My family, age range 13 to 73, stayed at the Maubert apartment in February 2020. It was, simply stated, FABULOUS! The apartment itself was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. Across the street is a wonderful bakery, and every morning (except Monday when it is closed!) we crossed the street for croissants and baguettes. Later in the day, their jambon sandwiches were a great late lunch, and their pastries out of this world. Just up the street is Place Maubert where three day a week there is an open air market which was fun to visit. And around the corner, Notre Dame cathedral, Sainte Chapelle and Ile St. Louis. There are more restaurants in the neighborhood than you could try in month, and the metro is steps away. The location of this apartment, the 5th arrondissement, is my personal favorite, and the Maubert apartment is definitely a dream location. I would definitely stay here on any future trips, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris.

Our stay in Maubert was the fulfillment of fantasy. We got to live as normal Parisians do for a few days. Our Paris Perfect experience was wonderful! We were beautifully taken care of, and the apt was clean, safe, and GORGEOUS! Truly a 5 Star experience! The beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen was fun to cook in. With everything we could need right at our fingertips in Maubert, we felt at home immediately! We all loved Maubert! Its such a little jewel!

This lovely apartment was well suited for our active family. We were 3 adults travelling with 3 children and the apartment was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed shopping at the markets to bring home goodies to cook and enjoy for breakfast. It was helpful having 2 bathrooms so we could all get ready without too much hassle. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of storage space for clothing, suitcases and purchases. The location was superb with all the sights, Metro stops and little cafes close by. The kids loved playing soccer in the park across the street after a day of museums and attractions. We enjoyed all of the comforts of the apartment and appreciated the ease of using Victor Taxi for our airport transportation. The only issue was the one or two days of terrible street noise from the construction outside but that can happen in Paris anywhere. We would return again after such an awesome family vacation. I did appreciate all of the pre-arrival communication and prompt replies to my many questions ahead of time. Very professional company to work with.

First and most importantly, we love this apartment! This was our second stay and it is a wonderful place. The kitchen is fabulous (and large by Paris standards) and well equipped. We were happy to see that the old/uncomfortable living room sofa and chairs have been replaced; the new pieces are great. The Paris Perfect greeter/support staff (Natalie & Thomas) were terrific....responsive and very helpful. The neighborhood has everything you could possibly want, including the 3X a week outdoor market.
There are just two concerns that I think should be mentioned. One is the street noise we found on this visit. Despite the double paned windows, our sleep was disturbed on quite a few occasions by people on the street, outside the bedroom window. I know nothing can be done about this but future guests should be aware of it. The only other recommendation is that the owners really need to replace the bathroom towels. Obviously once white and appealing to use, they are now grey-tone, rough and unpleasant, definitely not up to Paris Perfect standards. One of the wonderful things about renting through PP is that you can expect a certain level of comfort. Dingy, grey (formally white) towels just don't measure up.
Our 3 week stay was wonderful and we can't wait to return !

My dear friend and I had a wonderful time at Maubert. The location was wonderful right next to Notre Dame. The metro was conveniently located although we usually just walked everywhere. The apartment is beautiful. We loved winding down the evening in the large den area with some wine and cheese we purchased at the outdoor market area a block away. The street side is quiet but the back a little noisy early in the morning on trash pick-up days with glass bottles being dumped I suppose. The second bathroom shower should only be used in a pinch so we avoided that easily. The main bathroom was perfectly adequate.

The Maubert was the perfect apartment for our family rendezvous in Paris. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of all the sights and museums. The Seine and the Notre Dame Cathedral are just around the corner, the lively Latin Quarter surrounds you and there is easy access to the metro and buses for further jaunts.
The interior of the apartment is elegant and spacious with many beautiful details - tall windows offering magical views of the snow falling (yes, snow in March) fireplaces in every room, wood floors, and lots of room for a family to spread out and feel comfortable. The kitchen (stocked sufficiently with everything for meal prep) and dining room were wonderful for enjoying meals after long days of exploration. The inviting bedrooms and baths were clean and nicely decorated. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were.
The surrounding neighborhood has everything - bakeries, cheese shops, cafes, small grocery stores including a small park right across the street where the oldest tree in Paris grows! And for book lovers, the famous Shakespeare bookstore is a block away.
Paris Perfect was exceptional to work with while planning our trip. Would recommend the starter packs and travel WiFi. It made it very easy to hit the ground running. Jane and Lia provided wonderful quick communication about our apartment and greeted our son with a much appreciated welcome basket of goodies upon entry.
There were lots of nice little details - blooming daffodils, Paris guidebooks, a music dock - theses all added to our overall enjoyment of the apartment. We highly recommend the Maubert and can't wait to return!

Fantastic apartment in a perfect location for our third time renting from PP. It was on the second floor, so the walk up was quick and easy. We loved that it was on the eastern side of the city and close to the river, Notre Dame cathedral, and great neighborhoods. The bakery across the street is absolutely amazing. The apartment was spacious and accommodated the four of us with no problem. The second shower in the small bathroom is a bit of a challenge to use because of space limitations, but my wife found it to be okay. The main bathroom and shower are fantastic. The kitchen is great for cooking light foods but for our friend who is a serious chef, we found the cooking gear a bit limited. That said, nothing would prevent us from renting this apartment again, and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time in the Maubert apartment. It was a fantastic location which allowed us to walk many places & also convenient for the Metro. The apartment itself was everything you'd want in a Paris apartment- cosy, luxurious & full of character. We appreciated the lovely touches made by our host such as the coffee, jam, fresh oranges etc. The books & information were very helpful too. Jane, our greeter, was at the apartment to meet us, show us around & left us feeling we could contact her if there was any need. The hardest part was leaving!

We loved the Maubert apartment - it was perfect for our family of 5 and the location was nothing short of superb - literally minutes from Notre Dame Cathedral - we could hear the bells several times a day! Our host Jane was lovely and told us of restaurants and the local markets which were amazing - thank you! We couldn't recommend this apartment enough - great location, beautifully decorated, immaculate and very comfortable to come home to after an exhausting day playing tourist! Also Victor's cars picked us up and dropped us to the train station - very professional, well priced and lovely. The Hop On Hop Off bus tours pick up point is very close, the metro is very close and loads of excellent restaurants/cafes close by. We felt very safe and well looked after - thank you very much! x

It was so wonderfully french - just what I imagined it would be and so spacious, beautifully decorated and so central just 100m from Notre Dame. It was a joy to be there. We just returned from a 10 day stay in Maubert and want to sing its praises to anyone looking for a great location and elegant abode in Paris. We received excellent services from the Paris Perfect staff including two wonderful tours arranged by them that were personal and well guided: the neighborhood orientation tour and the Montmartre tour. This 19thC Haussmann apartment was quiet thanks to double glazed windows, well secured, and had gorgeous features and furnishings. The historical open air Maubert market was nearby for daily shopping of provisions, kitchen well equipped and all the necessary amenities needed for a perfect vacation. Thank you to Jane for her greeting and orientation our first day and the welcome basket to get us started. Highly recommended.

We sure had a wonderful time in Paris and at the Maubert apartment. It was very comfortable (except for the electric toilet that gave us trouble throughout our stay, but Jane was kind enough trying to fix it), beautifully arranged and exceptionally located near Notre Dame and many other sights. Loved having the bakery across the street and buying fresh butter croissants and brioches for breakfast every morning. Sure makes you feel like a local! A cousin of mine recommended the site, and coincidentally stayed at the Maubert apartment 3 years ago.

We had a wonderful stay in Maubert with our family of 5 (3 teenagers) for 6 nights. The apartment is in a wonderful location only two blocks from Notre Dame. It was well located near both Metro and bus stops, and there was an excellent boulangerie, market, and cheese shop a few blocks away. There is a cafe right across the street. It had 3 bedrooms which were spacious and comfortable, and two bathrooms which was a bonus. The kitchen was modern, and we appreciated being greeted with a bottle of wine, coffee, biscuits, and jam for our stay. The street outside was a stopping point for buses during the day, but this did not affect us at night, and the apartment was very quiet. The air conditioning had just been installed and was not quite finished--so a little noisy--but that should be fixed soon. We would highly recommend Maubert. The location was central and wonderful.

The location was amazing! Maubert is literally around the corner from Notre Dame and we heard the bells daily. The apartment is well appointed and incredibly spacious. The beds were comfy, and the array of kitchen supplies was more than sufficient for the amount of cooking we did. Plus, the gift basket was a sweet gesture we all enjoyed. There was an open air market the day we arrived, so we enjoyed shopping for fresh food a half block from the apartment. Jane & Lia were both helpful and kind. Maubert is beautiful and charming and within walking distance of many sites as well as the Metro. It was a great place to spend a week in Paris.

The Maubert is an elegant and perfectly situated apartment near Notre Dame, with easy access to all the major sites, charming cafes and bistros. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and peaceful with absolutely beautiful French decor/touches. We had a wonderful stay at apartment Maubert in February. The apartment is gorgeous, spacious and beautifully furnished. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a gourmet Parisian meal. Location was perfect -- easy to access bus and Metro, 2 blocks down from the open market where we bought fresh produce, linens for souvenirs, along with meat, cheese, bread, pastries and wine from the shops on the square. I highly recommend Eric Poopard, a vendor at the market who has good quality linens was a delight to deal with-- he even delivered a tablecloth to the apartment!
Jane Merrifield was terrific. She met us at the apartment with fresh fruit, flowers, coffee and wine. What a welcome for tired travelers! She gave us excellent tips for navigating the neighborhood & the city, favorite restaurants & shops, and was very responsive to our inquiries. We highly recommend Apartment Maubert and Paris Perfect. Thank you for making Paris perfect for the 3 of us!

On the evenings we weren't going out to eat, we utilized the full kitchen and dining room to make meals using the fresh produce and bread from the market right around the corner. Having rented apartments and villas all over the world, we can easily say that Maubert is one of our favorites. The location is perfect, on the Left Bank, adjacent to Notre Dame and Avenue St. Germain. Metro stops, a taxi stand and a great, twice-weekly outdoor food market are in the immediate vicinity. The apartment itself is very accessible--only one floor up. (We never bothered with the elevator.). There is plenty of space for up to four people, with a living room, second sitting room, formal dining room, two bedrooms, two baths (albeit one smallish), and a chef's kitchen. All is in good condition, clean and well-maintained. The beautiful antique ceilings and fireplaces have been preserved, giving the place a true "old-world" ambience. It is the perfect blend of character and convenience. I would gladly rent Maubert again (and very likely will). Finally, cheers to Jane from Paris Perfect for her kindness in looking after us. The company is aptly named, because everything was indeed "perfect".

What a joy it was to stay in the Maubert apartment situated in the historic heart of Paris. The location was fantastic as we were steps from Notre Dame, the Batobus and all the great cafes and restaurants. Bertrand's across the street was an extra bonus and their pastries and baguettes are wonderful. We had previously stayed in the 7th arrondissement so it was great to explore more of Paris. The Maubert was beautifully decorated with everything you would expect from a Parisian apartment including a well equipped kitchen. It was a welcome comfort after a day of sightseeing. This apartment was truly "Paris Perfect". Wonderful location and near so many sights and restaurants. We loved hearing Notre Dame's bells ring daily, loved the breeze through the windows and watching life go by outside. Very comfortable for our family of five. My son enjoyed sushi from across the street, we loved croissants from the bakery and the outdoor market on the corner of St Germaine. What a beautiful apartment! And so spacious! The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed. The rooms were light filled and quiet as long as the windows were closed. The location was superb with plenty of food shops and restaurants to choose from. Not to even mention the Shakespeare & Company Cafe! Location, location, location!! My friends and I stayed in Maubert on our recent trip to Paris and the location was perfect! Minutes from Notre Dame, an easy 10 minute walk to Saint Germain we enjoyed many visits to the Shakespeare and Company bookstore and new café which is just across the street. I really enjoyed the Odette tea room only a 3 minute walk from the apartment. There is a bus stop right around the corner and access to several metro lines. We enjoyed walking along the cobblestone streets of Rue Saint-Severin with lively restaurants and local flavour. The apartment is spacious with high ceilings and a lot of natural light coming in from the large windows in the living room, dining room and bedroom. This is a great apartment for a family or group of friends.

The apartment was in the best location possible, right next to Notre Dame and fabulous food options. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the pictures and even the quirky front door added character! Jane was extremely accommodating with making specials arrangements for both our arrival and departure.
In fact the whole Paris Perfect family was great from the moment I was looking for accommodation to booking it. Thank you ladies! See you on my next trip!

The Maubert apartment was lovely. It easily accommodated four of us and it was perfectly located for exploring the city. There's a patisserie across the street and Notre Dame around the corner. Our stay at Maubert could not have been any better! The apartment is lovely, spacious and comfortable...and was very clean! The location was truly unbelievable! At the center of Paris, steps away from Notre Dame, close to Metro stops, we could get anywhere we wanted so easily. I would highly recommend Maubert and Paris Perfect to anyone!

Maubert was the perfect place for our family of five adults. From there, we could walk to Notre Dame in a matter of minutes and could even enjoy the sound of the chiming cathedral bells. Although it was on a busy street, it was quiet at night and perfectly comfortable for sleeping. In the morning (and evenings) we enjoyed opening the doors facing the street to feel a part of the lively street scene below. The dining room was our favorite place. Every morning we sat at its large table to enjoy pastries from the boulangerie across the street and each evening, we would have a glass of wine there before heading out to dinner. The property manager, Jane, was particularly helpful in getting us settled upon our arrival. The combination of location, privacy, service and ambience were truly "Paris Perfect." We will never forget our stay in this elegantly appointed dream apartment!

We loved Paris and the Maubert apartment was wonderful! Large windows looked out over the Patissier/Boulanger and the other small shops on Rue LaGrange. Jane, our local contact, was most helpful and welcoming. There were flowers, wine, and a nice snack basket there upon our arrival. It was very easy to get to the Metro, RER and buses from the location. It truly was located just around the corner and a very short walk to Notre Dame. It felt very safe and quiet, despite its central location. We fell in love with Paris and with this apartment.

Cross one street and turn down a small alley, and we were delighted with the many shops and cafes located in the Latin Quarter. Wonderful to walk around during the day and in the evening. It felt very safe and quiet, despite its central location. We fell in love with Paris and with this apartment. You will be well taken care of by Jane if you decide to stay at the Maubert. She was very responsive to our questions. Plan to find a home away from home if you decide to stay at this beautiful apartment. We didn't want to leave!! J'aime Paris et Maubert!! We found the apartment lovely and wonderful for the five of us (all "older" adults). We had four day Paris Passes and really used the "hop on, hop off" red buses. The bakery across the street and the market were just Paris Perfect! Every Parisean we met were very nice and helpful. We took a private tour to Normandy that was so special. Everything was wonderful! We hope to be back!

Charming. Roomy. Beautifully appointed. Convenient location. Like living in a movie. We enjoyed everything about this apartment as we enjoyed the neighborhood markets, patisseries, bistros, and cafés. People everywhere were very kind to us. We felt like we were "living" in Paris. We loved staying in Maubert: a wonderful Parisian apartment, over a hundred years old but with all modern comforts. It is spacious and decorated beautifully.
When we were not enjoying the amazing restaurants in the area, we did our own cooking using the very fresh produce from the open air market on the Place.
The kitchen is fully equiped. We really felt at home. The welcome gifts were a lovely surprise!
With the Seine and Notre Dame just around the corner, it was an unforgettable experience.
