Absolutely the perfect location!

We spent a week in Italy Perfect's Bardi apartment at the end of June. The apartment was perfectly located in the Oltrarno district at the foot of Ponte Vecchio. It's a quiet neighborhood with wonderful restaurants, interesting shops and friendly people. The apartment was well suited for two of us and was extremely comfortable. All of the people we met through Italy Perfect, including all the transfers and tours, were extremely helpful. Melissa at Italy Perfect's Concierge service was able to made lunch reservations for us in Fiesole. And when we were disappointed that we weren't able to get tickets to see The Last Supper in Milan, she even managed to get those tickets for us! Additionally, she made all the train, taxi and lunch reservations for us too. We had a wonderful day in Milan and were grateful to return that evening to our comfortable apartment near the Arno River. Melissa and her team are amazing! Thank you to Pat and everyone who helped us create a wonderful trip to Firenze!

Lovely, beautifully furnished, well equipped, comfortable apt. Location convenient to anything you would want. Our greeter, was wonderful. He always got back to us shortly with any problem we had. Italy Perfect were a pleasure to work with.

This place is lovely. A jewel box! And we have stayed in many Paris Perfect apartments in Paris over the years. The owner is great. Greeted very well by our host. It is small, but perfect for a couple. Fully equipped and I mean fully. Cold A/C. 4th floor European with lift in a small building in a perfect location at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio. Location could not be any better - you can walk everywhere and the shopping, museums, and restaurants are all right there. Beautiful marble floors and really nice terrace. Grocery is immediately next door to the building. Also a nice little bar to the left where you can have a 3 Euro beer and some antipasti or a sandwich. I would buy this place if owner would sell it to me!!! So impressed with it and the people of Florence. OK and the wine and the food and the art and the music.

The Bardi apartment is a real jewel.  Even though it is located in a busy area of Florence, it is a quiet and beautiful oasis and the balcony is amazing! The apartment is well-appointed with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It is located in the Oltrarno district, south of the river which, after 4 visits to Florence, it is my favorite area. It is quieter and you can meet some very kind Italian folks who live in the neighborhoods. It is so interesting to visit the artisans of Florence who keep alive the traditional art and craftsmanship in their workshops. As always, Italy Perfect did an amazing job with advanced preparation information and coordination with our wonderful greeter. I would not even consider renting a property from any other company. We spent 6 nights at the Bardi residence in Florence and we can't say enough wonderful things about our apartment. To start, the owner and his son could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The location of the apartment was so central and the apartment amenities were perfect. The space of this apartment was perfect for two people and it was clean and very comfortable. To top off this place it had a super market that had everything right next door to the apartment. As well there was a lovely coffee shop right across the street. We were walking distance from everything Florence has to offer and to top it off a wonderful terrace to enjoy coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon and evening. The Apartment Bardi is in a great location on the Via Bardi at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio in the old part of the city, just down the road from the Pitti Palace.  Conveniently located it is within easy walking distance of most of the major sites.  There is a grocery store immediately next door, both a self-service and assisted service laundries within a block. One of the best gelato shops in the city four doors down and two other gelato stores within two blocks. There are restaurants of many different type and price points across the street as well as in all surrounding blocks.  The walk along the Arno is half a block down. Now to the apartment itself. The bed is super comfortable. Unbelievably so for an apartment rental. The bathroom has an excellent shower and is very nice. The apartment is comfortable for two people. The balcony is very pleasant and has a nice cover to make it private and keep out the sun. But, on a hot Florence summer day, the air-conditioning is a huge treat. After coming home from long days of touring and walking through the huge crowds feeling rather dusty the apartment felt great. The team at Italy Perfect was very responsive throughout our communication with them.  We were greeted with no problem and all communication during our stay was excellent. We were so happy with this rental! The location is just perfect and it was so comfortable. Has elevator or stairs, washing machine which we used often at the end of the trip. Very quiet, no street noise with windows closed. Beautiful, immaculate apartment, everything we needed and more! The terrace was amazing and we sat there every day to relax. The owner is very nice and showed us how to use everything. The beds are very firm. Our trip couldn't have been more perfect.  We took the train from Rome to Florence and caught a cab out front of the station and were dropped off right in front of the apartment in less than 10 minutes. The owner was waiting at the door for us and whisked us inside and brought our luggage up in the elevator. He showed us how to operate everything (the washer is different so pay attention). He had a nice bottle of wine ready for us. The apartment is just the right size for two and we spent a lot of time on the terrace. It was amazing to us how quiet it was once we realized we really were right in the middle of it all. The Ponte Vecchio is right across the street and there are many great shops and restaurants steps away from the apartment.  We were happy with the location. We tried to head out in a different direction every day. (We always made sure to pass by Vivoli for gelati everyday-the best!) We counted our steps with our I phone and averaged 16,000 a day which made us ready for a good night's sleep on the firm mattress. We both have back issues from time to time but loved this mattress and had no problems on this trip. We had to contact the owner once when the water heater wasn't working properly and we only had cold water. He called right back and came over to reset it. No problem. We would definitely use Italy Perfect again but visit at a different time of year as it was way too crowded everywhere. Thanks for a great trip! Lisa: All we can say is that our 35 days in Florence was indeed "Italy Perfect". Our goal was to become residents of Florence and this was accomplished beautifully. The apartment at 49 Bardi was better than even expected. There wasn't one thing that we looked for that wasn't available to us, even scotch tape and scissors to mend our maps! We enjoyed the wonderful patio daily, and the outside unit for doing hand wash or using the washer was so convenient. Our hosts were wonderful. There were no issues, however, both gentlemen were available by phone when we had questions. The detailed material you provided was excellent. Craig kept saying that Italy Perfect was the best organized travel partner we had ever experienced. The restaurants suggested, many we had visited previously, were terrific. We spent most meals out in the Oltrarno, just short walking distances from the apartment. Of course, living next to the grocery store and steps from the bakery were even more convenient than at home!
