The Rockingham is a stunning two-storey vacation rental set on a quiet street near Kensington Gardens and Museum Row in the South Kensington neighborhood. Many mews homes like the Rockingham have been beautifully remodelled to luxurious and modern residences.
When you step in your private entrance you'll find an open plan living room, dining area and kitchen on the main floor, as well as a full bathroom. On the upper level of this beautiful mews home you'll find the first bedroom with a comfortable bed, a cute balcony with bistro table and chairs and a full en suite bathroom. The second bedroom also features an en suite full bathroom and two beds that can be made up as one bed. The Rockingham is a beautifully designed vacation rental that offers a stylish and comfortable London stay.
You'll love the Rockingham's ideal location in South Kensington near the Natural History Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Kensington Gardens and all the excellent dining and shopping nearby. Rockingham was lovely, peaceful, comfortable and conveniently located. The flat was absolutely spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. There were two adults and one 10-year-old in our party, and we had plenty of space to relax in the living room and bedrooms. Very quiet area in general given it's in London. The South Kensington tube station was just around a few corners, and we rode that or buses every day. Only one small update is needed: new, quieter fans for those occasional stuffy nights. We would definitely stay there again.

The Rockingham apartment was perfect for our family of 4. The London Perfect representatives were a pleasure to deal with and using Lushi's driver made our arrival seamless. The location of the apartment was great, with 2 tube stops nearby and plenty of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. I would definitely rent with London Perfect again in the future.

The Rockingham apartment was great. Both bedrooms had it's own full bathroom, so there is plenty of space for 3-4 people. The location was close enough to the tube and the street was fairly quiet. And London Perfect was easy to deal with and met us at the apartment when we arrived, so we had no worries at all. A perfect vacation.

We so enjoyed our stay in London and the apartment had everything we needed. We were travelling with our two boys, ages 5 and 8, so it was nice to have a little room to spread out. The tube was very convenient – and even managed two shows in the West End. Your well-appointed kitchen allowed us to cook several nights but we also found a few great restaurants nearby. Tom's Kitchen near St. Luke's (amazing park and playground) was a short walk and solid form to table food. Service was great and bent over backwards for the lads. Recommended. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your "London Perfect" apartment!

Had a lovely vacation, Hampton Court and Stonehenge were the highlights. Check out the real food market Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings at embankment on the other side of the river – Hourglass pub had best pints and steak + Guinness pie. Best coffee is Fernandez & Wells next to the South Kens tube. Best pub scene at night was the Queensarms just down queen's gate. Check out Lupita's near embankment for great guacamole (coming from a family of Texans!) Humbled by appreciative of the great history & great people of this city. Enjoy every moment here and don't let any opportunities pass you by!

To the Perfect team, You are "Perfect"! Rockingham was a perfect base for our family to explore London. We were blessed with lovely weather, sunny warm days and clear blue skies. We used the tube extensively. We bought travel cards from a state rail station and were able to use "2 for 1" offers at a few London attractions. The facilities provided by Rockingham made us feel at home especially after a long day of sightseeing. If you are here on a weekend do not miss the Borough markets. Also the Imperial War Museum was excellent. London, you are a vibrant, exciting city. We will be back!

A great experience - There were 4 of us and the house worked out perfect – took the tube a few times, but for the four of us taxi's worked out better and our granddaughters could see the sites. Natural History Museum was a hit with them, as well as Tower of London. Rockingham is beautifully furnished and well situated. We ate dinners in most nights, as this was easier with the girls. The entire experience with London Perfect was in fact "Perfect".

This Rockingham apartment was ideal in many ways, size, location and amenities. We were able to walk to many museums, restaurants, etc. Oyster card was great – we used the tube a lot, but realized that buses allowed us to see more of the city. We stuck to the city except for a trip to Hampton Court Palace.

Staying in this apartment was a great asset to our stay in London. For our London experience, it was home. We hopped on the Big Red Bus and took a high tour of the city. This helped get our bearings. We did the Harry Potter tour the next day. (It is fine with your bus pass and is good for 24 hours). We were not able to do the ferry tour – next time. Go to the sites you want to see Tower of London, The Globe. At least walk through Harrod's Store. Go to Abbey Road and capture your family like the iconic album cover. The people are friendly and eager to share their great city. Three blocks from here has great food and spectacular museums.

First time in London and the Rockingham was a great location to explore the city. Convenient access to the South Kensington tube stop is a great feature. Easy walking distance to the V & A and other museums is a plus. Great shopping and restaurants close by. We enjoyed Hereford Arms, Rocca and Nandos near tube station. Having the extra bathroom downstairs is a nice feature. The apartment is well furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked. This is our 2nd experience with London Perfect/Paris Perfect. We recommend the Madiran apartment in Paris. Look forward to our next visit to London.

Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer and explore more of what is now our favorite city! Thank you for enhancing our stay with all of the little touches. We hope to be back soon!

Nice mews house. Well appointed. Good location, close to tube stops and restaurants and grocery stores, but still very quiet. London Perfect staff were excellent, as was Lushi's car service. No complaints. The apartment is at it appears in the photos. No regrets staying here.

The mews apartment was located in the perfect spot for our group. The location was convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, public transportation, museums, Harrod's, etc. The accommodations worked well, and having three bathrooms made getting ready very nice. Being in the heart of South Kensington, the apartment was very quiet. A very delightful stay! Thank you.

An absolute gem of a find. As a family, we have stayed at a wide variety of flats and hotels in South Kensington and Kensington as well as Chelsea, Maida Vale and Hyde Park both as a family and (for my husband and I) as professionals here on business. We all agreed that this had been one of our very best experiences with a shout let and that we are sorry to leave! What has struck me from the initial response to the availability enquiry right to the end of our stay is the ease with which our enquiries were answered, the non-intrusive but knowledgeable interaction and the little touches in our well-stocked mews house – ample linen supplies, basic groceries (including shortbread and wine) laundry and dishwasher cleaning tablets that were, I assume, part and parcel of the London Perfect experience. They "get it" and they get it right, at London Perfect! The location has been perfect: being in the middle in terms of transport, accessibility to museums, restaurants and shopping and parks: plenty to feed the weary soul on a two-week holiday. Quiet setting perfect for family bonding in our last weeks' together before our eldest begins boarding school in the UK but a short walk or bus ride everywhere to shop for wellies and tuck box items for her to take with her! For tea, take the bus (70, 74 just outside Eden Plaza at 68 – 69 Queens Gate) to the Milestone Hotel in Kensington. Partridges is a lovely little delicatessen on 17 – 19 Gloucester Road, that stocks gorgeous foods and great British fare. Jules Rotisserie on Bute Street will deliver fresh hot French rotisserie chicken and accompaniments and Gourmet Oriental does great Thai and Chinese food. There hasn't been enough time to wallow in the welcoming cosiness of this lovely little mews house. Three showers in a 2 bedroom apartment is unusual in London and a wonderful additional perk at Rockingham. It exceeded our expectations and we cannot recommend it enough. We wish it was available for the rest of our stay in the UK and will book ahead next year! Thank you London Perfect team. We look forward to our next stay!

Rockingham was the perfect place to stay for our family of four, we will never stay in a hotel again after this. Our greeter, John, was very helpful in getting us oriented, and then we were off to explore London. The location was amazing: easy access to the Tube, restaurants, museums, etc. for sure, but just as important to me was the convenient access to the mundane things like a grocery store, post office, pharmacy. The apartment was nicely appointed and the kitchen was very functional. Thank you, London Perfect!

The Rockingham was perfect! It's location was central to everything, and made excursions with our 5 year old easy and fun. Three major museums, the South Kensington tube stop, Kensington Gardens, and local cafes were all just minutes away. And the Mews was quiet and friendly. Having a 2-story flat allowed us our own space but was also intimate, airy and open all at the same time. Afternoon tea on the small balcony was a highlight, even for our son. All in all, an amazing experience. Thank you!

We stayed at the Rockingham in Kensington and absolutely loved it.The beds had down comforters which made us feel right at home. The kitchen had everything you needed. And if you have several people you are staying with not to worry. There are three bathrooms. Another plus is that the apartment is tucked away on a quiet street. It's very charming and you won't hear any noise during the day or the night. The Rockingham is very close to the tube so you can easily get to the theatre, Chinatown, and all the typical tourist attractions. We would recommend the Rockingham to anyone.

Our visit to the Rockingham apartment was every bit as nice as the website represented. It was a perfect location to explore London with our two teenage daughters. A short walk to two tube stations that made easy connections to anywhere in the city, as well as close to grocery stores, banks cafes, restaurants, pubs and several major museums. The experience exceeded our expectations. We loved the well-stocked, cosy apartment, especially enjoying the ability to come "home" on a snowy or rainy day and turn on the gas fireplace. There wasn't enough time in one week to see all that a trip to London has to offer, but we especially enjoyed a trip to Warwick Castle, Stratford Upon Avon and Oxford with Premium Tours. Also a half day trip to Warner Bros. Studio Harry Potter Filming Tour was a big hit with my girls. The house guide book has good recommendations - Waitrose supermarket, a short two or so block walk towards Gloucester Rd, is terrific - has anything you need. In the same area Boots drugstore, Post Office, bank, restaurants. Perhaps a little closer in the other direction is South Kensington station which is perfect for heading to London city. Connecting to various underground lines and overground trains is easy. Get an Oyster card and Go! Thank you to London Perfect and the apartment owners for providing us with this wonderful apartment and experience. We highly recommend it!
