Welcome to the Devon! Our beautiful large studio is a perfect retreat set on the garden level of a stunning white Victorian home. Situated in the heart of Kensington on a tree-lined street, the Devon is a peaceful studio virtually on the doorstep of Hyde Park and a pleasant stroll from South Kensington's famous Museum Row.
The Devon has a warm and welcoming ambiance. The clever, thoughtful décor provides everything you need for a comfortable city break. On first arrival you will find a spacious communal indoor patio for relaxing after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. The patio adjoins a foyer with gorgeous alcove lighting, where you'll find the main entrance to the Devon property. Step through into the hallway, to a comfy reading spot, an ode to Harry Potter. Along the long entrance hall is the inviting, bright bedroom featuring tasteful decorations, with large mirrors reflecting natural light and a wall-mounted TV for your comfort. Perhaps the piece de resistance of the Devon is the gorgeous sunroom adjoining the bedroom. With plenty of greenery and light from above, it's the perfect spot to dine or have a relaxing morning coffee before starting the day. Perfect for a couple, the Devon is a unique and ideal home for a trip to the capital.
You'll love the Devon's neighborhood - one of the most exclusive and sought-after in London! With a rich history and equally interesting inhabitants - from actors to politicians - Kensington is a veritable treasure trove waiting to be explored! Make sure to keep an eye out for London's iconic blue plaques; this neighborhood has them in abundance. Not only is the Devon tucked away in a peaceful spot, it is also perfect for accessing Kensington's biggest attractions. Kensington Palace, once the home of Princess Diana and now Prince William's family, is just a short walk, as is the expansive adjoining gardens. For a world-class shopping experience, head to the nearby Knightsbridge; home to the iconic Harrod's department store. Pick up groceries from the nearby Whole Foods or pop to Kensington High Street to peruse the shops and cafes. The Devon even makes it easy to discover the neighborhood of Notting Hill, which is bursting with top quality restaurants and the famous Portobello Market. With Gloucester Road tube station less than 10 minutes away, reaching central London neighborhoods, such as the amazing West End, Theatre District and Covent Garden, is easy!
