Tucked away on a hidden mews, the Wellesley offers a peaceful stay just around the corner from Sloane Square in Chelsea. Follow a charming passageway between two buildings to a pretty courtyard garden where you'll find the entrance to this lovely two level mews home. Step into the beautifully decorated living room and dining area with a fully remodeled modern kitchen just to the left.

Both areas overlook the private patio garden with a bistro table and chairs where you can dine outdoors right in the heart of London. Climb the staircase to the upper level to find a spacious bedroom with a luxurious bed and a large bathroom nearby. The sofa on the main level opens to a comfortable bed, which makes this mews home comfortable for up to three guests. With antique décor and beautiful artwork throughout, the Wellesley offers a truly special stay in London.

Step outside and you'll be just moments from Sloane Square-the bustling heart of Chelsea-with trendy King's Road lined with shops and restaurants, the biggest names in international fashion along Sloane Street and charming boutiques on pretty Elizabeth Street. You'll fall in love with the Wellesley's quiet location just between Chelsea and Belgravia, two of the most luxurious and sought-after neighborhoods in London! Enjoy strolling to Museum Row in South Kensington, Harrods department store in Knightsbridge or Hyde Park during your stay. Hop on the Tube at nearby Sloane Square, which is also a centre for bus connections so you can easily and quickly reach all the top spots in central London.

Wellesley Review

The Wellesley apartment is a charming and comfortable cottage located in a very private and quiet mews just off Sloane Square. It was exactly "as advertised" on the VRBO website. It is well appointed in terms of both overall decor and furnishings (furniture and everyday needs). My girlfriend and I were there from December 29 thru January 5 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My only suggestion for future guests who are there in colder weather is to make sure there space heaters available for use on each of the first and second levels to ensure that the apartment is comfortably warm. London Perfect provided a second space heater to supplement the one already in place on our first night and we never had a heating issue thereafter. Both my girlfriend and I have been to London many, many times and we would not hesitate to stay at the Wellesley apartment again.

We stayed in this gem right off of Sloan Square and loved it. This is a 2 story unit hidden in a small corridor off of Bourne Street and is perfect for a couple. The upstairs is a reasonably spacious bedroom (with no tv) and a small bit modern bathroom with lots of storage space as well as separate shower and bath. The bed is as good as any we've had in any 5 star hotel in Europe. Downstairs is a modern, fully equipped kitchen (with a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher and combination washer/dryer) and a combination living room/dining room. The dining room is perfect for breakfast but might not be suitable for dinners. There is a working fire place in the living room. The unit has a separate heater in the bedroom area. The wifi worked better than at most apartments we've rented. We found it easy to have Uber come to the Bourne Street address and never had any difficulty with cabs getting us home. We cannot say enough positives about the location. There are many restaurants within walking distance, 2 great Saturday markets and also a great pub, the Antelope, within a 3 minute walk.

Location was perfect, bed was small (expected US king), stairs a challenge, nicely furnished, microwave would be helpful.

We had a great stay at the Wellesley. It's a charming home, a perfect size for two, with a very comfortable bedroom and tucked away off away from the streets so it's peaceful and relaxing. At the same time, it's just around the corner from shopping and the Tube station and then just a short trip to the major London attractions. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and well appointed -- the only thing one might miss is a microwave. It's a place we'd be happy to return to on a future trip to London.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Wellesley apartment. It is just the way it looks in the photographs--charmingly chic and cozy. The front patio is delightful, the kitchen well equipped, and the bed comfortable. It is a perfect place for two people who want to spend their days touring and have a nice place to spend evenings and breakfast time. The apartment is only a couple of blocks from Sloane Square and the Underground, yet it is so quiet you would never know you are in a city. Nearby are good markets and restaurants--we recommend the Botanist, Colbert, and Pot au Poule. The people with LondonPerfect were friendly, helpful, and very responsive. We had a very successful Rome rental through ItalyPerfect earlier this year. We would highly recommend both organizations to our friends.

We have just returned from our London visit, staying six nights in the Wellesley apartment. It is exactly as it looks in the photos--chicly updated in a little mews court. The location was just a couple of blocks from Sloane Square and the Underground, yet the apartment was very quiet. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Sitting outside on the little front patio was a real pleasure. The folks at London Perfect were always responsive, helpful, and friendly. We would recommend Wellesley and London Perfect to all our friends.

A delightful mews house and very well appointed. A real haven of peace. So quiet you would never know you were in central London and yet you have the delights of Chelsea less than 5 minutes away.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Wellesley property and I would highly recommend it. It was exactly as presented in the London Perfect pictures and was perfectly spotless and charming. It had an extremely well equipped kitchen and the location was excellent. The apartment was around the corner from the Sloane Square tube stop but since it was down a private path, it was totally quiet. We were close to excellent restaurants and lovely stores. What more can you ask! I was very impressed with how professionally London Perfect was run. By the way, use Lushi for your transportation needs.

The Wellesley is a spotless, beautifully kept apartment in a very quiet mews just around the corner from Sloane Square. It is just a few minutes' walk to catch a bus or the Tube. It is close to a lot of interesting shops as well. We found that the kitchen had lots of dishes, utensils, and a wonderful Nespresso coffee maker, but could have used a toaster and perhaps a microwave oven. Although the heritage windows had heavy blinds to cover them, the cold air got in around the front door. It was very drafty, even though we used the draft excluder under the door. Perhaps some weather stripping around it would help to keep out the winter winds. We hope to be able to stay there again sometime, when the weather is not unseasonably cold. We appreciated being picked up at the airport by a courteous London Perfect Driver, and also being greeted by Ed, who made sure we had some fresh milk and some cookies for our tea.

The Wellesley is absolutely charming. We arrived late at night to be greeted by Ed from London Perfect, who had put the gas fireplace on to take the chill away. London was particularly wet and cold through the week. Sadly we did not get to sit in the garden and sip our morning tea/coffee. Looking forward to that on our next trip. The Wellesley is very quiet even though it is just round the corner from Sloane Square. A wonderful location. Everything at your fingertips. Ed was wonderful at explaining the features of the flat. We thoroughy enjoyed our stay at the Wellesley. We will come again.
