La Musique

We really enjoyed La Musique. We've stayed with Paris Perfect in other apartments across the city and this was the most spacious we've experienced. Loved how open it was from the kitchen to dinette to living room and yes even open to the sitting room. While it was quiet, be aware that the metro seems to go right under the building so you will get that low rumble. It wasn't a problem at all for us as I always bring a small tabletop fan to create white noise. We slept well. Other than that the apartment was very quiet. I did find the bed in the primary bedroom a bit too firm (although my husband was okay with it). If you don't like a hard bed, this isn't for you. We stayed in the winter and were able to heat the apartment comfortably. The radiators are all located under/close to the windows which have long draperies. If you close the drapes, you cover the radiators - so when it gets dark early in the winter - you end up sacrificing some privacy to keep the drapes open to heat the apartment. The apartment was well appointed with all the utensils, dishes, and surprisingly quite a few styles of coffee makers to suit various tastes. The washer/dryer worked well and loved that it was in an actual separate small room rather than tucked in a closet in the main hallway or in the kitchen. The elevator worked well. The location was well suited to explore La Marais and if you're a lady who enjoys shopping for treasures - then this is the spot for you as La Marais is loaded with vintage stores featuring designer pieces at prices that don't make your eyes water - unless you want to cry over how good the deals are. I also loved that it was so close to Place de Voge's.

We stayed at La Musique before in 2017 and we loved the location in a good building. Everything was as expected from Paris perfect, clean bedding, towels , amenities etc… but the dishwasher, the fridge were not in a good condition at all. The fridge was barely cool our food. The worst part of our stay was shower has mold everywhere ( we have a VDO clip) . It’s not acceptable for the price point of over $600 a night. If you split the cost between 2 couples, we might have convinced ourselves that it’s worth it. But in our case it’s not worth the cost. Luckily, the bed was good. I hope you find this review fair and published it. Because in the past you have chosen not to publish the honest reviews and replied privately via email.

This apartment was perfect for my family. It looks exactly like the photos and offered all the conveniences of a hotel, plenty of fresh towels, very comfortable beds, great water pressure, peace and quiet, and a fascinating library. This was my family’s first time in Europe, including my 65-year-old mom, and everyone felt right at home. I’ve lived in Paris before, and this is one of my favorite neighborhoods. It’s close to all the Marais highlights but just far enough from the crowds. We stayed during a heatwave (100°F+), and while there’s no AC, the fans and airflow from the internal shafts kept us comfortable enough. Don’t miss the amazing new bakery (Moon Croissant) across the street, and be sure to explore the nearby Bastille Market. I’d recommend this place to family and friends!

My adult son and I spent 2 weeks in France, the last 5+ days of which were in Paris. La Musique exceeded all our expectations! The pictures are accurate...the apartment really is just as beautiful and spacious as shown. Natasja's welcome was warm, and she fully explained all the appliances, told us about the neighborhood, and answered our questions. The location is ideal, with the best boulangerie just two blocks away, and a lovely market/café literally right downstairs. We loved le Marais and would stay in that neighborhood again! The only word of caution we have: the 2nd toilet is in a very small space, smaller than an airplane bathroom. For someone large or, like my son, claustrophobic, that could be a problem. But really, since that's the only negative, you can't go wrong with La Musique!

It was lovely! Everything was great. We have stayed with PP multiple times in many different apartments throughout Paris and couldn’t be happier with the quality and location of each one. Planning another visit this summer so will be in touch again shortly!

Our stay in the La Musique apartment was nothing short of perfect. Just outside the door on Boulevard Beaumarchais is Maison Plisson, which has both a bistro and grocery — be sure to try their flavored butter and saucisson. Then head to Land&Monkeys for a baguette tradition — the perfect quick snack. The apartment was the perfect size for us. My daughter loved her blue bedroom and private bathroom. The washer/dryer, kitchen, and living areas provided all the modern comforts of home. This apartment is our ideal place to stay in Paris during the spring and winter (note: there is no air conditioning, so keep that in mind if booking for summer). Metro station is a 5 minute walk away. And walk everywhere to explore Les Marais: restaurants (Cafe Musee), shops (oh my gosh the vintage stores!). And from there walk to the 4th, 5th/6th. So convenient! To Natasja and the rest of the Paris Perfect team — merci beaucoup. Nous reviendrons!

Great location, fabulous apartment with all the amenities, very comfortable bed and terrific service. Would definitely choose to stay here again as there’s so much to see and do. Truly appreciated the considerable information and recommendations provided.

The apartment is just as lovely as advertised. The check-in process was effortless. Natasja explained the details and workings of the apartment. La Musique fit our needs and satisfied our expectations. With its generous size and layout, this apartment is a wonderful space in an excellent location. The Place des Vosges is just steps away. Come out the front entrance way, and the Metro is a block away. Varied restaurants and a grocery store are all right there for your convenience. We were pleased with the nice quality of the bed linens and towels. Our stay at La Musique was delightful, and we look forward to our next Paris Perfect vacation. 

Our family of three stayed in this lovely, spacious apartment. The kitchen was well-stocked and the apartment was in a great location. Check in was easy and they even gave us a lovely welcome basket of food items and wine to get us started. Would be happy to stay there again!

La Musique was a perfect choice for the four of us. Paris Perfect was very helpful and the apartment is very comfortable. La Musique is steps from the nearest Metro and filled with dozens of guidebooks and other books about Paris. We definitely would come back.

La Musique was a perfect respite and, once again, Paris Perfect came through. The apartment was well-appointed with modern fixtures. The location was outstanding and with easy access to the Metro. It comfortably housed our party of four.

The apartment is perfectly located in a delightful arrondissement and close to shops, restaurants and the Metro. The very friendly and helpful greeter immediately set about sorting out our initial problem with the internet service, which we appreciated. The unit was well appointed with everything you could need. Also the Paris Perfect reservation people were helpful and efficient.

Excellent location steps from Place des Vosges and the heart of the Marais. Spacious, well-appointed and full of light. Check-in was easy, and staff was attentive. Very good beds, which is not always the case with other rental agencies. Quite quiet, although light sleepers should be aware of rumbling that our building manager believed was from the metro that runs beneath the boulevard on which the building is located.

This is the 3rd time we have used Paris Perfect and Italy Perfect. Each time, the service has been exceptional and we have been happy with our accommodations. La Musique is an adorable apartment which is located in one of my favorite arrondisements. The staff at Paris/Italy Perfect is ways very helpful.

We spent a glorious month in this amazing apartment and had the best time ever We have rented many apartments in the past 20 Years in Paris, but none compared to La Musique It is well spaced for two couples with each of us having the comforts of home The design and decor were exactly as pictured and quite beautiful. Being situated on the inner courtyard gave us privacy and quiet, although we were only a block away from a major Metro line We had a few minor requests that were addressed immediately and our apartment manager, Dorsaff, made sure we were happy and everything was perfect If you have the opportunity to spend even a week in this apartment you will Realize what a gem it is in the Paris rental Market

Everything was exactly as described. Great location. Definitely would recommend this apartment and Paris Perfect. I was a "solo" traveler and felt very safe and comfortable in the apartment and neighborhood.

First, I must say how helpful and responsive the staff at Paris Perfect was. As we got closer to our travel date, I had many questions and each time I wrote or called, I got the answers I needed promptly. La Musique became our home for a week. Simply put, the location in the Marais, the charming building, and the lovely apartment were just perfect. We loved the musical decor, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms gave us privacy and space, and the living room and kitchen areas were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We walked everywhere from this fantastic location and with the help of the Paris Perfect neighborhood guide, we quickly found our favorite boulangerie (Maison Landemaine) cafes, and shops. Our greeter, was helpful, cheerful and accommodating. Victor's taxi service that Paris Perfect recommended was terrific and professional. We love Paris Perfect!

Our stay at La Musique was by far our best experience in Paris. From the moment we met our host, we knew this was going to be a special place. The apartment was provisioned with everything we needed for a one week stay. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in, and everything you may need can be found at Maison Plisson next door, or the Franprix around the corner. The bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable, and the sheets were heaven. Also the location was fantastic for museums, restaurants and cafes, and easy access to Metro. Not only will we recommend Paris Perfect and La Musique to friends, but we feel like we have found our place in Paris for future visits.

Our last 24 hours in Paris seemed to fly by, and I realize that I left without leaving any guest feedback. The apartment far exceeded our expectations. We appreciated how well stocked it was and how comfortable we felt there. The neighborhood information provided by Paris Perfect was wonderful and utilized. I've been to Paris many times, but this was by far my best experience. I will personally stay in one of your apartments--if not La Musique--on all future personal visits. As a travel professional, I certainly look forward to utilizing the Paris Perfect apartments and services for my clients traveling to Paris (or the other offered locations) whenever it is possible to do so. What a perfect apartment. It was so cozy to return here each afternoon after our days of perusing museums, taking long walks in the cold and of course eating. The apartment had everything we could possibly need. The apartment is beautifully appointed and so well kept. Our daughter is studying for her masters and this was our comfortable base to spend the week visiting her. A true home away from home.

This was our first time to Paris. The La Musique apartment and Paris Perfect arrangements were flawless. The apartment is in a lovely neighborhood just outside of Paris with a 2 min walk to the #8 metro line and a bus stop right outside the door. The apartment was quiet and well maintained. There is no street noise. As with all apartments, you will hear the occasional steps from above, but the neighbors are respectful and it was always quiet after 9:00 pm. The apartment manager met us there when we arrived and gave us a complete walk-through. She was always available by phone for any questions we had. We also used Paris Perfect for our taxi and tour arrangements. Victor's taxi was prompt and the drivers were courteous and friendly - although if you are comfortable with the Paris metro, you can skip the traffic and take the train right from the airport. It was great to have a nice "starter pack" of pastries, coffee, and wine to get us going. The bakery, cafe, and market were just outside. November was not a green or blooming season in Paris, but if you like fall beauty, having virtually no waiting lines anywhere more than makes up for it.
