Holland Cottage

My wife's mum passed away this year and our kids are building families of their own so we decided we'd get away this year for Christmas. London Perfect was just the prescription and it delivered all that we had hoped for. Our flat was in a perfect neighborhood and on a very quiet street yet a 3 minute walk to Kensington High Street. The flat was clean, warm and comfortable and felt like home for our visit. There is no comparison any hotel can make to staying in a comfortable luxury flat, especially if your stay is longer than a couple of days. We'll definitely return and will do so knowing that the accommodations are excellent with Vacation Perfect. This was a bucket list affair and it delivered.

I am so grateful to have discovered London Perfect. They helped make our first family trip to England truly unforgettable. I had spent months searching for an affordable hotel in London that could comfortably accommodate our family of four, and the process was incredibly discouraging. Having the knowledge of what alternate lodging accommodations were out there makes me appreciate Holland Cottage ten-fold. We felt at home the moment we walked through the door. The property is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated, with every amenity we needed to feel relaxed and comfortable. High Street Kensington Station is only a five-minute walk away, and there’s a bus stop just around the corner, making all of London easily accessible. Many of our outings were within walking distance as well—St. Mary Abbots, the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace and Gardens, and the Design Museum, to name a few. Several grocery stores are also close by, which made it effortless to stay stocked up throughout our stay. After long days of exploring, it was wonderful to return to the Kensington neighborhood, where countless dining options are right at your doorstep. We especially loved the cozy pub just down the street, clearly a local favorite. And I can’t say enough about the London Perfect staff—they are absolute gems. We had a small mishap during our visit, and the team responded quickly, graciously, and with such genuine kindness that it hardly felt like a mishap at all. Thank you!

We had such a lovely 2 week stay at Holland Cottage. The property was charming, well located, spotless, comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed. We have rented through Paris Perfect before and had a great experience and London Perfect was no different! We look forward to returning soon.

We enjoyed our five night stay at Holland Cottage. While the location is very central and close to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace, the flat is on a small quiet street. Everything is updated and very clean. The terrace was great for morning coffee and evening drinks with amazing views of the church steeple. Lots of local pubs and restaurants around the corner in this chic neighborhood. We look forward to returning.

We loved staying in the Holland Cottage during our London trip. Close to everything but still on a quiet, private street. The flat is beautiful and comfortable for our family of 4. It had everything we needed while we were there. Highly recommend staying here. More affordable than a hotel in the area.

I began using Paris Perfect years ago and last year stayed in London with the London Perfect Team. Holland Cottage this year was as great as last year and definitely an amazing haven. The private garden/courtyard with St Mary Abbots as a backdrop, is a delight. Super comfy bed, aircon units for warmer weather. The kitchen is lovely and very well equipped. Of course the location is superb. it feels like a private little getaway in the midst of a bustling city. It definitely is a favourite for me and I am hoping it is available for my next sojourn in London.

This was an absolute perfect stay for our first trip to UK and London. Beautiful view from the garden patio and balcony. Very convenient access to the tube and buses. Very easy walk to Kensington Gardens. The Local contact at check-in helped us settle in quickly. Thank you for the great stay!

The Holland Cottage was lovely, comfortable, quiet and relaxing when needed, minutes away from everything. Attentive, accessible staff, driver on time and helpful. Vacation Perfect is our new go to.

A perfect stay!! Celebrating a college graduation (SMU – Go MUSTANGS!) and found this the perfect place for our family of 4 wanderers! Walked all over the city and loved our local pub at the end of the day. Church bells only added to the charm of this cottage. If you are ready for a good walk – head to the Churchill Arms for Thai food and a pint. Chakra Indian Kitchen up the road has inventive and delicious food close by. The Princess Royal on Hereford Rd (Notting Hill/Bayswater) – in our old neighborhood of 35 years ago – all good options. Mazi ($) but a great splurge for Greek,  beside the awesome Hillgate Pub for an outside pint or Pimms or Aperol Spritz (or 2). Love this City. Thank you to London Perfect for giving us a beautiful home away from home.

This flat is absolutely charming! The mews location is quiet and secluded and we were treated to the chiming of the nearby church bells. The kitchen is compact but well designed, the single bathroom spacious. The smaller bedroom is tight, but there is tons of storage in the master for stowing suitcases and clothing overflow. The grocery stores are just a short walk away, as are great shops and restaurants. We used the bus system a lot on this trip and it is so easy and the stops close by. The radiant heat was cozy. The washer and dryer were handy. In milder weather, the walled garden would have been great for enjoying a glass of wine or cup of tea. Wonderful home base!

Wonderful location with a very quiet small cul de sac. Loved the amenities. Will return again! The only suggestion is to PLEASE put treads on the stairs. Even with slippers that had treads on them, all 3 of us slipped on the stairs more than one time.

This lovely mews home was a new listing with London Perfect rentals. We chose this property for several reasons: location, size and the fact that it had a washing machine and dryer and the most important to us was that the listing had A/C. We had already been on the continent for several weeks and needed the washing facilities - which were new and worked splendidly. Our greeter Franny was lovely and super helpful. While we were aware the home didn't have a full HVAC system - the description of the property stated that there would be 3 A/C units/systems available in the home - one for each bedroom and one for the living area. Upon arrival - there were no units. We found one in the laundry (which future renters should now is only accessible from the outside garden - not super convenient for those London rain showers) that we barely managed to get upstairs. We contacted the office and they said they'd send another unit the next morning. It wasn't delivered until the evening of the next day along with a fan. So, we ended up with only 2 units and 1 fan. Otherwise - property is well appointed, plenty of space and lovely. We'd rent again from London Perfect rentals but just confirm before arrival that the property will be as described.
