Location
South of Sorrento, the Massa Lubrense promontory forms the southern arm of the beautiful bay of Naples.
A curving road leads down from the Amalfi Coast road past a number of villas. Villa Sole is at the end of the road, as close to the sea as one can get here.
The public sandy beach is 80 steps down from the villa. Sea walls calm the waters close to shore. You can hire a boat to come to the jetty for a trip out on the water and to the islands of Capri and Ischia.
A short walk along the seaside path takes you to a charming fishing village with several casual restaurants and dock where you may rent boat service.
Exterior
Villa Sole is two floors above the street level where you may park up to 4 cars.
The villa has two parts, a four bedroom main villa and a two bedroom apartment that is separate in terms of entrances.
Interior
The main terrace wraps the living room and dining area with a long railing overlooking the sea. The Isle of Capri fills the horizon and you can watch boats and the ferries that connect all the seaside towns. The second terrace flows around the bedrooms in the upper level, the tower.
The four bedroom main villa is large, 2700 sq ft. Spacious living room, kitchen, dining room. Behind the kitchen is a lovely outdoor, covered dining area. Adjoining the main part of the Villa is a standalone 2-bedroom apartment that is rented together with the main villa. The apartment of 750 sq ft has a large living and dining room. It also has its own terrace with a children's play area. There is a small kitchen.

Perfect Family Vacation
by MarieA week at Italy Perfect's Villa Sole was definitely a Perfect family vacation. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. There was plenty of room for our family of twelve, and the accommodations were lovely. The views were magnificent, particularly the sunsets over the Bay of Naples with Capri and Ischia in the distance. There are even lemon trees on the property with an abundance of fruit to admire and possibly pick. We found the area very convenient for our needs. We did rent a car for necessary grocery runs, etc., but the cab service (through Persico) was convenient, and the boat we had prearranged was able to pick us up at the dock at Marina della Lobra, a short, pleasant walk from the Villa. That small port also includes a few restaurants and a convenience story that is amazing -- both for the variety of items they sell and for how helpful the owners/clerks are. They even called a cab for our sons one day! Our greeter was helpful and extremely pleasant. She was quick to respond to our questions and requests. The 2 dinners prepared by the in-house chef were delicious with all fresh, local ingredients and baked goods -- definitely a plus with little children. Our experience with Italy Perfect was very positive. Lisa, our salesperson , was responsive and enabled us to get a good sense of the villa. I would, however, suggest that anyone renting for the first time (as I was) carefully read the details on-line about the specific property, as the contracts vary greatly in areas of security deposits, cleaning, washers and dryers, etc. Overall our stay at Villa Sole was a beautiful family escape, and my wish is that we can all return some day. The Location is Truly Spectacular
by RosannaThis was our second time staying at this house. the first time we stayed at Villa Mare. This time at Vila Sole. The computer photos do not do justice to this wonnderful place. We felt very much at home here. The location is truly spectacular. From the expansive porches you can see Capri, Ischia and the bay of Naples. Breathtaking. This was such a wonderful find.. Tranquil, peaceful, clean.... all you could ask for in a vacation rental. We loved looking at the beautiful flowers, the lemon trees, and of course the sea. Sunsets were beyond words!!!. We want to return again soon! The Massa Lubrense area is not very touristy so we really liked that. We had dinner at Michelle's and Funiculi FUnicula and la Cartuccia. All excellent!. I have recommended Italy Perfect to many and will continue to do so. It is easy. They are thorough and I can't wait to book my next trip!!!!
