Down the road to Montefiridolfi is a small modern art center with periodic exhibits.

Just up the road is Castello Niccolo. It is about 100 yards distant.

Also between the Castello and the village of Montefiridolfi is a recently discovered Etruscan Tomb.

The Tomb of the Archers is in ruins but there is find a reconstruction of the ancient Etruscan tomb.

The nearest town an ancient settlement dating from at least Roman times, San Casciano Val di Pesa.
The villa is a rambling farmhouse located located about 100 yards from Castlello Niccolo that manages the property. The view across the Pesa Valley is quite beautiful and displays many personalities depending on the light and weather. It is surrounding by olive groves as well as vinyards that produce the grapes for the chianti classico wine produced by the property.
Exterior
This is an independent villa with a private pool (15 x 30 feet) and gym that has two apartments that are rented together except in low season. The barn has some table games.
Interior
The feeling in thiis property is welcoming and warm. Many windows admit natural light in abundance. The furnishings are a mixture of family antiques, oriental carpets together with modern conveniences.
On the main floor there is a spacious living room with a fire place, a separate sitting room, a large kitchen and also a dining room with a table that seats 8. A loggia off of the kitchen invites outdoor dining with a view of the valley.
The main living room has a double sofa bed. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a sitting room.
The villa is great for a gathering of friends and family because the large bedrooms have their own seating area. And there is a sitting area separate from the living room on the ground floor.
On the ground level is a separate apartment with its own large living/dining room and a small kitchen. There are two separate sofa beds here.
There is a gym located on an outbuilding on the property. Mountain bikes available.
Optional cold breakfast buffet available in breakfast room at Castello up the road, reserved the day before, fee applies. Wine tasting, guided tours, a car with driver, baby sitting, cooking classes, a chef and yoga lessons, massages, and facials are also available at the castle.

Antinori Cellars (6 mins Driving)
Famous for its Chianti and Super Tuscan wines, their cellars are set among olive groves, vineyards and oak trees. Designed by one of Italys leading architects the 540,000 square-foot structure includes an auditorium, a museum, a restaurant and a wine shop.

San Casciano in Val di Pesa (10 mins Driving)
Delightful village on a hill with small fortresses and churches to discover. Markets, shops and restaurants.

Greve in Chianti (35 mins Driving)
One of the great wine towns of Italy, famous for Chianti wine, fine shops and restaurants. The triangular main piazza with collonnades hosts wine-focused events and an organic farmer's market, check schedule. Art and history abound in this easy to visit town.
Radda in Chianti (40 mins Driving)
Ancient village, long the headquarters of the Chianti League for wine. Wonderful wandering the streets, tunnels, views and restaurants with, of course, Chianti wine.
San Gimignano (40 mins Driving)
Stunning town that bristles with 14 medieval tower-homes that remain from the original 72. UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its saffron and wine Vernaccia.
Siena (60 mins Driving)
Called Italy's loveliest medieval city with cuisine, art, museums, churches and famous art. Unique medieval culture that is reflected in the twice annual Palio horse race that some call insane. Look for videos.
