We returned to the Russell for our second stay because we liked it so much. The apartment is quiet, looking onto a parking lot in the back so it's not facing a street, but still get lots of light and air. The welcoming staff was there when we arrived and they allowed us to check in early without any problem. He explained everything in the apartment and showed us how it worked and gave us his favorite apps for traveling around London and ordering food delivery. Those apps turned out to be amazingly helpful navigating London! It was a bit warm (we were there in July) so we requested an additional fan, which showed up the next day no problem. The kitchen came fully equipped, and they had milk, coffee and some basics already in the house for us which was so nice. The washer dryer is more like a washer. The dryer didn't work entirely, but we hung up the clothes and they were wrung out well by the washer so they dried pretty quickly hanging for a few hours (we emailed the management to let them know). The area is terrific. Right near a couple of central subway lines (Earl's Court), near the natural history museum, the park and the V&A museum. Great french bakery couple of blocks away, great British pub, Thai food and wonderful Indian food a block away, and grocery stores big and small within close walking distance. It is amazingly convenient. The apartment was very clean, wifi worked super quickly and hook up was immediate. Didn't hear much noise from the other apartments. I would totally recommend a stay here with children--second bedroom is two single beds which was perfect for our family of 4. Beds & pillows and duvets were clean, crisp and really comfortable, which sounds silly to say but it made the stay so much more enjoyable after long days of roaming the city. Really fantastic.

We're having a once in a lifetime family trip with 3 generations of the women in our family. London is the first step! We loved the flat and our whole experience. Highly recommend a restaurant called Koha in the alley behind Noel Coward Theater. Great place to see actors as they exit stage down, and fresh, delicious food. Owner Fadil takes pride in hosting locals and stars in low-key, welcoming setting. Also try Devonshire Arms for authentic, local pub experience and outdoor seating. (Walking on the way to Holland Park) Guests: PS. To use the stove top make sure the red switch on the wall to the left is on!!

This has been a lovely place to stay in London. Welcoming host and very comfortable flat to come home to after our busy sightseeing (and, a little shopping!) Can't believe we came from Melbourne to get sunburnt in London. Everything we need here - and such a convenient place so close to all transport and walking distance to many attractions. Leaving with many happy memories and wishing we had more time here. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time in London & loved staying at the Russell. Perfect flat & terrific location. We ate at Da Mario's & Gloucester Arms. Both were great! Also picked up food for breakfast at Sainsbury's down the street. (And they had a Starbucks too!) If you have time, we would suggest taking the train to Bath. Absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the bus tour of London but later came across BB's bakery near Trafalgar Sq & found that they serve afternoon tea on a vintage double decker bus. It looked so amazing that we wish we could have done it. bbbakery.co.uk - Check it out! Camden Lock Market was crazy but fun. Get there early. We arrived at 10:00 on a Saturday & it was busy by 11:30. Also enjoyed tea at the Cellarium next to Westminster Abbey, Go after noon to eat upstairs. Etc, etc! We enjoyed all the sites!

The Russell flat on Cromwell Road was a lovely place from which to start and finish our days. The flat was clean and neat and had all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. It was easy walking distance to the Earls Court tube station or High Street Kensington tube station. The Sainsburys grocery store was very close as well. The staff couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely chose London Perfect again!

We appreciated the Russell apartment. It was quiet, nice and functional. Perhaps a lack of space to put things away in the bedrooms. We had not discovered at first that there was space in the big cupboard of the living-room. A well-equipped kitchen. The location was very convenient with easy access to main lines at Earl's Court, to lots of little restaurants and to Sainsbury's! We all loved our week's stay there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Russell! It was clean, comfortable and in a great neighborhood. The flat was so close to the tube, groceries, restaurants etc. We were also very impressed with the communication before during and after our stay at the Russell. London Perfect helped us find a driver who was waiting for us at the airport even though our flight was 5 hours late! Ian greeted us upon arrival and was so gracious and helpful! In addition there was a booklet of info in the apartment that was full of helpful tips on local restaurant, tourist information etc. I would definitely recommend The Russell. Enjoy!

Location and description of apartment were exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds in both rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. London Perfect staff and Lushi were wonderful in providing directions and showing us shopping, tube stops, etc. The caveat in the apartment description about the building being loud is a bit of an understatement: while we heard no street noise (this unit is on the backside of the apartment) there is a lot of moving around within the unit and we were woken up a number of times during the night by slamming and/or very squeaky doors. If you are a light sleeper, this apartment is not for you. ut if you can deal with apartment noise and/or have earplugs, it is a great apartment in a perfect location.

We stayed at the London Perfect Russell apartment with our 2 teenagers (16 and 14) over the Christmas holiday, December 2014 and had a great time! From the moment we arrived we were well taken care of by London Perfect who met us at the apartment and explained everything about the place and the area - we had a wonderful stay! The apartment has everything you could possibly want from high speed internet to cooking supplies and utensils if you want them (we cooked a full Christmas dinner!) - also the building felt very safe and secure and very quiet. Everything at the apartment was in top working order and it was nice to have a washer/dryer. The location is PERFECT and began to feel like home after a few days - just minutes from High Street Kensington shops, groceries and restaurants you couldn't ask for a better location. We used the Earl's Court tube stop which was only a 5 minute walk. We would highly recommend the Russell and hope to visit again someday!

This apartment (or "flat"!) is in a perfect location for those who wish to have peace and quiet but still be close to a tube stop. You are mere blocks away from the underground, groceries, Kensington/Hyde Park, and tons of great restaurants. The setup is ideal for families, and the kitchen is fully equipt to eat meals "in" if you choose. Overall, an amazingly wonderful place!

Incredibly convenient apartment. Bus line right out front and in between 2 underground stations that can get you anywhere in the city. Near to a large grocery store as well as fruit stands and nice local restaurants. Apartment was perfect for us. 2 boys had two single beds in one bedroom and we had a lovely queen in the other. Beds were really comfortable! plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked and laid out. Laundry was easy and very convenient and the young man who checked us in was incredibly knowlegeable (and on time!). He recommended places to us as well as a take out food app for our phones which was fantastic. you put in your postal code and then it listed all the restaurants that delivered in the area. Really helpful. The apartment was very clean and light and comfortable. It was also quiet. It's in an apartment building so you don't ever know how much of your neighbors or your neighborhood you will hear. But our apartment looked out over a partking lot which gave us a lot of light because there was not blocking building but it also did not look out onto the street. We had no issues with noise, which i really appreciated. I would highly recommend it and I would come back again to stay there.

We, a family of four (daughters age 13 and 10) found the apartment to be perfect for our needs. Four minutes to Earl's Court tube stop, well appointed, great kitchen that was easy for breakfast, good water pressure, excellent natural light, plenty of space -- really just what we wanted. Some noise from the adjacent apartments, but that is to be expected. I would definitely recommend and may one day return.

Our time at the Russell was wonderful! I must repeat what everyone else has said: the location is perfect. It is close to several Tube stops, a grocery store and Museum Row. The neighborhood felt very safe-even at night. Although the building is on a busy street, the flat itself faces the parking lot in the back. It was very quiet! The employees of London Perfect showed us all the amenities of the flat when we arrived. It was quite helpful! We only had one issue during our stay-the wifi was not working. The staff provided us with a temporary fix and the issue was remedied within a couple of days. Wifi was definitely not a necessity but made making each day's plans/reservations and staying in touch with our family at home much easier. I would HIGHLY recommend this flat to anyone traveling to London.

The Russell apartment was perfect! Centrally located, it is within a very short walk to several tube stops...we used the alley across the road to short cut to Earl's Court (took us 5 minutes!). Grocery stores abound! Sainsbury is literally a block away. Tescos (better selection) is a 10 minute walk and Whole Foods (yes Americans...a Whole Foods store!) is about a 15 minute walk to Kensington High Street. Our visit was over Thanksgiving and we were able to host 10 people in the flat very comfortably...enough chairs, plates, glasses provided in the flat. Sufficient cookware. I was able to cook a real turkey with all the trimmings and sides! The oven is a European one so everything takes longer (I'm spoiled with 2 large ovens at home). The washer dryer works well, albeit loads are very small and the machines normal cycles are quite long (compared to USA). Never-the-less, it works perfectly! Beds are very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place. We would rent again this flat in a nano second! Highly recommend!

We were very happy with our 8 day stay in the Russell Apartment. The location is great - we used the Earl's Court tube stop daily and loved being only 5 minutes away. The area is very nice, safe, and close to shopping, restaurants, and Kensington Park. The apartment was very clean and well supplied, and looked exactly like the photographs on line. It was a very comfortable calm place to return to after busy days of touring around London. Our experience with London Perfect was very good.

The apartment was very nice: simple and clean. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up on our arrival and it had not been cleaned so the owner and management person had to clean it while we waited in the apartment. They felt really bad about it and apologized profusely. It was hot when we where there and luckily the apartment had two fans which were definitely needed! The neighborhood is a very wealthy area and we got a kick out of all the expensive cars. Wonderful eating places, market, close to the tube, etc. Would definitely recommend this apartment to others!

I would recommend Russell as an ideal luxury apartment to stay in when in London. I found the location and the quality of the apartment perfect. This ensured that I had a fantastic stay over the 7 nights that my husband and I were in London in February 2013 and attests to the fact that I am prepared to write a review as a result! Russell is near all the prestigious sights and important landmarks in London. It is a stone's throw from The Science Museum, The National History Museum, and The Victoria & Albert Museum and Kensington Gardens, Holland Park and Hyde Park are also nearby. The flat itself is located on Marloes Road, (which is a tree-lined street that links one to Kensington High Street, with its beautiful parks)- as well as being within the eye of the exclusive settings of Knightsbridge and Chelsea also. With a choice of 2 underground subway stations within a 10 minute walk, there are also oodles of London red buses around the corner from the flat, so you can be in Harrods- Oxford Street and Bond Street or the King's Rd in minutes. The rental's appearance and amenities live up to the expectations one gets from the pictures listed on the site. The apartment is decorated to a very high standard with beautiful oak wooden floors and furniture and fixtures that have been tastefully chosen to establish a bright and light zone of high quality luxury and comfort. We found that the kitchen was very well equipped and spotless. An un-interrupted Wi-Fi connection was an added bonus that allowed me to prepare and research the many restaurants and pursuits we planned throughout our stay, as well as to keep in touch with the folks- who envied us living the London life! We found the flat was beside the very best amenities in Kensington and discovered some we didn’t even know existed. We discovered the Stratford Village area of Kensington - as we walked up to Notting Hill for the market in Portobello on the Saturday morning and found two delightful and exclusive award winning pubs on Edwards Square and Pembroke Square are also close by. We will definitely book Russell again and we are happy to recommend Russell to a friend or relative. The independence of staying in a high quality apartment like Russell was a bonus because the standard and location of the apartment is exceptional.

We were right by the underground and buses and in the heart of Kensington. I highly recommend this property.

I came to stay at this apartment last summer with my husband and two children. It proved the perfect place for us to have a well earned break. It's away from the road and extremely quiet. It also is newly refurbished, so extremely clean and tidy. It feels very luxurious and similar to a hotel. The main living space was large and provided enough space to cook, eat, watch TV and to have 'space' from each other. The apartment is right by the center of town; including Earls Court Tube and all the buses on Cromwell Road, meaning that we could easily access all that London had to offer! I'm so pleased we stayed here and not in a hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to London. The Russell was definitely the best choice of apartment and location. Being in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the luxury and comfort of the apartment was a combination of luxery and home from home, which gave us a sense of belonging. Due to its proximity to Kensington Palace, my wife felt as if she was Royalty itself, whilst my daily jogs through the grounds and along Kensington Park, made for an attractive amenity that has lifted my spirits. The short distance to all the best art galleries and museums, the great village life of Stratford Road and the early morning stroll up to Kensington High Street and the King's Rd have ignited a desire to return to London and to live in Russell again. Thank you for all the little touches; they didn't go un-noticed and we look forward to enjoying Russell and London again.
