A charming little apartment with a wow-factor terrace just steps from the Ponte Vecchio in the coveted Oltrarno area. The terrace will be your outdoor living room when mild Mediterranean temperatures prevail during many months of the year.

We dubbed this the Carina apartment because it means ‘cute’ in Italian, a name that befits this charming little space just steps from the Ponte Vecchio on Florence’s coveted Oltrarno area. The terrace is the wow-factor at Carina, it will be your outdoor living room when mild Mediterranean temperatures prevail during many months of the year.

Location

With a prime position in the historic Oltrarno area that boasts great restaurants, cafes, artisan workshops, the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, you’re just one block from the Ponte Vecchio — the world famous pedestrian bridge lined with gold jewelry shops. The neighborhood abounds with ateliers that carry on the traditional Florentine crafts of jewelry making, gilding, antique furniture restoration, marbled paper, and bespoke leather goods.

Interior

Carina is a cute little hideaway, quiet and private with an impressive terrace that is nearly the same size as the apartment itself. The living room is tiny but comfortably furnished. There is an efficiency kitchenette for light meal preparation.

The bedroom also opens to the terrace which makes this a cheerful and bright room. Note that there is very little closet space. The bathroom is en suite.

We like this apartment for its great location and terrace. Please note our cautions about the small living room & limited closet space. If you don’t need a lot of space but want a bright apartment with great terrace in a terrific location this is the apartment for you.

Steps away from Ponte Vecchio

by Natalia D

My mom and have spent a little under a month around Italy and one of longest stayed was in Florence. We absolutely adored this city and the location of our stay. We were steps away from Ponte Vecchio and about a 10min walk to the cathedral, Duomo and tower. (Close enough that I was able to rush to the Firenze FC football store to buy a jersey before checkout!) After booking almost 10 stays and multiple cities, I was bound to have at least one hiccup in my itinerary. Thankfully Italy Perfect team and our check-in host, were so accommodating and understanding and adapted to our last minute need to change. Our first day, I had to contact our host for an issue with the hot water in the morning, by that afternoon all was resolved. They acted professionally and efficiently to ensure a comfortable stay for us. No doubt that if you need something, it will be accommodated for you. Thank you to the team for helping us in our stay and for this wonderful home!

We had a lovely time in Florence

by C & A

The Italy Perfect team was exceptional to work with. We loved our stay at the Carina apartment. Location is so convenient and the apartment was clean and comfy. We really loved the terrace w- it was fantastic during the unseasonably mild fall weather. Enjoyed sitting out there with a glass of wine in the early evening - such a retreat. Thanks for the good shopping and restaurant info too, very helpful.

Such a lovely stay.

by Venetia E

Such a lovely stay. The flat was nice and the terrace was lovely although it doesn’t get any sun, it was such a treat to have an outside bit. Isabel was very kind and helped with any questions I had. The location was ideal and close to everything you might need. Would definitely recommend to friends

Super Location, Super Terrace!

by Brittney

Enjoyed my stay at the Carina apartment. Lisa from Italy Perfect promised me I'd love it and I did! It was so centrally located, everything walkable but the best part was the terrace! I couldn't belive I had my own private terrace right in the historic center. As a mobile professional it was the perfect work-from-home apartment I could have ever imagined.
