Buckingham Palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens!
Welcome to the York! Named for the grand old Dukes of England, this house is every bit as princely as its name suggests. This beautiful three-bedroom home, tucked away on a quiet lane, is perfect for the whole family.
Situated in the heart of Kensington, the York overlooks a gorgeous grade II listed church designed by the English architect, Giles Gilbert Scott. The peacefulness of its locations is in direct contrast to the incredible London buzz of the surrounding neighborhood. Experience the sprawling Hyde Park and Kensington Palace Gardens in just a short walk, or hit the shops on High Street Kensington. Take a stroll to Notting Hill for great restaurants and pubs and the famous Portobello Road market. Notting Hill is also a popular filming location - keep an eye out for familiar spots! The York benefits from excellent transport links, with Harrods and the surrounding Knightsbridge, just a short bus ride away, as well as the delights of South Kensington's museum quarter. The closest tube is a five-minute walk, for those who wish to explore great London districts such as the West End, Soho or Little Venice.
The York, with its sought-after and well-connected location, is a treasure. With enough space for five guests, you're bound to feel right at home upon arrival. An open-plan kitchen and dining room occupies the length of the first floor, with beautiful folding glass doors that open onto a quaint patio. A spacious bedroom is tucked away next to the kitchen and adjoins a separate utility area and office, making London living easy.
Climb the staircase to find a large living room, featuring a comfy corner couch, TV and piano which can be enjoyed by guests. A separate love seat and armchairs near the windows are great spots for reading. Bedroom 1 is beautifully designed with built-in wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. The bedroom 3 is located up another flight of stairs, with a lovely skylight and separate bathroom. Underfloor heating throughout keeps this home cozy, and the exquisite décor exudes luxury. Spacious and home-like, The York would make an ideal choice for your perfect London rental.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home
by Mason FamilyWe can't say enough good about our stay at The York! The location is perfect, the house is well decorated and has all the kitchen supplies you could need, and the London Perfect hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. We had an issue with the stove and they sent someone over right away to help us. They even sent us a how-to video about the oven from the owner after learning that we'd be cooking Thanksgiving dinner. A wonderful week in a beautiful home - can't wait to go back!
