Super-convenient location the Fedele apartment is perfect for exploring all of the sites of Rome, starting with the world-famous Trevi Fountain. No trip to Rome would be complete without making a wish and throwing coins in the fountain which is just a few minutes walk from the apartment!


Location

Located just off upscale Via del Tritone which is crowned by Piazza Barberini and the favorite Trident Fountain, the Fedele apartment is in the Spanish Steps-Trevi Fountain area, the most requested area for seeing the sites of historic Rome. It is walkable to the sites and convenient to transportation options. Explore the many excellent restaurants for either fancy or casual dining, shop along Via del Tritone and Via del Corso or enjoy a gelato at one of the many gourmet gelaterias in the neighborhood. A supermarket is just one block away.


Interior

The comfortable Fedele apartment is bright and high in the building. The living room has two sets of French doors with charming Juliet balconies, two sofas for ample seating and a dining table. Original beamed ceilings above provide a real Roman atmosphere. The kitchen is well appointed.


The bedrooms are at the back of the apartment which means quiet for sleeping in a bustling city like Rome. Bedroom 1 is spacious and has a small en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a day bed that can be prepared as a queen bed for two.

Trevi Fountain (5 mins Walk)
Beautiful Baroque fountain, the largest in Rome, a city of fountains. Here is where you throw 3 coins over your shoulder to ensure you will return to Rome.
Via Veneto (7 mins Walk)
Famous, elegant and historic street in Rome. Starts at the Roman wall and ends in Piazza Barberini with its famous fountains. The central location for Fellini's La Dolce Vita film.Spanish Steps (8 mins Walk)
One of the most famous piazzas in the world with the beautiful steps rising from the Barcaccia ("bad boat") fountain to the Trinita dei Monti church. Neighborhood for designer shopping and people-watching.
Pantheon (13 mins Walk)
Must-visit. This temple to all the gods (pan-theon in Greek) breathes history starting with its architecture from 2000 years ago. It is the only complete monument from Roman times. Built of concrete, the hemispherical roof is of one piece with its hole in the center.
Piazza Venezia (14 mins Walk)
Center of Roman power, monuments and traffic. Reigned over by the Victor Emmanuel monument to the first King of Italy, called the "wedding cake" it leads to the great shopping of the Corso, the ancient Piazza Campidoglio, and to the grand street along the Roman Forums to the Coliseum.
Piazza Navona (16 mins Walk)
Iconic piazza of Rome where Romans once raced their chariots. Three beautiful fountains the chief being the Fountain of the Four rivers. Enjoy street musicians and small vendors. Great place to hang out, dine and have a gelato.
Capitoline Hill (17 mins Walk)
The Campidoglio, the smallest and most fabled of the seven hills of Rome. The ancient temples have given way to a beautiful piazza, palazzos and majestic stairs designed by Michelangelo. Dramatic statue of Marcus Aurelius. Small and important museum. Tarpeian Rock in Roman times.

St. Peter's Basilica (19 mins via Taxi)
One of the holiest catholic churches, the church of the Pope. It is very large and filled with inspiring and beautiful art and areas. A tour is recommended.
Vatican Museums (23 mins via Taxi)
The incomparable art collections of the Popes over the centuries. Unique and historically significant places such as the Sistine Chapel. Tour guide and early arrival are recommended.
Campo de' Fiori (22 mins Walk)
Large, central piazza with famous and picturesque daily open-air farmer's market, surrounded by restaurants. Famous statue of philosopher Giordano Bruno burned here for heresy. Young folks gather here in the evenings. Thick with history and in the heart of the city.
Coliseum (22 mins Walk)
Icon of Rome and Roman times, the arena of the gladiators.
