor, with bedroom 4 offering views over the terrace and garden, while bedroom 5 features views over the rear courtyard and vines beyond. All bedrooms also have en suite bathrooms to ensure a comfortable stay.

For family gatherings, the large kitchen is perfect for preparing fresh meals using market-fresh ingredients. Gather in the indoor dining area near the terrace or at an outside table in the courtyard. A refined living area with ample seating and a charming piano will also be a favorite gathering space, although sunny days at the pool and exploring gardens will entice you to spend time outside.

Take a short drive to the charming medieval villages with markets, shops and tons of French charm. Don't miss Vence and Gourdon, two of the most beautiful villages in Provence, or Grasse, which is famous for traditional perfume production. Drive south to the coast where Saint-Tropez, Antibes, Nice and the French Riviera await!

Please Note:

A car is essential to make the best of a visit to the Domaine de l’Amour estate. For all its seclusion, it is located only 12 miles from the A8 motorway from which Aix-en-Provence, Gorges du Verdon and Provence's top destinations can be reached.

This property is located in the same vineyard as La Bastide and can be rented together - excellent for large family reunions and celebrations! The properties are located 400m apart, close enough to walk between them in 2 minutes but not within view or earshot of one another.

Le Mas Review

by Lisa V
Our stay at Le Mas exceeded our expectations! There were 6 of us who stayed for 3 nights recently and we're all looking forward to returning because it was definitely not enough time. This was a stop on a two-week European adventure which included Italy, Spain and France (South of and Paris), but we're so glad we had the opportunity to stay and have found a place to which we will return, hopefully soon and regularly. Provence and the South of France are so incredibly beautiful. One of the most beautiful places we've ever been. Quite frankly, the pictures do not do it justice! The rooms and bathrooms were all very spacious. The kitchen was truly fully appointed and it was great to have a washer/dryer and outdoor clothes line. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there, including information on local markets, restaurants and things to do/see. Breakfast on the terrace was dreamy, as were the sunsets. We took some advantage of the pool and bocce court, both were great. The living room was perfectly comfortable and where we enjoyed cocktail hours and after-dinner hangouts enjoying wine from the vineyard. Vidabaun, a really quaint little town, is a short car ride away. We had a fabulous lunch there one day and picked up groceries at the Intermarche to make our own dinners. Another of the days we took a drive to La Motte, about 30 minutes away, where we toured Chateau d'Esclans (home of Whispering Angel). One last note, Sue the Guardienne is an absolute gem! She made our stay extra memorable with how welcoming and helpful she was. And Lucas, her family dog was an added bonus. He's very sweet and friendly. Cannot say enough about Le Mas. Go. Stay. Enjoy!

Le Mas Review

I love paris perfect!

Things to See & Do

Port Grimaud (25 mins Walking)
Located in a natural bay to the west of Saint-Tropez on the French Rviera. It is a water based village designed by Francois Spoerry, a famous 20th century architect, in 1966 in which the streets almost seem to emerge from the water. The town can only be accessed by boat or on foot.
Sainte Maxime (30 mins Walking)
With the beautiful clear waters of the Mediterranean to the south and the Maures mountains to the north, Sainte Maxime has breathtaking views in every direction.
Lorgues (35 mins Walking)
Small town is in a lovely setting, typically Provencal with vineyards and olive trees around the town.
Saint Tropez (40 mins Walking)
One of the liveliest towns along the French Riveria during the summer. Vacationers delight in the sandy beaches, culture, gourmet food and nightlife.
