The secluded and relaxing Villa Landolfo is located a prime area of Tuscany, with a wealth of attractions nearby. Stroll to charming town of Lucignano, less than a 1 mile walk.
It is close to both Tuscan and Umbrian attractions. The medieval walled town of Lucignano has shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Lucignano, the pearl of Valdichiana, is one of the most interesting examples of medieval town planning with its elliptical structure based on concentric rings. It's a hidden gem, authentic and untouched by mass tourism, a place suspended out of time. Be sure to visit the elaborate reliquary made for the church of San Francesco in the Museum of Lucignano. Called the l'albero della vita (The Tree of Life) the central stem is supported on a Gothic reliquary, from which spread out twelve branches, surmounted by a Crucifix and a pelican. On the branches there are sprigs of coral, representing the blood of Christ.
The villa is within 30 miles of Arezzo, Siena and Lake Trasimeno and so many more amazing and sites and villages. Go horseback riding, play tennis, tour wineries, get out on the water in Lake Trasimieno there are endless possibilities surrounding you!
Local train and bus service connects through Arezzo, or drive @ 15 minutes to the Arezzo train station that has direct service north to Florence and south to Rome.
With a peaceful and bucolic setting, the villa sits amid extensive private grounds with sprawling vistas of wooded hillsides.
The traditional, symmetrical stone villa has a grand arched entryway and boasts a Tuscan tower rising from the center of the roof. You will love exploring the villas ample grounds and luxuriating in the large swimming pool complete with a pool house including dressing and shower rooms. A very large shaded pergola has its own dining and comfortable lounge area with plentiful seating, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. You could easily spend the whole day floating in the pool, soaking up the sunshine, reading, napping, dining.this home will inspire and recharge you!
Combining modern conveniences with traditional style, the spacious living room has a lovely working fireplace and several large windows that bring in lots of natural light. Adjacent, a formal dining room with circular table seats eight and overlooks the garden. The well equipped kitchen is bright, modern and simple to keep tidy and includes a breakfast table with seating for six.
The rooms are generously sized with attractive furnishings and bold artwork mixing wonderfully with traditional elements. Beautiful beamed ceilings, Tuscan cotto floors and an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary furnishings give the whole house a chic, yet very comfortable and upbeat décor. There's even a quiet study with a large bookcase to peruse nestled under the roof rafters in the tower!

Lucignano (1.8 km Distance)
Fascinating for its mediaval town construction of concentric circles that are unchanged today. Wonderful frescoes in church of life of St. Francis. Museum of treasures from the Middle Ages. Restaurants and shops.
Montepulciano (24 km Distance)
Top Tuscan town known for its eponymous wine, architecture from medieval times to the Renaissance.
